Emma Stone is back in this year's anticipated film: Battle of The Sexes. Based on a true story and set in 1972, the movie highlights the topical gender pay gap, at a time when the United States Lawn Tennis Association had announced a new prize fund offering eight times less for women.

In the film, 29-year-old King is tired of the gender inequality in a sport where women were so shockingly deemed inferior as a means to justify the wage gap. This fuels her ambition to launch the Women's Tennis Association in order to provide an equal working space for women. This irritates most male players including ex-pro Bobby Riggs, played by Steve Carell, who challenges her to the most proficient test: a match or battle of the sexes which in his mind will prove that women are in fact inferior and thus deserve a lesser pay.

Apart from the women's issues and serious Oscar buzz, the film is filled with exquisite 70s fashion moments! Emma wears some amazing geek chic glasses throughout the film, with 70s flared jeans and a pink shirt. This week, the actress attended the premiere wearing a white Tom Ford dress with chain straps, white heels and a statement gold clutch bag. We've recreated a couple of Emma's looks below!

Battle of the Sexes will be released in the UK on 22 November.

One of the most anticipated movies of the season is Battle of The Sexes starring Emma Stone and Steve Carell. The movie is based on the true story of female tennis player Billie Jean King who faced Bobby Riggs in a nationally televised exhibition match.

Refusing to let male misogyny dominate the courts. In the film, 29-year-old King is tired of the gender inequality in a sport where women were so shockingly deemed inferior as a means to justify the wage gap. So King, who had just won the 1972 US Open, finds out that the United States Lawn Tennis Association has announced a new prize fund, offering eight times less for women. This fuels her ambition to launch the Women's Tennis Association in order to provide an equal working space for women.

This irritates most male players including ex-pro Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell) who challenges her to the most proficient test - a match or battle of the sexes which in his mind will prove that women are in fact inferior and thus deserve a lesser pay. Directing duo Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine) have recounted these events in Battle of the Sexes

Movie goers should be prepared for everyday sexism casually falling out of almost every male character’s mouth (“It’s not your fault, it’s biology!”)

Apart from the women's issues and serious Oscar buzz, the film is filled with exquisite 70s fashion moments. Fro the perfect tennis outfits, wide legged jeans and extra geek chic glasses taking centre stage throughout. Look in our exclusive edit below on how to get the look!

Battle of the Sexes will be released in the US on 22 November.

If you haven't been living under a rock recently you must have caught this trend of the ten step Korean skin care routine. We know that ten steps seem like a lot of work, but it's total exaggeration we hear! You don't have to barge in this ten step commitment straight away. Keep the basics and opt for a 5 step regimen to start with. If you want to follow this routine to a T and acquire the enviable skin of a Korean princess here are the ten steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Oil Cleanser

Apply this to dry skin in order to remove makeup and any other oil-based product remainders. You might need proper make up remover for heavy makeup though.

Step 2: Foam Cleanser

As you might have guessed an oil-cleanser is not enough. You need a foam water-based cleanser in order to remove impurities. Make sure you cleanse it twice for a squeaky clean skin surface.

Step 3: Exfoliator

Exfoliation is a vital part of the process as it thoroughly cleans clogged pores that you wouldn't be able to reach differently. It's also a great way to get rid of dead skin. This step is not recommended for daily use, especially if you have sensitive skin. But if you a have a tougher complexion you can try exfoliating up to 3 times per week.

Step 4: Toner

After you have cleansed and scrubbed the skin thoroughly it will be cleaner but quite fragile and in desperate need of ample hydration. The best way to prepare the skin before applying any sort of hydrating cream is to apply a toner so that it'll absorb it better.

Step 5: Essence

The essence is truly what the Korean skin care is all about. It's the element of the routine that really differentiates it from any other skin care routine. The inherently Korean essence is basically very similar to a serum, booster of ampoules but it contains a greater percentage of water and as such it looks and feels a lot like a toner.

Step 6: Serums & Boosters

These oil-based treatments are not necessary if you deal with brown spots or pigmentation often. If you have normal or dry skin you can try these methods for a bonus layer of hydration. Believe us, your skin will thank you for it!

Step 7: Sheet Mask

The great thing about masks is that there is no 'one mask fits all'. You can try a hydrating mask if you have dry skin or a Vitamin C packed one to brighten it. You don't need to do this step every night. It's actually more beneficial for you if you only do it twice a week.

Step 8: Eye Cream

Again with eye cream, you can target the areas that are most important to you. You could focus on fine lines or dark circles.

Step 9: Face Cream

This is one of the vital parts of the routine even if you leave out a couple of other steps. Skin hydration is the key to soft, younger looking skin at all times. Try to wear a lighter day cream and a full nourishing night cream.

