Another leopard print coat I am lusting after is this one by And Other Stories. And Other Stories tends to be just out of my price range but with key pieces that you plan on wearing over and over I find it's usually worth spending a little more. This definitely goes for a coat. Just like the Ganni this could definitely be worn with anything and everything. I really like the waist tie on this which would give it a little more structure. I also love the pockets and sharp cut collar. A great shape. Image: And Other Stories/Vogue.com

There's just something about the elegance, not to mention the comfort factor of a leather moccasin or a well-turned-out loafer. The ‘70s resurgence, with its voluminous silhouettes, floral prints and maximalism calls for a solid shoe to tie a look together and we’ve found our match. Now, with bold spring colours like blush pink and forest green dominating the streets, new silhouettes are appearing too, including heeled versions with embellishments like buckles, feathers and patterns.

How to wear moccasins?

Dress them down with a pair of tight fitted jeans, a white crisp shirt and a check blazer for an understated yet smart day look. Add a cute trench and an oversized bag for effortless cool.

Kick back in a woven pair and team with a floor-skimming spring-ready dress. Add oversized jewellery for interest and finish the look off with a ‘70s saddle bag.

Update your business wardrobe by sporting your fave moccasins with a pair of sleek trousers, a blazer and a pussy bow blouse. Briefcase optional.

Mixing colour hues appropriately can really make or break an outfit. It's natural to sense a hesitation when pairing bold colours and experimenting with combos that you wouldn't have thought of in the past. This season is the time for bold colour combinations. Here are a few ideas that will enhance your style without compromising your elegance factor.

GREEN AND YELLOW

Arguably one of the most popular colour combos of 2018 this fresh mix of green and yellow looks amazing on most complexions. If you have more warm tones then opt for mustard, khaki and forest green while if you're more cool tones then sharpen your look with bright shades of yellows and iridescent greens.

Pair your smart yellow blazer with grey skirt or jeans if you don't want to go for the blended option straight away. Try colour blocking to add a vivacious effect and transcend your winter wardrobe to Spring and Summer. Take a bright yellow top and pair it with your green trousers and tie the look together with a black clutch and heeled sandals.

COBALT BLUE AND TURQUOISE

If you're after a powerful and bold result this is the perfect colour match. As seen on the streets of Copenhagen and Stockholm this mix is a Scandi style fave. Take Fashion editor Janette Jensen for example as she pairs oversized royal blue sweaters over long turquoise skirts paired with white sneakers.

For a muted approach slowly infuse these bright hues into your wardrobe or go all-out by donning a head-to-toe cobalt blue look featuring a long-sleeved top and matching trousers and finish the look with a pastel turquoise trench.

This may be the year of the Scrunchie return. In addition to the recent scrunchie craze, there's an equal craving for over-the-top headbands in bold colours like red and royal blue. Those kindergarten hair-accessories are inspired by a need to return to a more naive era but in all honesty, they're just a fun way to accessorise.

Fashion followers have welcomed back one of the most polarising accessories of the past few decades. In the 90s and naughties, there was a common consensus that scrunchies are dated even kitsch. They led a life as a definitive faux pas by the mainstream culture but were also considered hipster material by labels like American Apparel or Retro Vintage.

But recently, scrunchies have been resurfacing as a bonified trend, a runoff effect of the 80s  revival. The renaissance trend of the 80s is about to become fully adopted by popping up to various collections. For example, Urban Outfitters has offered a wide display of different types of scrunchies varying from velvet to satin. Over at Balenciaga, their chouchou versions are made from lambskin and priced at almost $200.

Amidst the emerging scrunchies craze, a new luxe scrunchie brand was introduced. Comfort Objects is an accessories label based in Denmark that transforms vintage Hermès scarves into silk scarves, priced at $112. Insta - favourite Ganni adored for the rainbow stripes jumper, white cowboy boots and polka dot pieces presented his own scrunchie offering. Just this week, blogger Camille Charriere snapped a mirror selfie sporting a red floral scrunchie from the Copenhagen brand costing no more than $20.

Match the scrunchie pattern with your dress for maximum effect or opt for a red accessory to tie in the outfit. These accessories are best employed with a muted outfit like a creme coloured victorian blouse jeans and flats.

You may be stumped on a way to update your look this Spring and a piece of jewellery is always a safe bet. There's a certain personal element when buying a piece of jewellery. A well-thought jewel choice says a lot about your individual style. Go to your closet and examine it carefully to determine whether you're after a modern or a more classic approach. For a classic look go for minimal stacked gold enamel or raw earthy touches. For modern try maximalist colour, chunky silhouettes, layering and funky design.

