When last we saw dear Sebastian, he was poised to feast on the ripened soul of his young master. Unfortunately for the debonair demon, there’s a new butler in town…Enter Claude Faustus, a malevolent manservant uninspired by the drab flavor of his own contracted master, Alois Trancy. THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS - An A-bomb test in the Arctic awakens a gargantuan prehistoric dinosaur that makes New York City its stomping ground in the movie (from a story by Ray Bradbury and with superb special effects by Ray Harryhausen) that launched a string of Atomic Age creature features. Godzilla (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]
Ishiro Honda’s Godzilla is the roaring granddaddy of all monster movies. It’s also a remarkably humane and melancholy drama made in Japan at a time when the country was still reeling from nuclear attack and H-bomb testing. Its rampaging radioactive beast, the poignant embodiment of an entire population’s fears, became a beloved international icon of destruction, spawning more than twenty sequels and spinoffs. This first thrilling, tactile spectacle continues to be a cult phenomenon; here, we present the original, 1954 Japanese version, along with Godzilla: King of the Monsters!, the 1956 American reworking starring Raymond Burr (Rear Window).

Wolf's Rain: Chapter 2 - Pact Of The Wolves
In some distant future, it's common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for 200 years. However, it seems this is false as wolves have not disappeared but rather have taken human form. Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the Lunar Flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the scent to paradise. The source of the smell is Cheza, a girl who sleeps in what appears to be suspended animation in a lab. She and the wolves are drawn to each other, and Kiba hopes to find paradise once he finds the source of the scent of Lunar Flowers. However, once Kiba finds Cheza, she is kidnapped by a mysterious person called Darcia, and his search begins anew. Before he leaves the city, he meets 3 other wolves, Tsume, Hige and Toboe. All four wolves have very different personalities and ideas, and their friendliness towards each other is a little rough around the edges. However, they soon band together to continue to search for paradise. Chapter 2: Pact Of Wolves With the wolves continuing their search for Paradise they quickly encounter great hardships as well as joys at the start of their journey. Kiba, Tsume, Hige and Toboe first find a way through a city where wolves work like dogs - but not before trying to instil some wolves pride in these fallen wolves! Elsewhere Darcia may have stolen the flower maiden from Freeze City before the wolves could get to her but her previous owner orders a retrieval team including Cher, the scientist in charge of studying Cheza, to open fire on Darcia's aircraft. Cheza seizes this chance to fall to the surface where she encounters Kiba and the rest of his group. With a whole retrieval team of soldiers chasing the flower maiden though, the wolves have no time to celebrate finding Cheza!
