When we’re on the lookout for new-season pieces from cutting-edge brands there’s usually one store that springs to mind. W Concept is our go-to for anything from high-end streetwear to IT-bags and to our delight, their new-season lines have just dropped...

Suiting is huge for fall – you only need to check the coverage from this month’s Fashion Week Events to see that – so naturally, we’ve got our eye on the Drama Collection by FRONTROW, a tailored line-up crafted using innovative tech fabric.

The label has applied its flair for garment technology to a collection of cool, androgynous pieces for season ahead – think sleek pants, statement blazers and block-color separates as seen all over the style set’s Instagram feeds.

The Drama Collection is all about boyfriend styles so expect ultra-flattering cuts in lightweight stretch-fabric that hang perfectly on the body. No bunching, no draping, just cool oversized jackets and a choice of slim, flared or voluminous pants.

Classic gray and black, rust-toned brick and autumnal camel tap into this season’s biggest color trends, meaning it’s easy to mix and match these simple separates to turn your look up or down.

There’s nothing cooler than a woman in a well-fitting suit, so we’re taking cues from cool ‘70s layering and androgynous ‘80s styling to raise our game this season.

The runways at London Fashion Week didn't fail to dazzle, though that was largely due to the sheer scale of the accessories showcased for SS19. Chandelier earrings, glittering necklaces and heavily embellished bags featured across the board.

With the coming season's trends firmly established, we've rounded up a list of the pieces you'll be seeing everywhere and what to invest in now...

Pearls and gemstones

That's right, forget your dainty gold chains and simple cuff bracelets because maximalism is on its way and it'll be sticking around for a little while. Oversized pearl earrings and shoes and bags adorned with crystals a lá Gucci and Chanel are where it's at.

Tinted glasses

Big '70s style lenses were huge this summer and they'll continue to reign well into next year. Statement sunnies will be every shade of the rainbow with tinted lenses being one of the biggest accessories trends for the seasons ahead.

Granny bags

We've always loved a granny bag and now that it's perfectly acceptable, if not cool to rock a beaded bag or mini crochet number, we're digging our favourites out and stocking up on new handbag styles. If it's kitsch or cute, send it our way.

One of the best things about fall is picking a new pair of boots. But which to choose? The decision can be tricky, so we’ve rounded up this year's hottest boot trends. These are the styles you’re about to see everywhere...

Most wanted

Thanks to the likes of Calvin Klein and Chloé, cowboy boots are having a serious moment. Influencers are wearing Western styles with everything from printed dresses to denim, and they’ve never looked cooler.

Go wild

You probably know by now that animal print is going to be huge, but the easiest way to wear it is on a pair of boots. Whether you choose faux snakeskin or a leopard-print pair, they’ll add an instant rock ‘n’ roll edge to any outfit. Show them off by rolling up the cuffs of your jeans.

Made for walking

The fall equivalent of this year’s sought-after ‘dad’ sneakers? Hiking boots. That’s right – practical walking shoes are officially cool, and our feet are so thankful for it. The trick to nailing this trend is balancing the chunky shape with a feminine dress.

On point

Balenciaga’s ‘Knife’ boots are a cult favorite on the street style scene, and now sharp point-toe styles are everywhere. Look for high-shine patent leather or sleek burgundy hues and use them to dress up relaxed denim.

London is known for being the most experimental of all of the Fashion Week cities – with so many up-and-coming designers on the schedule, there’s always a collection to suit every style. Now that autumn is upon us, we’ve rounded up the top trends we spotted at LFW that you’re about to see everywhere...

Corduroy

Meet the most unexpected trend of the season: Roland Mouret, Erdem and Emilia Wickstead gave corduroy a whole new look with pretty shades and feminine silhouettes – try a midi skirt or flared trousers to take it into the evening.

Sequins

Sequinned pieces for party season may not sound groundbreaking, but the LFW runways were awash with shimmering designs. Look to Temperley London, Halpern and Toga for inspiration, and try an ‘80s-inspired shape to tick off two trends in one.

Tartan

Checks were all over the AW18 runways, but London’s had a punk feel to them. Simone Rocha and House of Holland both showed head-to-toe tartan looks, and we predict you’re about to see a whole lot more of them on your favourite influencers.

Rainbow stripes

Christopher Bailey’s final collection for Burberry was a tribute to PRIDE, but it wasn’t the only show that was dominated by rainbow hues – Ashish and Osman also presented bold multicolored pieces, from striped trousers to embellished dresses.

Blanket coats

Perhaps the most practical trend for autumn, blanket dressing was a key theme throughout the London shows. From Rokanda’s checked wraps to Delpozo’s furry asymmetric styles, these cosy cover-ups will be the coolest way to stay warm this winter.

Though the summer runway offered us oversized jewelry, seashell-inspired silhouettes and mixed metals, AW is toning things down a little with the biggest trends set to be a lot more delicate and decidedly more minimalist...

Layers on layers

Layered accessories had a serious moment in summer 2018 and from the looks of things the trend isn't going anywhere. Group necklaces, bangles and rings of different lengths, textures and weights together to nail the look.

Delicate chains

Forego your chunky chains in favour of barely there chains adorned with pendants and charms. Layer these up or wear a long chain solo with a lightweight knit for a subtle hint of sparkle.

Cosmic power

Suns, moons, stars... the cosmos is all the rage. Pendants, studs and rings inspired by the heavens are set to reign supreme this fall.