STATEMENT EARRINGS

When it comes to earrings opt for tassel, chandelier or statement architectural earrings to be completely on trend for this season. The earrings are meant to be the main focal point so keep the rest of the outfit muted for immense effect. For a classic look go for drop earrings or a pair of pearl earrings and wear them with an evening look or a smart casual outfit.

LAYER HOOPS RINGS PENDANTS

Get a bunch of pendants to layer, including gold hoops in different sizes or statement rings that say something about you. The layering and the choice of an accessory here will communicate your individuality.

MATCH THEM

For a black-tie event go for a matching necklace or choose a necklace with multiple layers for a nonchalant effect that is oh-so-chic.

ARM PARTY

Opt for an array of bold and colourful bracelets for your maximalist friend otherwise known as "arm party". The effect is a joyful blend of materials and colours that can easily act as one comprehensive accessory. Avoid adding any other piece of jewellery such as drop earrings or necklaces and keep the attention on your bracelets.

There are certain items that you can safely say work under most weather climates. With the rise of a global fashion agenda even if a piece belongs to the summer wardrobe, for example, sandals, a new trend will emerge such as pairing them with statement socks. Leather leggings though can stand well on their own against temperature tantrums and make one of the best pieces of clothing to own during transitional periods like Spring.

Leather leggings are comfortable, flattering and can keep you warm. With the new season, there comes a new way of styling them according to the fashion pack. From minimal to statement -making outfits that will make heads turn on the street.

Read on and discover how you can wear leather leggings this Spring!

STATEMENT

Go for a bold statement by blending poppy colours in one maximal outfit. For example team a pair of red leather pants with a blue cashmere polo-neck and tie it in with a silver chain belt.

MUTED

Opt for a demure approach by sporting a pair of black leather pants with a cardigan or hoodie and finish your look with a slouchy pair of Converse.

TEXTURE

For a night out go for a head-to-toe black outfit and play with textures and prints. Add a leopard print or faux fur coat and indulge in the luxe effect of leather leggings.

WESTERN

For the perfect twist on a daytime outfit team your leather leggings with a camisole western shirt and leather print mules.

Happy Jewel Day! March 13th of each year marks the day that celebrates jewellery and the jewel creators. If you're planning to buy a piece of sparkly jewellery for yourself, a friend or a loved one maybe it's time to have a look at the modern pearls, swinging pendants and punk precious jewels that will take centre-stage in 2018.

SHOULDER LENGTH EARRINGS

This length is very flattering and elongates the neck. The dramatic drop earrings are a direct influence from Chanel, David Morris and Diane Kordas. Wear them with a cocktail dress or add them to elevate any daytime smart casual look.

GOING GREEN

Green is having a moment, "avocado green", to be exact, while electric lime shades populate the spring collections. It's the perfect colour to infuse some colour to your basic silver jewellery.

PUNK ATTITUDE

Sometimes a bit of punky edge is required to create an elegant juxtaposition. Nothing exudes elegance like the contrast between contemporary and classic aesthetic. Take a pair of restyles safety pins for example employed as earrings and biker chains in glittering diamonds and 18-karat gold.

PICK n MIX

The trend of combining different characterful designs started last year. This offbeat trend is not necessarily new but now there are more designers specialising in mismatched earrings. A popular mix is a cuff with studs or gold hoops, that can give depth to any look.

MODERN PEARLS

Forget those classic twin pearl sets and button earrings, although the oldest type of jewellery is still on trend it's undergoing a major transformation. This season calls for sophisticated cool pearl creations blended with gold details that result in beautiful pearl drop earrings, bracelets and chokers finished with a chic silk ribbon tie.

It all started with the return of the scrunchie. Only a few years ago we started pulling out our lacklustre hair bands to tie in the scrunchie (we all had the velvet #UrbanOutfitters one right?). And now the revival of hair-wear has found its second accessory - the hair slide. I know what you're thinking, those bright, tinny things we wore in the nineties? No. These are more grown up. The likes of Bottega Veneta are designing subtle but sparkly hair slides which are making it to the catwalk. What do you think? Can the hair slide really grow up! Image: Vogue

Another performance, another winning crop top look from our favourite rising singing sensation Dua Lipa. The 5-time 2018 Brit Award nominee scored a coveted spot on American comedy TV show Saturday Night Live to introduce the US to her sassy and soulful brand of pop. And she didn’t disappoint, sashaying her way through cool-girl breakup anthem 'New Rules' from her debut eponymous album, which charted the highest of any new female artist in the UK last year. She also made us, and almost everyone watching we'd imagine, really yearn for a floral crop top like hers, long-sleeved and only just long enough to cover a bra. So much so that Vogue.com took notice.

