These outfits are just wow! They are like something from a whole other time period, and yet they still make a statement now. Naomi, Rhianna and Iman all wear Balmain and look absolutely stunning, not to mention like powerful women. I'm loving the khaki green, and gold and black as they are colours that really compliment each other. #Balmain #khaki #gold Credit: mefeater Instagram

If you work between 10:30-12:30pm on weekdays, you might not know who Holly Willoughby is so let us enlighten you. The pretty blonde presents brunch TV show ‘This Morning’ adding glamour to mundane topics with her knockout day-to-day style. Tonal two pieces, chic coats and a penchant for pleated skirts and nude heels, she’s, thankfully, a prolific instagrammer too so you can tap and shop her tagged looks as soon as she’s worn them. But her covetable high-low mix of high street to designer pieces never stay in-store for long, much like the Kate Middleton or Megan Markle effect.

Willoughby’s appeal stems from her ‘normal’ figure, well more pilates honed these days, as she showcases how to flatter hourglass shapes while staying on trend. From high-waisted trousers to pencil skirts and swishy skirts- topped with a tight top- she flaunts her favourite features and looks fabulous doing it. She’s great workwear inspiration as she’s always chicly demure by day (to not offend the masses) and more daring at night- hence the wow-factor Ashish rainbow sequin dress she wore on Jonathan Ross. Dressing for TV is hard, given the camera supposedly adds 10 pounds and there seems to be an unwritten rule that female newsreaders wear sheath dresses, but Willoughby nails it every time aided by her stylist Angie Smith (and a tailor we’d wager).

We can’t wait to follow her outfit trajectory in 2018 and in the meantime, shop our edit below to recreate some of Willoughby’s best looks from this year.

Hair colours are changing each day. Each day we wake up to a different ‘trendy’ hair colour. I’ve recently coloured mine burgundy and now I woke up to new saying cinnamon hair is on trend. I was more ecstatic than ever since I’d hit the bullseye without even knowing. Cinnamon is a dark ginger colour that gives the shine and wow to your hair. It looks black under dark light and brick red under light. This is a very subtle yet also very statement making hair colour. If you’re not that brave, like me, to completely change your dark hair, a cinnamon colour may suit your liking. #hairstyle #hairtrend #haircolour #hair #beauty #trend #fashion

This picture right here is what cool winter outfits is all about. The girls are wearing cute long sleeve tops perfect for chill weathers, but on the bottom is where the fun of this outfit begin. The fabulous vinyl pants on the brunette and the metalized pants on the blonde bring a wow factor to the outfit that is very appropriate for party season. Would you wear those pants? I really like this smokey eye look, but what I love about the makeup is the gold eyeshadow on the teardrop. I think that you can add a cool eyeshadow colour on the inner corner of your eyes, like a cobalt, a forest green or a fiery red to give that extra wow factor to any smokey eye look this party season. We’ll take “earspiration” from anywhere at this point as the statement earring’s fashion renaissance is only getting bigger and better. The best source we’ve seen, and our current Instacrush, is @earafterear by DVF’s Senior Content Director Tilly Macalister-Smith (final picture above). The captivating feed the now New York based ex British Vogue staffer expertly curates features beautiful images of the world’s most creative and covetable earrings from jewellers past and present. Exquisite chandlers, jagged shards of metal, artsy hoops- it’s a sight to behold and very bad news for your credit card.

What’s clear is that size doesn’t really matter when it comes to earrings; even the smallest ones can have the wow-factor if visible and there's so much admirable craftsmanship. The must-follow account also spotlights the lobes and the jewellery collections of some of your favourite editors and streetstyle stars like Pandora Sykes and The Sunday Times Fashion Director Jane McFarland; while bringing incredible finds to your attention as Macalister-Smith’s discovers them.

Judging by the Ear After Ear website linked in the bio, an e-store is on the horizon but in the meantime, shop our exciting earring edit below to create your own ear party!

With Christmas fast approaching we want to make sure we completely immerse in pure holiday spirit. That admittedly means more than your typical Christmas decorations! This season is after all about coming together, about community, sharing, and spending quality time with family and friends. It's also a great time for a guest room makeover. Especially when leaving abroad this is the time when family tends to visit and it's almost definite that you'd like to impress them.

This year we suggest you take the time to truly invest strategically in a few purchases that will make your home instantly Christmas guest ready!

One of the most common pre-holiday purchases are the dining sets and holiday-specific china that will make your hard-prepped meals  look even more delicious.

Invest in lighting. Think of a 'wow' lighting piece such as a #ff0000">chandelier or a #ff0000">floor lamp that can easily give character and ambiance to your flat but is also very practical.

If you don't already own a guest bed you should invest in a proper #ff0000">sofa bed that can accommodate all of your guests.

Finally, if you don't have the budget to invest in expensive items than it's worthwhile splurging on a few decorative pieces such as #ff0000">plates, flatware and #ff0000">glassware. Go the extra mile and add an impressive center piece and stylish placemats! Voila! Your Christmas home makeover is done.

Head to our gallery for more inspiration and select your favorite items from our edit below!

This @azzedinealaiaiofficial acetate knit halter and corset strapped skirt is just wow! Worn by Gail O'Neal for Vogue's May 1986 issue. It was classy then and is still classy now. #red #hot #Vogue Credit: British Vogue

Almost 20 years since Princess Diana's death her undisputed elegance and inimitable sense of style still wow the world. In fact, Kensington Palace has dedicated an exhibition entitled 'Diana: Her Fashion Story', featuring some of her most iconic looks. This extraordinary collection of garments includes Victor Edelstein's unforgettable pink velvet gown, famously worn at the White House when the Princess danced with John Travolta.

The truly fascinating thing about the Princess' style is that even today you'll find it to be quite relevant. Sure, we may have said goodbye to the ginormous shoulder pads of the 80's but mom jeans, polka dot dresses and baseball jackets are very much on trend and are all elements that defined her classic sense of style.

Check our list of her most iconic looks in the gallery and scroll below to recreate her style!
