The infamous drama following the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II's reign is back on Netflix. And we're absolutely crushing over the on and off set style of the show's star Claire Foy. Claire made an impressive jump from the London stage to TV by starring in the BBC drama, "Upstairs Downstairs". She soon appeared as Anne Boleyn in the TV mini-series Wolf Hall in the great company of Damian Lewis.

Nowadays, apart from the part of Elizabeth II that made her a household name, she also returned to the stage as Lady Mcbeth with James McAvoy in Macbeth in February 2013 at the Trafalgar Studios. Claire's style is classic with a modern twist. She goes for simple and elegant designs that are differentiated by a few embellishments here and there. She counts Erdem, Valentino, Duro Olowu and Fendi as her designers of choice and we've seen her red carpet confidence naturally grow.

Have a look at our gallery for more Claire Foy inspiration and shop her look from our expert edit below!

With the latest Star Wars film The Last Jedi due for UK release this Friday, Daisy Ridley has stepped back into the spotlight in glorious style. The English actress, who reprised her role as Rey, wowed at the LA premiere this past weekend in a star-spangled Monse midi covered in glittering sequins. A stylish nod to the film, the setting and her star tattoo, Ridley twirled down the red carpet showing off the fringed skirt, which took her look further out of this world.

Ridley, 25, scored American Vogue and UK ELLE covers this year but it’s her red carpet looks that have cemented her status as a chic newcomer. With stylist Petra Flannery’s help, she’s really mixed it up- stepping out in and making memorable Dior, Mary Katrantzou and Chanel looks her own. There’s a little hint of Keira Knightley about the actress as well and she’s definitely catching up with the Pirates of the Caribbean star in the fashion stakes.

Some women happily shimmy into theirs at the first hint of frost, while others would rather freeze than cover their legs in tights of any shape or form. And to all intents and purposes it’s perfect tight weather right now, being both bitingly cold and snowy at times. Pulling on a pair of 100 deniers or Uniqlo’s heat tech styles means you don’t have to sacrifice warmth for style- so flirty mini skirts, dreamy dresses and thin trousers can be worn with confidence. For the waistband and gusset haters among us, stockings and ankle socks also do the job and there’s a particularly wonderful selection of decorative hosiery to play with this winter. From lace to fishnet, sparkly to block coloured, some pairs are admittedly more for show but your outfit will be all the more fabulous for it.

On the flip side, this extra warmth does come at a cost: sweaty legs, coloured legs that potentially ruin an outfit’s carefree mood and, of course, constant hole and ladder watch. Not wearing tights at all eliminates these risks and only requires an extra dollop of moisturiser before venturing out. And Scousers and Essex girls really take pride in their no-tights-under-any-circumstances (or coats) reputation. This hard-core approach to winter dressing is for the ultra-brave and the cold immune. Like Victoria Beckham and even royal bride-to-be Meghan Markle perhaps, judging by her star engagement announcement turn when she flaunted her lithe, yoga honed legs outside uncovered.

Whether you’re a tights rater or slater, we’ve rounded-up the essentials below in our must-shop edit.

Everything that brings us comfort is coupled to our day to day and, when we talk about comfy fashion, it is even more pleasant, especially if we talk about footwear. Remember the flats shoes. They were a boom for their comfort and versatility to become a footwear that could fit both the casual and the executive and now the latest fad of fashion proposes a similar style, but quite peculiar: the slippers.Have a look at our gallery for more inspiration! Riverdale's Veronica Lodge, or Ronnie to friends and fans, is without a doubt the next generations Blair Waldorf. For some time I've been hoping for something to replace the Gossip Girl shaped hole in my heart and whilst Riverdale is very different (fabulous all the same) Ronnie's style and sass is definitely helping. I love her preppy look, seen here on the actress's Instagram @camimendes. She wears a lot of monochrome, big bows, white shirts and cute jackets and structures bags.

I am definitely a style over practicality girl. However, more and more I am refusing to buy shoes that I know - deep, deep down - will ruin my feet. Every now and again, a trend comes along that sees the miraculous fusion of style and practicality. The disco jumper is just this. Actually it is very cold outside and no I don't really want to wear a cami. It a sparkly or sequinned jumper hey presto we can be warm and still be in seasonal style. This #DorothyPerkins (image from their website) piece is only £21 but you can buy them all over the high street from #Topshop to #Reiss. What do you think of this new party trend?

Zendaya always leaves us impressed with their outfits. And again he has achieved it yet, this time at the premiere of The Greatest Showman, her latest work on the big screen, a musical where she plays a trapeze artist. The singer and actress have opted for a stylish grown at the premiere of the film in New York. Have a look at our gallery for more inspiration! Credits: Just Jared
