It’s wedding season and whether or not your calendar’s jam packed or you just have one or two special events to attend, now’s the time to give your occasionwear line-up a boost…

Now, you could opt for a selection of affordable dresses to rock at these weddings, or you could invest in one or two really special pieces to ensure you dazzle in every photo. We recommend the latter – after all, there are a hundred ways to style one designer dress.

Investing in a designer dress, bag or pair of shoes means you can mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe, never turn up in the same outfit twice and elevate every look in the process.

One of the hottest pieces to own right now is a kimono. Dating back to 14th century Japan, the robe-style jacket has been a street style favorite in recent years and shows no signs of letting up. Although there are  a wide array of lengths, patterns and fabrics ranging from casual to luxe printed silk, a kimono has the power to  instantly jazz up your outfit without much effort.

Our Editors have agreed on the four ways you’ll want to wear your kimono this summer so take note, fashion fans...

Go simple

Choose a pair of high-waisted jeans, a basic tee and throw on your kimono of choice. Pair your outfit with mules or Greek-style sandals for undeniable summer wow factor.

Go tonal

Don your favorite shade of cover-up and opt for a  tonal color from head to toe. No denim necessary, just rock your go-to hue. For the beach

For a great holiday look simply wear your kimono over a one-piece swimsuit and pair it with slides, an XXL beach bag and your signature sunnies.

Do stripes

Don't be afraid to experiment with different prints and patterns. A striped cover-up is your go-to as an alternative office jacket. Pair it with slim fit pants, a blouse, a wicker bag and sunnies for an effortlessly cool look.

Ready to try the kimono trend this summer? Discover our favorites in the exclusive edit below...

It’s been 20 years since Princess Diana's death yet her undisputed elegance and inimitable sense of style still wow the world. Her iconic collection of garments includes Victor Edelstein's unforgettable pink velvet gown, famously worn at the White House when the Princess danced with John Travolta, and that striking wedding dress that will forever go down in history.

The truly fascinating thing about the Princess' style is that even today you'll find it to be quite relevant. Sure, we may have said goodbye to shoulder pads but mom jeans, polka dot dresses and baseball jackets are very much on trend and are all elements that defined her classic sense of style.

Check our list of her most iconic looks in the gallery and scroll below to recreate her style for yourself…

This is without a doubt my favourite Coachella Street Style look of all the ones I've seen - and there are A LOT. Coachella ootds are all over Instagram but this one has to be the best. I just love how amazingly curated this looks. The double denim for starters is just great. The aspect that stands out the most has to be the crocheted shorts that perfectly coordinate with the fringing on the jacket. I mean, just wow - what a Coachella look. Image: Getty Images

Happy International Women’s Day! Today we celebrate women’s achievements while calling on gender equality. However, this International Women's Day is especially significant, coming on the heels of unprecedented movement for women’s rights, equality and justice.

From the rise of #MeToo movement to the #TimesUp campaign against sexual harassment following the scandals in Hollywood, the need for change is omnipresent. In January, the second annual women’s march took large cities across the globe by storm, while in the UK specifically, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the British women’s right to vote.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2018 is #PressForProgress. The day is meant to bring together global governments, women's organisations, businesses and charities together and will be marked with talks, performances, rallies, networking events and marches.

Key events include the annual Women of the World (WOW) Festival at the Southbank centre while Penguin Publishing will launch a pop-up bookstore featuring solely female authors. The Like a Woman Bookshop will be open from 5-9 March, with categories like ‘Essential feminist reads’, ‘Inspiring young readers’, ‘Women to watch’ and ‘Changemakers’.

So this International Women's Day pick up your favourite feminist read, sport a powerful slogan tee, indulge in a day of pampering and remember to support and empower women. Not just today but every day of the year! Throw on some Beyonce while you're at it, too.

Head to our gallery for more inspiration and shop your favourite items from our list below!

Wow. We’re going to start by analysing Lawrence’s look at a photocall for her new thriller ‘Red Sparrow’ earlier this week objectively before we weigh in on the sexist row it provoked. Because we haven’t seen such a figure-flaunting, spotlight-stealing LBD since Liz Hurley’s vintage Versace safety pin dress in 1994; a point that’s been widely made by #10;http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5412753/Jennifer-Lawrence-steals-style-Elizabeth-Hurley.html

And even though the Oscar winner’s dress is also by Versace doesn’t have the same punkish hardware, talk about bootylicious! Lawrence defines her hourglass figure and shows off all of her assets at once thanks to plunging neckline and thigh high slit confidently and shamelessly. Kudos to her for that. Accompanied by smoky eyes, a single gold bracelet, single strap heels and unexpectedly windswept hair, she looks amazing.

The look is problematic for some, however, because Lawrence’s showing an awful lot of skin for a windy winter’s day and her male co-stars were well-wrapped up in comparison. To them, the situation seems to reinforce sexist stereotypes the #TimesUp movement is trying to dispel, despite the dress being black. New Statesman’s deputy editor Helen Lewis tweeted “This is such a quietly depressing (and revealing) image… True equality mean either Jennifer Lawrence getting a coat, or Jeremy Irons having to pose for a photocell in assless chaps” which subsequently went viral. But Lawrence herself gave the best clapback in a lengthy Facebook statement where she asserted her right to wear whatever she wants. “This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended. That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I'm going to cover that gorgeous dress up with a coat and a scarf?” Touché. A woman after our own hearts. We’re loving Lawrence’s body confidence at the moment as this outfit follows the incredible plunging metallic gown she wore at the London premiere.