Step10: SPF

The most important step of the Korean regimen is the SPF. You must have heard of women swearing by their SPF since the slightest exposure to sunlight can speed up the ageing process of the skin. SPF needs to be applied daily even if you don't live in a city that is necessarily sunny.

There you have it! The Complete Guide to Korean Morning Routine. Need help with picking the right products? Have a look below at our top picks for every single step and say hello to brighter younger-looking skin!

The podcast form has evolved tremendously over the last few years. From Leandra Medine's snappy humour in Oh Boy and Monocycle to the High Low courtesy of Pandora Sykes and Dolly Atterton to Camille Charriere's Fashion: No Filter, there's a podcast out there to feed your particular fashion cravings.

Here's our list of our favourite podcasts around!

In Leandra Medine's first podcast for the ManRepeller, filmmaker Jay Buim sits down with interesting women from tech, fashion, and the arts to give an insight into their lives and careers. In Monocycle's Leandra Medine gives a more intimate view of topics such as Personal Essays, Working with your best friend but also miscarriage, and an inspirational talk with Drew Barrymore.

GirlBoss Radio is exactly what you would expect it to be. Capitalising on founder's Nasty Gal badass no excuses Sophia Amoruso, and an evolution of her two books, in this podcast she talks to inspirational and hilarious women. New episodes every Thursday.

In the American Fashion Podcast, expect guests like writer Lauren Sherman, editor Mickey Boardman, and designers Ralph Rucci and Naeem Khan. This amazing group of fashion insiders aims to give an in-depth view of the industry's most complex topics instead of giving your usual superficial jargon.

When André Leon Talley is the man behind the mic you know THIS podcast is worth your while. It covers everything from the ever changing fashion news, fashion business, beauty as well as the hottest topics that Vogue Editors are talking about at the office. And we'd all love to know what's going on there!

Succinct in its entirety - just 6 episodes- this is the podcast you need if you'd like to pack all of that style knowledge with pop culture infusions courtesy of Editor in Chief Joe Zee. He's funny, witty and bound to make you laugh whilst picking up a few tips here and there. You may have caught him next to Olivia Palermo when he was at ELLE US during the filming of MTV's The City.

The High Low is a weekly pop-culture news and fashion podcast hosted by journalists Pandora Sykes and Dolly Alderton. The name serves as reference to High-Low journalism inspired by Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown, who blended water-cooler gossip and hard-hitting cultural happenings in the 80s. In its first month of existence, The High Low peaked at number two in the UK iTunes chart. The High Low was launched as an independent project in February 2017, after a two months break. Prior to that, we created and hosted The Sunday Times Style's podcast The Pandolly podcast.

Camille Charrière is the quintessential cool girl with a wardrobe to die for. She employed fried and fellow fashion Journalist friend Monica Ainley, to talk about fashion concepts, images, influencers, Fashion week and earning a buck on Instagram. We're sold!

Take cues from your favourite poolside buddy: the shoe of the summer that has emerged from the sports arena to take the fashion's main trend spot this season is the slide.

You can attribute this influx of extra comfy shoewear circa 2017 to Marni who opted to style it with frayed hems to beautifully compliment step hem pants and dresses. This pair would be perfect for a smart summer day look complete with a cold-shoulder blouse an oversized bag and a pair of oval sunnies.

If you're after a great alternative to sky-high stilettos, you can go with the sleek style of Lanvin, who took the vintage option way back to the Ancient times with a style that reminds us of Greek goddesses. You can team the extra sleek pair of slides with a Grecian spaghetti strap silk dress, a low bun, and accessorize with ethnic earrings and a bold red lip.

Of course, there are always our go-to slides that are innately sporty: Fila, Nike and all the other major sports footwear companies have produced an array of styles making it extra difficult for us to choose. Sporty sliders are an excellent option for the beach/ and or poolside along with your swimsuit, caftan, floppy hat and beach bag or backpack. The inevitable 90s throwback of the sporty slider allows for experimentation. Add a mesh blouse over a sporty t-shirt and pair it with boyfriend jeans and a baseball cap. The world is your fashionable oyster!

Scroll down for our selected edit of the best sliders around this season!

Summer is the time of bare skin exposed to the warm rays of sunshine that can be amazing for our mood (as we produce more serotonin - a mood-boosting hormone) but also very harsh for our skin and hair. Summer skincare is an entirely different chapter in beauty than our normal everyday beauty routine during winter. Excessive sun exposure can cause anything from pigmentation to skin dehydration, sunburn and premature ageing, but not with a proper summer skincare routine.