Rose gold

Reflect fall's warm color palette with glossy rose gold pieces. Mix them with your staples or opt for simple rose gold hoops and bangles from the likes of style set favourites like Tous and Monica Vinader.

This military colour is more than just to style with camouflage patterns. Khaki has more potential than you think! Pair them with yellows or reds to see its power in play. Khaki styles look very luxurious if styled well. Even though Autumn colour trends are all jazzy and bold, khaki is the perfect pair for these bright colours! #khaki #colour #fashion #camouflage #trend #streetstyle #style

Okay, so checks may be nothing new – they’ve been a staple in autumn wardrobes for as long as we can remember – but this season, street style stars have gone wild for them. From heritage houndstooth to Prince of Wales and plaid, there’s not one single check that wasn’t seen on the AW18 runway.

There are endless ways to wear this trend, so we’ve done the hard work for you and picked out our favourite checked pieces for the new season – here’s how to wear them...

Go monochrome

If head-to-toe patterns aren’t your thing, make like influencer Lucy Williams and keep the look low-key with black checked trousers – keep them cropped and team them with a camel knit and ankle boots for a modern take.

Keep it classic

Fact: a checked wool coat or blazer is always going to look cool. Our tip? Choose a slightly oversized silhouette for a look that feels more fresh.

Suit up

Checked tailoring was a key trend on the AW runways – see Balenciaga and Stella McCartney. If you’re going for a suit, just be sure to choose a relaxed fit and balance the look with sneakers or slides.

Ready to shop for the new season but overwhelmed by all the trends? Don’t worry – we’ve rounded up the best looks from London Fashion Week, along with our favourite AW18 pieces.
Modern military

It’s not unusual for military pieces to appear on the AW runway, but Belstaff’s collection was a fresh take on the trend. We loved the printed hoodies worn with double-breasted coats and zipped cargo pants.

Reworked classics

For AW18, Burberry gave its iconic pieces a contemporary update: see the oversized trench coats, rainbow logo-embroidered sweatshirts and checked baseball caps.

Tonal tailoring

Loved for its pared-back minimalism, Joseph’s autumn collection did not disappoint. A standout look consisted of clean brown tailoring worn with a sharp camel coat.

Utility cool

JW Anderson’s show combined menswear and womenswear, but each had an effortless utilitarian feel. We predict the graphic knit sweaters and relaxed khaki pants will be an instant hit.

Industrial outerwear

Not only were the coats and jackets at Christopher Raeburn incredibly cool, they were also constructed from recycled materials. Look out for the checked wool pieces made from Russian navy blankets.

Asymmetric shapes

Chalayan’s deconstructed designs made ordinary wardrobe staples feel completely unique – check out the cut-out trousers and cleverly folded coats in the line-up.

Heritage checks

You can always count on Margaret Howell to deliver timeless pieces that will transcend seasons – for example, the checked shirts and Prince of Wales tailoring seen on the runway.

Retro refresh

‘70s references could be spotted throughout Oliver Spencer’s show, but in the most understated way: see the corduroy and velvet trousers and shearling jackets.

Sports luxe

Sportswear has become a fixture on the runway, and it’s not going anywhere fast. Band of Outsiders mixed retro tracksuits with smart tailoring for a fresh take on the trend.

Go graphic

Bold logo prints are still dominating the street style circuit, and it looks like they’re sticking around for another season. Cottweiler’s final look was an oversized T-shirt embroidered with the Natural History Museum’s name – also the location of the label's show.

Now that September's here and New York Fashion Week has graced us once again, it’s time to reflect on the trends we saw on the runways and get excited about wearing them in real life. Here’s our round-up of the top ten trends we loved at NYFW and the ones you'll be seeing everywhere...

Animal print

Already spotted on our favorite street style stars, animal prints ruled the New York runways. Tom Ford’s came in every shape and color you could imagine, but classic leopard patterns still dominate – see Victoria Beckham’s timeless coats.

Western boots

From slouchy over-the-knee shapes to classic cowboy styles, plenty of Western boots were worn on the runway this season. Whichever you choose, show them off with cropped denim or maximalist dresses.

Checks

They may be nothing new, but checks are about to have a major moment. Michael Kors and Calvin Klein 205W39NYC both showed punk-inspired tartan coats – we’ll be wearing them with denim and chunky boots.

Logomania

Logo prints have ruled the street style circuit for several seasons now, and they’re not going anywhere – Alexander Wang’s embellished tracksuits and Tom Ford’s sequined sweatshirts are proof if proof were ever needed.

Neon

Already championed by Kim Kardashian, neon brights popped up everywhere. We loved Calvin Klein’s industrial-style jackets and Tibi’s fluorescent sweaters teamed with low-key camel tailoring.

‘70s brown

Coach and Self-Portrait both showed plenty of ‘70s-inspired brown hues, proving the trend has serious staying power. Try a belted coat or midi dress for a timeless feel.

Colorful suiting

Navy and black will no longer do – suits this season came in every color possible. From candy pinks to pastel blues, any shade goes as long as you’re wearing it from head to toe.

‘80s maximalism

Tom Ford proved the ‘80s are here to stay for another season with purple leopard-print leggings, sequins and shoulder pads.

Modern sports

Sportswear is now a staple on the runway, and this season it came in sleek silhouettes with industrial details – think quilted nylon midi skirts and oversized drawstring pants.

The new utility

Military-inspired pieces make their way onto the catwalk every fall, and with good reason: a classic double-breasted coat or khaki jacket will never go out of style.