So how did she make this summer-perfect piece weather and prime-time TV worthy? By adding on-trend, high waisted black vinyl trousers and platform heels to teach a new lesson in monochrome dressing. She was coolly glamorous and the smattering of gold necklaces around her neck (and rings on her fingers) gave the ensemble even more of an edge. Of course, Refinery 29 had already marked Lipa out as a fashion star to watch and this unexpected enviable look certainly cemented that reputation. We weren’t sure where she could go, crop top wise, following the actual bras and bikini tops she’s sported in the past, but the ultra-chic answer is here for all to see.

It’s easy to get Lipa’s look even if you don’t have her killer abs. Tie front crop tops have been a bubbling micro trend since last summer and you'll wear one more and more as is starts to get warmer. Ditto vinyl trousers and we probably wouldn’t have put them together before seeing Lipa totally nail the combination. Platforms are a given to add height and keep this flirty look in everyone’s eye line; and you can add your own jewellery to personalise it. What a great date night outfit idea!

Watch Lipa's performance in the gallery above then shop our edit below to recreate this of-the-moment look.

Hands up if you only watch the Super Bowl for the American national anthem and the halftime show? Us too, and also for an annual real life sighting of the supermodel Gisele as she supports her husband, the record-breaking star New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady with their family. Although this year the 5 time world champions didn’t retain their trophy in Super Bowl LII as the so-called ‘underdogs’ Philadelphia Eagles beat them 41-33, with Brandon Graham's incredible strip-sack knocking the ball out of Brady’s hands. That’s a very rough summary of the actual American football played because we were most excited to see Justin Timberlake in his comeback gig, to crown the release of his new album 'Man of the Woods.' P!nk had wowed belting out ’The Star-Spangled Banner’ with the flu earlier on.

Timberlake had a tough task following Lady Gaga’s epic performance last year and Beyonce’s stunning politically-charged rendition of ‘Formation’ the year before, and the talented singer-dancer didn’t quite reach the same heights. His mandate seemed to be family friendly rather than forward-thinking and so Timberlake dutifully delivered: slickly dancing his way through a medley of his greatest hits including ‘Rock your Body’ (which he did at his 2003 Super Bowl show with Janet Jackson that lead to #nipplegate), ‘Señorita’, ‘My Love’, ‘Sexy Back’, 'Cry me a River', ‘Suit and Tie’, ‘End of Time’ at a piano and ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ to close.

There were no NSYNC, Janet Jackson or ‘Filthy’ robot appearances but plenty of backing dancers, a live brass band and a few sound issues; and Timberlake did pay tribute to the late Prince, as the game was being staged in his hometown Minnesota, by covering ‘I Would Die 4 U’. The late legendary artist was projected next to him as a video rather than a ‘demonic’ hologram and his fans weren’t happy as Prince reportedly didn’t like Timberlake. Unlike longterm Timberlake’s fans from his NSYNC and ‘Justified' days who voiced their approval on social media, but the whole thing did little to inspire a new generation, as the young man who got a selfie with Timberlake hinted by his actions.

What Timberlake wore also sparked plenty of debate and memes. Fresh out of Stella McCartney’s AW18 menswear collection (so not in stores yet) and in line with his new ‘country with R’n’b roots’ sound, he sported a deer scene shirt with a cameo splatter print and Prince of Wales check suit, a red bandana around his neck, a fringed leather jacket and chunky white Nike sneakers which looked like custom Jordans. GQ has full details/sketches and it was the most progressive thing about the performance- a fresh way to pull off clashing prints for men.

So if you want to, or you’d like your boyfriend to dress like Timberlake, admire his instagram shots in the gallery above, watch the halftime show here and then shop our edit of similar styles below.

A headscarf is one of those accessories that you think only a select few may have been gifted to nail in their lifetime, but in all honesty, anyone can pull off a headscarf. It's just a matter of knowledge and individual taste. So, this week because headscarves are trending (although when were they not in fashion) we're going to show you how to wear it. And believe us when we say anyone can sport it. From the Queen to Grace Kelly, Lauryn Hill, or Gucci models there's a headscarf girl in all of us.

Boho Vibe

If you're feeling the Gucci 70's vibe then this is the look for you. Just opt for a long scarf that you'll wrap around your head and tie it securely at the back.

Queen style

For this look, you'll need a much shorter fabric preferably in a monotone colour devoid of any patterns. And voila! Classic Queen chic.

Turban

Even if you're not Linda Evangelista in the 90's you can still rock the uber elegant turban. Take an elastic scarf and tie it once in the front and once securely on the back of your neck.

 HeadBand

Go for the Upper East Manhattan Charlotte from SATC meets Blair from Gossip Girl vibe and sport a very classy headband and elevate any smart casual outfit!
