We present the new trend of the moment! The stockings and heels have been opposite for years, but with the cold wave that sweeps in so many countries, to stop wearing our favourite shoes for so long is just torture. Wearing socks with heeled shoes that leave them exposed has never been fashionable, but celebrities apparently want to change this, as they have become part of their outfits more frequent than many would like to see it. Head to our gallery for more inspiration! Credits: Pinterest

Remember your mother forcing you to put on those denim overalls because A. you can get in the dirt and mud without ruining your "nice" clothes, and B. you looked so damn adorable in them? Well, guess what? You can still rock those denim onesies with confidence and maybe even prestige. The overalls have resurged from the 80's and have made a prominent comeback in the past few seasons. Because they're comfy because they elude to the fact that your look just happened with no effort and because, well,... your mother was right, they ARE so damn cute.

Here are the best ways to sport overalls in 2017.

OVERALLS OVER TEES

Overalls are meant to be worn over t-shirts, slogan ones if you want to be spot on for AW17. But also you can try wearing them over pussy bow blouses while adding a pair of reading glasses (if you need them not fake ones) loafers, a beret and a cross-body messenger bag for a very convincing librarian, smart and sexy look.

THE SHORTY LOOK

Even though summer is now a distant memory, you can rock a short version of overalls and don them over heels and fishnet stockings. The stockings will keep you somewhat warm and also they add a rocker-chic edge to your outfit. Don them over a t-shirt or wear a luxe knit over your outfit for a very 80's take on the trend. Hello Flashdance.

OVERALL DRESS

Who said the idea of overalls had to be constricted to trousers, or shorts, or super sexy short shorts? You can just as easily wear an overall dress. Wear your overall dress over a stipped light jumper in a rainbow striped pattern and feel the optimism in your veins. You simply can't go wrong with a rainbow pattern and they look amazing when mixed with denim. Finish the look off with a pair of ankle boots and for an extra serving of roughness trade them in for combat boots.

The annual People's Choice Awards had some absolutely beautiful looks on the red carpet, but there were also celebs who took their outfits a little too far. Here's who you need to know about:

Best Dressed -

1) Ruby Rose: Ruby gave her Veronica Beard suit an edgy twist, and paired it with a dark red lip for a little touch of drama. She looked classy as hell, and her look definitely stood out on the red carpet for us!

2) Jennifer Lopez: Our love for JLo's style in undying, and she did not disappoint! She wore a black Reem Acra gown, which had the most stunning bejewelled bodice. Possibly the best look of the night!

3) Blake Lively: Blake looked beautiful in a black Elie Saab tasselled dress, and her glimmering black and silver accessories completed her look perfectly. And how about them shoes?!

4) Priyanka Chopra: Simple is always the key to success, and PC embraced that motto on this ed carpet. She let her Sally LaPointe dress be the star of her look, as she opted for a neutral glam makeup look and bronzy skin to match. Radiant is too kind a word to describe how she looked!

5) Jamie Chung: Her pale yellow Martha Madeiros gown looked easy and effortless on her, and her golden tan brought out the dress even further.

Bizarre:

1) Gwen Stefani: Her ruffled blue number came across a little dated, especially when paired with black fishnet stockings. The exaggerated straps brought unnecessary attention to her shoulders, making her otherwise petite frame appear broader. But then again, blue isn't the easier colour to pull off, especially when paired with a grunge accessory like the fishnets!

2) Yara Shahidi: Yara's printed gown had ruffles in many wrong places, which didn't enhance her body shape much at all. But whatever said and done, she was all smiles walking down the runway, which was the perfect accessory!

3) Kristen Bell: The wide leg pants of her metallic jumpsuit engulfed her frame completely, and the white frilly cups came off more awkward than amazing. However, the colour of the piece was perfectly on trend, so points are given where due!

4) Ashley Greene: Keeping with the metallic outfits, Ashley Greene's metallic purple dress had a silver and green duochrome that didn't quite catch the light as one would have hoped. Instead, it made her outfit appear a little too simple, and even a little dated. Despite this, the dress hugged her fit frame perfectly, which we appreciated for sure!

5) Jodie Sweetin: Combining aesthetics is definitely on trend this season, but it seems like Jodie Sweetin went too extreme with her sartorial choices. Her gown and her leather jacket were stunning as separate pieces, but looked out of place when paired together.

As winter approaches, you Delhi gals are surely on the lookout for chic office-appropriate outfits that still slay sartorially. And we're here to help!

Here are 5 quick and easy readymade combinations you can rock.

Keepin' it classic
The first one is super classic, and you can't really go wrong with it—the pencil skirt! Team this classic piece with a pretty pussy bow blouse, a trench coat, stockings, and block heels.

Feeling pants
Prefer pants over skirts? We gotchu! With a smart pair of work trousers, you can rock a simple white, tailored shirt, along with elegant stud earrings, and understated kitten heels.

Warm and cosy
Does your office like to keep things freezing even during winter? Then you'll be super cosy in a long dress, platform sandals, and a nice kimono to keep you warm.

Chic AF
On days when you're feeling more stylish, go for a pair of smart, high-waisted culottes, and pair with a chic crop top and some statement pumps. So very Devil Wears Prada!

Simple but cool
Some days just call for a simpler, more laid-back look. For days like that, pair cigarette pants with a simple blouse and ballet flats. Comfortable and stylish at the same time.

If you’re going to London Fashion Week this year and want to draw attention for all the right reasons, this is the post for you!

Below are our tips and tricks to get noticed at LFW - whether your aiming to be featured in a fashion blog or maybe even get noticed by a fashion house!

Stay on trend
Do some research beforehand to find out what the season’s trends are, and try to emulate this look in your outfit. Think about every aspect of your outfit including coat, handbag, shoes and even gloves.

Embrace London weather
It’s likely to be cold in February, so make the most of having to wear a jacket by investing in a stunning piece that ties your entire outfit together. Once you’re there, make like Kim-K and wear your jacket draped over your shoulders for that extra touch.

Accessorise
Unusual accessories are always a talking point, and a pristine watch, bracelet, earrings, ring or necklace can really make your outfit pop.

Tights, stockings and socks
Whatever the rest of your outfit is doing, a pair of statement tights, stockings or socks are guaranteed to get you noticed by a fashion blogger at LFW.

Headwear
As well as making sure your hairstyle is pristine, an interesting hat can set you apart from the rest of the fashion crowd. Whether you opt for a beret, bowler hat or beanie, a hat can also come in useful if it rains.

No longer does hosiery invoke images of not-quite-nude tights, wrong-shade-of-brown stockings and faded-black knee-highs.

Hosiery took on new life in 2015 and it's about to get even bigger this season with versatile new designs and styles ruling both the catwalk and the high-street.

There’s plenty of choice when it comes to your hosiery style decisions, whether you opt for thigh-high stockings paired with a short enough dress to show just a hint of leg, a pair of fishnets with exaggerated cutouts, or embroidered, patterned and textured tights that become the centre of your outfit.

Whatever you opt for, there's plenty to choose from in our edit below!
