The fascinating DUKWS vehicles were originally used in WWII and the Korean War, transporting troops and cargo across the waters straight onto land - exactly what you'll be doing! Famous sights to see include Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and The Ritz. The guide gives entertaining commentary, providing an alternative view of London's history, as well as some facts and figures about the DUKW (known as Duck) vehicle. Then after passing The Tate Gallery, dive into the Thames and swim up and down the river, before climbing up onto the streets of London towards Lambeth Palace and back to the starting point near the famous London Eye. Westminster, London Availability: Cruises to the Tower of London operate every day of the year except Christmas Day. The boats happily accommodate wheelchair users but be aware the Tower of London can only offer wheelchair access to The Jewel House and is otherwise restrictive.
