With yet another fashion month behind us we bracefully look into the future and the next season trends. With minimalistic in New York, Milan went bold, while London and Paris kept a balance between glitter mania and minimal fresh makeup. More specifically we've seen everything from simplistic to shimmering, and rhinestone studded makeup.

GLITTER, GLITTER

The most predominant beauty trend that emerged from Fashion month was glitter. Make up artists truly found innovative ways to add a little sparkle to the models skin. Apart from shiny lip balm, glitter eyelids at Stella Jean and Topshop we were mesmerised by the stick-on stones at Givenchy, Jeremy Scott and Dries Van Noten. One thing is for sure: In SS18 we're going to shine!

GLOWING SKIN

As we all know the foundations of a great make up routine is the base, the treatments to offer a youthful clear glowing complexion. And no we're not talking about age here. At Vercace the original supermodels Naomi, Cindy and Claudia showed us how it's done. While Isabel Marant and Bottega Venetta focused on clear skin and Issey Miyake revealed the ultimate youth trick: pinkish primer around cheekbones and the eyes.

LIPS THAT POP

Cherry blossom is the perfect example for the tonal colour on our lips for SS18. Bright and beautiful that was the choice of hue at Max Mara Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.

BRIGHT EYES

Electro-pop eyes were all the rage at Missoni in orange, pink and aquamarine while at Marni the tendency was absolutely aquatic: blues, greens and deep turquoises. Think Kylie Minogue circa 2001.

CROPED BOB & FRINGES

The cropped bob is here to stay apparently and the accompanying fringes are also trending but not in the severe Anna Wintour fashion but mostly sweeping like Tom Ford. Fendi took it one step further by adding bright hairflips in blue, green and petrol.

Ready to rock the hair and beauty trends of the new season? Then snatch all the beauty essentials from our edit below!

The weather has shifted and we're officially entering -dare we say it- winter. Which means it's time to invest on a few key items like a light leather jacket, a parka and a going out more sleek coat. Biker jackets are perfect for days out with girlfriends, or a afterwork drinks paired with a skirt and ankle boots - assimilating that rocker chic vibe.

Shearling jackets are quite similar in function - meaning they 're the go-to jacket for Autumn and give out a slightly more classic vibe. You can pair it with anything from leggings and trainers on your way to the gym or with your favourite party dress on a night out. If you're looking for a proper GOC you need something elegant with slim elongating lines that skim the floor. Pick one with a fastened belt to accentuate your waist.

If there's one coat though that is going to stick by you through thick and thin, rain and snow, mud and cold that is the parka. An added faux fur in the hoodie will instantly give it an ultra feminine and chic element adding many points of oomph to a very hardwearing jacket. Practical and stylish is really the best of both worlds.

Budgeting for jackets can be tough so we thought we'd treat you to a little sale! From luxe shearling coats at M&S to faux fur parkas from Topshop, extra cool biker jackets at Boohoo and elegant long check coats we definitely have something for you.

TOPSHOP up to 50% off, offer ends October 20th

M&S up to 60% off, offer ends October 13th

Ralph Lauren up to 20% off, offer ends October 11th

Boohoo up to 50% off, offer ends October 10th

One of the strongest trends for SS17 that has well moved into this Fall is the check pattern and a very vast array of its variations: from small to bigger checks, plaids, houndstooth, and gingham the pattern will be embellishing our autumn/ winter outfits as it's proving to be one of this season's must-haves. It's a pattern statement that we've found across shirts, to tops, skirts, dresses and of course blazers. There's nothing more 70's and 80's chic than a smart check blazer channeling our inner working girl.

You can opt for a wonderful Stella Coat from MATCHESFASHION.com, a Prince of Wales blazer courtesy of Mango, or an incredibly versatile Jumpsuit from Topshop. You can find them in neutral hues and earthy tones that are complementary to most wardrobes and are insanely easy to match!

Pair a checked top with denim or suit trousers, and don your check jacket or coat over a sleek smart dress. Whatever your mood you're bound to make a statement!

Browse through our selection and take your pick below!

As we close on yet another brilliant London Fashion Week we round up the most fashionable, jaw dropping and exquisitely chic moments of the past few days. LFW which opened on Friday, has featured more than 100 designers and included high profile shows.

For example, it was the first time Giorgio Armani had staged a catwalk event in London for more than 10 years. The 83-year-old designer said he had chosen London "for its "dynamism, energy and cosmopolitanism".

Donatella Versace showcased her younger range, Versus, which featured plenty of checks, bikinis and cowgirl-themed pieces. It wouldn't be London Fashion Week without a bit of avant garde. Hussein Chalayan's models took to the catwalk in very unusual and surreal headdresses.

As usual, London Fashion week attracted the rich, famous and, of course, beautiful - model Daisy Lowe arrived wearing a blue kimono, accompanied by her much-loved pooch. But it hasn't been glamour all the way. Dozens of anti-fur protestors gathered ahead of shows including Burberry. Speaking of Burberry the check pattern is now back minus the cheesy associations of the early naughts. This was all due to the brilliant styling that infused a new feel to the brand: look out for mismatched earrings. Christopher Bailey also followed in the footsteps of Dior and curated an exhibition in conjunction with the show - opening the brand to a much wider audience.
#222222">
#222222">On the other hand, designer Gareth Pugh’s creations were informed by the "inescapable forces of the cultural landscape" as he described them. Pugh's collection, took place at an old music hall in north London, to abide by the "ambiguous and troubling" overall feel.
#222222">
#222222">One of the most anticipated collections was without a doubt came from Topshop that followed the see-now, buy-now principle allowing items to be directly shoppable immediately after the catwalk show, on Topshop.com. The show was a vintage Soho inspired extravaganza featuring old school coats, crystal details and wonderful metallics. British supermodel Jourdan Dunn closed Topshop's show in a barely-there chiffon maxi dress complete with the ubiquitous ruffles that have been a theme across the week. You can snap your own party girl look from £39, with the upper echelon reaching £395.
#222222">
#222222">We couldn’t do a LFW round up without mentioning Molly Goddard who employed her usual orb dresses of smocked tulle in inky black and smocked cotton but this season she added a more slinky, conventionally sexy silhouette in orange, embellished with sequins while presenting a series of cotton bell-shaped dresses and skirts. Her real strength though relied on her unexpected styling. The models wore practical flat boots, black brogues or else went barefoot. The models hopped from one platform to the next while doing a series of poses from the peace sign to Eddie Campbell dragging ample amounts of cigarette smoke.
