Harness Zorbing for Two in Cornwall
Newquay is a town already known for its love of adrenaline sports. Harness Zorbing gives a rush that is hard to beat but be warned, is not for the faint hearted. Join other brave participants and watch them take their rides before preparing to enter the sphere. The 12 foot inflatable ball has two layers to cushion inhabitants during the bumpiest of rides (although we dont guarantee it will be bump free!). Get strapped in for safety, then tumble and turn, bounce and roll up to 30 mph during the descent that just keeps on getting faster as the ball moves and gathers pace. In less than a minute the adventure is over, but it may take a while before the butterfilies disappear. Location: Newquay, Cornwall Availability: Runs from April to September, at least one weekday per month (usually a Friday), as well as the occasional Saturday or Sunday. Dates fill quickly and we recommend booking several weeks in advance. Weather: High winds and heavy rain can make sphereing unsafe and any cancellations are made with safety in mind. It is necessary on the morning of the experience to call the weather line to check if the experience is going ahead. Duration: The experience lasts up to an hour, with a few seconds to a full minute actually spent in the ball rolling. Participants are welcome to spend the remainder of the day on-site. Numbers On Day: Two participants share the sphere each time, but there will be others onsite on the day. Spectators: Family and friends are welcome to come along on the day. Dress Code: Wear long sleeves to prevent the harness rubbing shoulders and gloves to improve grip. Shoes and socks, jewellery, glasses and any other loose items must be removed. Guidelines: Restrictions: Must be fit, healthy and not pregnant. Min height 4 ft, max weight 18 stone. Min age 12, max 60. All participants must complete a brief health questionnaire before taking their ride. Parental consent required for any participant under 18. Other Info:
