The summer has arrived and the warm temperatures have decidedly settled in. That means the usual Sundays spend lying in bed and watching endless Netflix episodes back to back can give place to funner activities…

And if you’re stuck on what it is exactly that you could be doing after your brunch in the sun, we have a list of unusual but super fun activities to do outdoors!

Take an outdoor yoga class! Yoga in a sweaty studio might not be your thing, but it’s a whole different experience doing downward dogs in a parc at sunset!

Rent a dog for the day and take it for a walk in a neighbourhood you’ve never been to before! You’ll be surprised how many other dog owners you befriend on the way…

Spend the night in a treehouse. This may seem completely unachievable but Airbnb actually has a ton of unusual places up to rent so you can finally live out your childhood dreams!Go for a tandem ride across the countryside with a friend or your significant other!

Watch an old-school film in an outdoor cinema. Whether you go to a drive-in cinema in a field or a to a huge screening on a rooftop in the middle of the city, this is sure to be a lot more fun that watching Netflix in bed…

Go to a market and challenge yourself to buying only foods you’ve never tasted before! You may end up discovering a whole new love for Ethiopian food!

Go to a silent disco cruise at night. Our personal recommendation is going to an organised boat party for a guaranteed fun night out!

Go swimming in a lake. Because it’s so much more enjoyable than spending your time in a pool filled with chlorine and crying children…

The summer has finally arrived which means it’s time to get out and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!! And because it’s been so long, some of us might need a bit of a reminder when it comes to finding fun things to do outdoors. Because sitting outside in a parc gets old after a while...

Luckily we made a list of 8 unusual but super fun activities that you can do to make the most out of your summer weekends!

Rent a tandem with a friend or your significant other and ride it across the countryside.

Watch a classic movie in an outdoor cinema. You can go on a rooftop, in a field or even to a drive-in cinema…

Try new types of food at a market by buying only things you’ve never tasted before! You may end up developing a passion for Brazilian tapioca crepes!

Go to a silent disco cruise at night. There’s tons of organised parties on boat and it’s guaranteed to be a fun night out!Jump and go for a swim in a lake. Because it’s so much more enjoyable than a swimming pool filled with chlorine and screaming children…

Take an outdoor yoga class! Whether you want to do it on a parc or a rooftop, the possibilities are endless.

This may seem like a winter thing, but painting your house actually requires you to open all windows so it’s definitely worth taking avantage of the warm temperatures to do some fun DIY at home!

Spend the night in a treehouse. Yes, it’s possible. Airbnb actually has many unusual places to rent, so get ready for a completely unexpected evening!

Now you have zero excuses to stay inside this weekend…

-Faites marcher vos contacts

We've always encouraged going on more exciting dates dinner and a movie, and we think it's time to amp it up. If you want the mood of your date to be sexy, risqué, and a little brazen, then we have just the date options for you! Read on to see how you can make your Valentine's Day date sensual af:

1) Be a tease:
If you wanna keep your date on your toes all night, you might have to try something a little bold. Put on some sexy lingerie under your outfit, and send him a picture of yourself in it just minutes before you meet. Make sure your date is then in widely public place, maybe even a party with all your friends there. He'll be dying to get you alone all night!

2) Play a game:
Keep things light and playful with a night full of your favourite board games. But then, make the stakes a little more scandalous by turning your game of Uno into a game of strip Uno instead. Trust us, this twist on board game night will bring our a whole new side of your competitiveness.

3) Get dirty before getting clean:
If you really wanna get hot and sweaty with your date, then take your partner for a hot yoga class, or any other workout that you can do together. Then, go back to someone's place and help each other cool off in the shower! Get clean (or get much dirtier) together in the shower, and you might just burn off more calories than you did at the workout!

Isn't the term 'Sunday Funday' just the most annoying, completely false term? Sunday, around 4 p.m. to be precise, we all sigh in unison. Sunday night fear is something we all fear, but often just turn into a jovial story, but it's a legitimate thing. Even science says so.

In 2013 Monster.com did a poll, where they found that 81% of American respondents said they get Sunday-night-blues, with 59% describing them as "really bad". Is there a solution? Well, there isn't a cure (apart from maybe eloping to Hawaii) but there are ways to reduce Sunday night anxiety.

Be Organised

This is a very boring tip, but arguably the most important. We all have that habit of letting off steam on Friday and Saturday, which means by Sunday we haven't done any of our admin or chores. Rather than leave it all to Sunday, space it out. An hour on Friday evening and Saturday day will make Sunday far less daunting. No one likes cleaning, paying bills or begrudgingly shuffling off to family events. But we have to do them. So just get them over with.

Be Sociable

We all want to avoid adult life on a Sunday, and usually spend it hungover in bed with a pizza box on one side of the bed and regret on the other. But get up, get over that hangover and see your friends. Having a pity party on Sunday is only going to make your mood worse. Don't go cray, because the only thing worse than Monday mornings are hungover Monday mornings, but do something active/fun. Grab brunch with your friends and then hit a yoga class.

Quit Your Job

This isn't any easy solution, but if you absolutely dread going to work every week, then you're in the wrong job. Work is work, but unless you do something you love or at least tolerate, then there's no point. We spend more time in the office then at home, so it has to be a place you enjoy. Life is too short.

Be Positive

Maybe the problem isn't the job, maybe it's you. If you've tried multiple careers and you still get this feeling, then you're either seriously unlucky or it's to do with your mental state. Saying be "positive" makes my blood boil, but the sentiment is there. Mindfulness apps, self-help books, therapy or simply talking about it with people you love- voicing what exactly your dreading and why will help you decide if it's the job, or you, or both. Basically, talking helps, it's cathartic.

Christmas time is a great excuse to overindulge. It's the one time of year when it's completely acceptable to have mince pies and prosecco before 10am. After a week of eating everything sweet, laced in butter and full of preservatives, drinking all the eggnog, mulled wine and champagne, we're all in need of a serious health kick. But where to start? Follow our handy guide below...

1. Set Realistic Resolutions

New Year's resolutions that are farfetched, like losing three stone in a few months or completely changing your diet, set you up for failure. Instead, set yourself smaller goals that are easier to accomplish, then build on them. Signing up to two yoga classes a week, drinking 1 litre more of water a day, eating your 5 a day.- you get the picture.

2. Try A New Sport

A good way to motivate yourself is to find something that's new, exciting and fun- slogging back to your usual gym routine won't give you that much needed post-Christmas buzz. Why no try Pure Barre, Zumba, kickboxing, step aerobics, basketball- the list is endless!

3. Focus On Your Mental Health, Too

A health kick means everything, not just physical. You won't be in a good place physically if you aren't mentally and vice versa. Christmas can send our mental heath into overdrive- the stress, hectic schedules and alcohol can be damaging. Recenter and focus on yourself, why not try an app like Headspace? It's great for giving you a few minuets of calm each day. A new year is a great time to reprioritise- put yourself first, open up to loved ones, get out of damaging situations. These are all easier said than done, I know, but setting goals is a good start.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
