Quintessential Reds Wine Gift Collection
With this popular gift set, you can sample six signature reds from the most famous wine regions in the world. For the wine adventurer in search of bold flavors, host your own taste-off to see how they compare. Each bottle is carefully chosen to represent the best example of red wine from its region. Wine Gift Collection Includes: France: Domaines Baron Rothschild Reserve Speciale Bordeaux Rouge From the region that perfected the red blend, this blend from Bordeaux, France illustrates a whole that's greater than the sum of its parts. It is generous, rich and full-flavored on the palate, with a long finish that hints at pepper and licorice. Italy: Frescobaldi Nipozzano Chianti Riserva Italy produces a wide variety of wines with naturally high acidity that lend themselves well to classic Italian fare. This Sangiovese has an almost-endless finish, with abundant aromatic fruit, completes a harmonious, well-balanced wine. Argentina: La Posta Pizzella Family Vineyard Malbec Once relegated to a small percentage of Bordeaux blends, Malbec now flourishes in the high altitude climate of Argentina. This classic Malbec shows dense dark berry and plum flavors along with hints of sandalwood and spice, and even a hint of violets in the finish. Chile: Santa Ema Selected Terroir Carmenere Emerging as Chile's own unique grape variety, Carmenere thrives in the country's warm, dry climate. This fabulous example of Carmenere consists of intense black fruits, such as black and blue berries with a touch of tobacco, red bell pepper and black pepper. Australia: Peter Lehmann Clancy's The most popular and most planted variety in Australia, Shiraz expresses the exuberant Australian spirit. Ice Straws
It's rumored that the first drinking straws were cut from dried wheat shaffs. But as our technology evolved, we moved on to better materials. Whoops! Okay, not at first. Wax-coated paper straws were pretty fail for long-term drinking. We eventually got things right with plastic straws and bendy straws. Oooh, and super fat bubble tea straws for sucking up giant tapioca beads. But as usual, we didn't think of the consequences: landfills full of red and white plastic straws, piles of refuse looking like giant porcupines. Save the planet and have cooler drinks with Ice Straws! The mold is made of food-grade silicone rubber and will quickly make six 8-inch straws of whatever liquid you like. Of course, we don't have to remind you, dear fans of chemistry, that alcohol doesn't freeze too well. We recommend water or juices to make the best frozen straws. Pop them out of the mold and into your drink and you'll have the coolest meltable straw on the block.
