So this is summer, eh? Muggy climate, thunderstorms and torrential rain- marvellous! There's something very British about how unpredictable the weather has been recently, not least because it has thrown our seasonal dressing schedule completely off kilter.

Wellingtons are now a must to get through the week and whilst you're at it, invest in a decent summer mac. Perfect for the upcoming festival season, you can get some practice in beforehand on your daily commute!

Shop our edit below, all under £55! Score. (Euro 2016 reference...go me!)

Coachella may seem like a distant memory now, but with festival season about to kick off in the UK, we thought now was the perfect time to put together our go to style guide.

So what are the big trends we spied in Cali? Well, the traditional festival wear is still popular (think going OTT on everything) but it was a bit more refined this year.

Take Kendall & Chiara Ferragni's looks; both wore Princess Leia inspired hair buns, which were playful and fun, but their outfits (a crochet dress and a denim dress respectively) were bang on point style wise.

Don't panic- the accessories are still as kitsch as ever! Bright sunglasses, glitter, bindis, scarves, chokers and even shag bands made a reappearance this year, which we're sure will be in plentiful supply come Glasto, Wireless and V.

Ooo, just thinking about it gets us excited! Get ahead of the game and shop the top festival trends in our edit below...

Take home something for the holiday season; the Moschino Hallow flats in shimmering silver and Kat Maconie Valerie pumps with metallic pink platforms are quite the shoes for making a festive party statement.

Depending on your point of view, summer is still going strong or winter has arrived and the thermals are fully on. I fall into the second category, for the simple fact that A/W fashion is just so much cooler.

Gorgeous coats, tights in every shade imaginable, chunky knits - oh and the piece de resistance - amazing winter boots.

Whether you like my way of thinking or not, you can't deny, there's nothing better than getting your your new season boots and this year there are more styles than ever to choose from!

Over the knee boots, ankle boots, knee high boots, riding boots, chelsea boots, cowboy boots, UGG boots and lace up boots are all HUGE trends for autumn.

Where does one start? Well, by checking out our exclusive edit below, where we have picked the best pieces to buy right now.

Your next step is figuring out how you will tell your Bank Manager just why you are in your overdraft this month after you buy them all. Sorry, but they are really that good!

London Fashion Week kicks off today with its showing for SS16 and we are getting giddy at the thought of it here at Shopcade HQ.

Sure, it's 5 days of little sleep, surviving on coffee and pro plus with blisters the size of melons on your feet, but it's fashion week... no pain, no gain and I'm nothing if not realistic about the highs and lows!

Here's our guide to the 5 shows to watch out for this season...

1. Burberry Prorsum: The hottest ticket in town with good reason; a killer FROW, the hottest models and a collection which can spark a global trend. Need we mention the blanket cape?

2. Versus: Announced in January, this is one of the most anticipated debuts at this season's fashion week. Expect a major FROW, plenty of flesh on show and some turns from some famous faces on the runway.

3. Topshop Unique: Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and Jourdan Dunn sat FROW in Feb and the show brought social and London to a standstill. This season you will be able to shop the FROW the day after. Nothing like catwalk to closet in one swift move.

4. Hunter: After an exceptionally beautiful and dramatic showing from Creative Director Alasdhair Willis (Stella McCartney's hubby no less) in February, expect a lighter, more playful vibe for their SS16 offering. After all, the great British weather ensures we need wellies all year round!

5. Ashish: A must for true fashion rebels; every season this becomes more of an event rather than just a show. Last season he brought out everyone's animalistic side- plenty of fur and sequins, with a healthy dose of sex. How does one follow that? Well, we don't have long to wait until we find out!

The biggest festival in the world kicks off today and as the masses descend on Glasto for another year of raving, drinking, complaining oh and not bathing for five days straight, we take a look back at some of the best celeb styles rocked over the years...

10. Lily Allen: She never disappoints with a wardrobe both classy and trashy. Her coloured hair and Lazy Oaf watermelon shorts were the perfect choice for last year's sun fest.

9. Fearne Cotton: Now a yummy mummy, Fearne's off the wall style made her an icon for teens and twenty-somethings alike. This multicoloured Shrimps scarf? Yeah, a sell out.

8. Florence Welch: Ripped to pieces for replacing the Foo Fighters as the headline act this year, we think she gets a pretty bad rap. Who else could make this hippy look fly? Exactly.

7. Millie Mackintosh: Floral crowns have had their day, but how cute does Millie look here in her khaki jacket and her "I believe in free love" headband?!

6. Alexa Chung: She went all spiritual for Coachella in a floaty lace dress, but Alexa likes to slum it in Hunters and her trusty Barbour wax jacket for the Brit festivals.

5. Daisy Lowe: A lover of lace and leather, Daisy and her fave accessory Nick Grimshaw always make a stylish pair on the muddy fields of Glasto.

4. Rita Ora: Say what you want about this serial boob flasher, she knows how to rock a skintight jumpsuit, feather boa or turban with aplomb.

3. Cressida Bonas: Last year we couldn't get enough of her- dungarees, metallic bomber jackets and endless scrunchies- she was the 'cool princess' in waiting. Alas since the break up, she's gone all upmarket and now has a deal with Mulberry no less. Sad face.

2. Sienna Miller: The great pretender of 2004, Sienna was often compared to Kate, but we loved this dress, belt and neon ski glasses combo she sported in her boho days.

1. Kate Moss: The undisputed Queen of Glasto, only Kate could wear a piece of mesh sans bra with a belt or a waistcoat teamed with denim hot pants and still look incredibly cool.