Here's what you'll need:

TONER
You wouldn't necessarily associate dry skin with summer but that's a myth. Sweating, in particular, can cause our skin pores to open up and that's when the toner is really helpful. Use your favourite toner after you've cleaned your skin thoroughly to help close the pores. Don't forget to moisturise and follow these simple basic steps every day to avoid premature ageing and wrinkles.

NO SCRUB(S)
Although it's important to cleanse the skin during the summer months it's not advisable to scrub it, especially after long-term sun exposure. Scraping off the dead layer of skin may leave you with a brighter complexion but it can also make your skin more sensitive to the sun. If you still want to exfoliate, try limiting it to two times a week and make sure you moisturise after. Because of extra sweat-clogged pores can end up in pimples so keep up with your exfoliating and splash your face with water 3-4 times per day.

DAY CREAM with SPF
An oil-free and fragrance-free cream day cream with SPF 30 would be ideal for summer. Thick creams are only good for dry areas of the body like the feet, knees and elbows. For summer you need a lighter lotion and serum. You should apply a minimum SPF of 30 at least 20-30 minutes before sun exposure. If you have oily prone skin (you still have to wear an SPF!) try a gel-based sunscreen. If you have a mixed or dry skin try a sunscreen with a matte finish.

CC CREAM
If you want just a bit of coverage you can sport a CC Cream in addition to your SPF. Most of the CC's include a SPF and are also colour-correcting, act as a lightweight makeup, and hydrate the skin. But their SPF is sometimes as little as 15 so ALWAYS wear it on top of your normal face sunscreen.

ULTRA HYDRATING MASK
Chlorine from the swimming pool and sea water in combination with sun exposure can severely dehydrate and damage the skin. This season think about investing in a hydrating mask and we swear it will feel just like splashing your face into the water after taking that first summer dip.

LIGHTWEIGHT NIGHT CREAM
Night cream is a tad excessive during the summer months, just like that sweater you packed and never worn on your holidays- you just don't need it. You don't necessarily need it in humid conditions. But due to sun exposure and dry environments (especially with air-conditioning) you should aim for a lightweight night cream or serum depending on your skin type.

EYES & LIPS
The sun rays are most harmful between 12 and 4 pm. It's important to wear a pair of UV-protected sunnies and an eye cream for extra sun protection. Chapped lips are common during the summer months as well so make sure you carry an extra lip balm with sun protection and coconut oil for extra moisturising in your bag. If the sun really hurts your eyes sit down in the shade and apply potato juice or peeled potatoes underneath your eyes for a super soothing effect.

We’ve all dreamt of getting rid of the stress of last minute shaving sessions, or the pain that comes with waxing... and laser has always sounded like the ideal solution to all those problems. But the technique is not actually as simple as it seems, so here are a few pointers to help you get it right.

First of all, you should know that laser doesn’t get rid of 100% of your hair. You'll definitely see a dramatic difference, but don’t expect to never have to deal with your body hair ever again.

In order to maximise the results though, you should find out which laser technique works best for you. This will depend on the colour and nature of your skin and hair, so ask a specialist to make sure you don’t waste all your money on the wrong one.

Then, you should be aware that you’ll need multiple sessions. And, of course, the more you go, the better it works. Yes, because it doesn’t just all go away after one session. You’ll probably need to go regularly about 4-6 times for it to fully work.

Keep in mind that you shouldn’t expose yourself to the sun for 3 months before and after your treatment, and that you should avoid getting spray tans in the week beforehand. This is to avoid any skin damage, but also to maximise the overall results.

The day before, you should shave the areas of your body that you’ll want lasered, and the day of, don’t apply any type of cream on your body.

And, last but not least, you should try not to sweat too much for the following 48 hours. So now you finally have a good excuse not to exercise…

Oh and if you notice that some of your hairs grow back after your session, that’s completely normal, it’ll only do that for a couple days before they fall off for good!

Now, this may seem like it’s a little more complicated than you anticipated, but the results are truly life-changing. So, now that you know all the details, you can go ahead and book yourself that long-awaited laser session!

The Fashion Spot has released a report analysing model diversity in spring 2017 ad campaigns and we have to admit the results are a little disappointing.

You’d think that that the fashion industry would reflect the growing buying power and influence of minorities, transgenders, women over 50 and people that are above a size 8, but this really isn’t the case…

The study showed that only 24.5% of models cast were nonwhite, which is only a 1.2 point increase from last season.
Models over the age of 50 decreased in campaign appearances, the only model casted being Lauren Hutton.
We are seeing more plus-size models but they were only casted 10 times out of 444 castings.
And transgender models had their most visible season yet, with five transgender models cast in four campaigns, but this is obviously still not enough.

Although many industry leaders like Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney and Urban Outfitters have very diverse campaigns, there are still far too many brands like Celine and Armani that continue to cast only young white skinny girls and that’s just unacceptable.
