As I’ve said multiple or probably thousand times, this year everything is oversized! Our current mainstream is oversized fashion. We’ve moved from oversized sweaters to oversized blazers for 2018. Either belt your blazer or wear it free over a logo t-shirt to nail this trend. Perfect with your boyfriend or ripped jeans, oversized blazers are the new classic to suit jackets. Love and embrace this style because you will be seeing it everywhere you go! #style #streetstyle #blazers #fashion #oversized #streetwear

I always find interesting the option of wearing a dress with sneakers. I mean, I love how effortless can look a t-shirt dress with white sneakers for casual days in the city. But in this picture, Chanel makes the unthinkable look good pairing bright sports sneakers with the chicest dress, and it´s a very cool idea. Such a cool look from Binky Felstead! A red tartan shirt dress has been styled with some classic black knee high boots - what a cracking outfit! The baker boy hat is a great trendy addition too. #ootd #binkyfelstead #outfitinspo #fashion #inthestyle Photo Credit: @BinkyFelstead on Twitter

this grey shirt, it's so cool. I love unique clothing pieces that actually look wearable. And this one it's definitely a great option. The whole different and little-detached sleeves are such a great concept I can see this piece work really well even for office meetings. Teaming a button down shirt and jeans together is a great example of sartorial yin and yang. The formality of the work-appropriate shirt is effortlessly toned down by the relaxed comfort of the denim to create a chic look that’s timeless and the epitome of 'smart casual'. This has all coincided rather nicely with the general loosening of work dress-codes and even though men have been rocking this classic combo for years, women have much more leeway to put their own twist on it.

Besides the standard button downs, statement shirting is an enduring trend and each season brings bold new plays with proportion, exciting embellishments and deconstructed styles. And there are plenty of denim addicts among us so it’s not that uncommon to own a range of washes, fits and cuts that are regularly updated. The devil’s in the details and how you tuck the shirt is much more important that you’d think when putting your own stamp on this outfit. There’s all in, just one side, front in but out at the back and leaving it all out just for starters which affects the silhouette; and slipping on some heels/flats/sneakers can really dress it up or down. A smattering of jewellery is optional.

Who said that you had to leave the denim items in your wardrobe only for casual occasions? Just like the early naughties, the party jeans are gaining back their reputation as capable LBD alternatives. Emily Ratajkowski certainly thinks so. She sported a pair of straight legged denim jeans with ripped hems with an ethereal silky embroidered kimono by The Kooples to add a bit of glam to the outfit.

She wanted to add a bit more definition and sparkle to her evening look so she placed a pearl and crystal belt around her waist. She put her hair in a half - up Bardot-esque do for the ultimate effortless sexy result. She finished off the look with a pair of black heeled sandals and a leopard print bag.

For a more comprehensive evening look go for a sequinned black top, and pair it with a belt over the knee black boots and a bright coloured tote bag.

Let the top speak for itself and go for a statement off the shoulder ruffled top and pair it with mules and a cute leather clutch.

Channel your inner Victorian vibe and go for the appropriate volume sleeved shirt, soft leather mules and an embroidered drawstring bag. Ready to sport your denim this weekend?

As we're going through the motions in 2018 many are already thinking of their first winter break maybe hitting the slopes or at least enjoying a relaxing weekend away. So you have organised your carry on, and your suitcase you've packed your beauty kit, your casual wear, athletic gear if you're going skiing and your evening wear. But how about your airport outfit? For the longest time celebrity culture has been associated with those glamorous outfits that have transformed into a cool version of a special occasion: travelling.

If you're all about unassuming comfort go for Khloe Kardashian's or Kravitz's version. An oversized hoodie, with a pair of black leggings, trainers and sunnies. Don't let the nonchalance of the outfit fool you. Their make up always remains flawless.

For a more elegant and classic look, think Victoria Beckham go for a pair of jeans a white crisp open-collar shirt and pair them with a long waist fitting trench coat, and oversized sunnies.

If you want to make a statement then go for unapologetic bold. Opt for a memorable colour like mustard or violet and pair it with a great pair of white sneakers slogan tee and sunglasses. Voila! Airport outfit sorted.

So where are we heading? You can head to the gallery for now, and get some more airport style inspiration and then scroll down below to shop your favourite styles!

You probably heard about the controversy surrounding one of H&M’s kids slogan hoodies earlier this month by now. Which got us thinking about the perils of wearing a seemingly innocent slogan without considering the repercussions. Because as that story showed, you might not be offended by the message spelled out but other people who see you in real life and/or on social media in it might be and they could aggressively confront you about it. Swear words (disguised or not) and double entendres are most problematic as you have no idea of knowing what meaning individuals place of different words or phrases. On the other hand, why should you and your clothing be censored? One of fashion’s fundamental principles is freedom of expression and we are lucky enough to live in a country where we can wear what we want. While there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed (nothing discriminatory, racist, homophobic, sexist etc), you should be able to wear your sense of humour or thoughtfully share your opinion should you wish.

As a general rule of thumb, though, we’d say if you’re in doubt, don’t wear it out. Stick to the positive, easy-to-laugh at, empowering and motivational phrases that are sure to spark a smile or provoke conversation. Also be sure that you believe in and stand by what your hoodie says as you will be judged by it. Dior arguably sparked the new wave of slogan clothing with their ‘We should all be feminists’ t-shirt, inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s powerful Ted talk and essay, and printing or embroidering words on a warmer hoodie is a winter-perfect upgrade.

We’ve rounded up our favourite slogan hoodies for women, men and children for you to shop in our edit below.

It's true that dressing for work everyday especially if you work in the creative industry can be a bore or an extra piece of anxiety you don't need in your everyday life. It's actually why Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs used to wear the same "uniform" outfit every day (so not the same actual clothes but their clones so to speak) so they would have one less decision to worry about. And we know what they're talking about!

There are many times when you can simply get away with a simple trouser and shirt combo, but especially during the winter season, we tend to fall into the 'samey' outfit trap. Sporting the same sweater a few days in a row. Dressing for work shouldn't be difficult if you simply invest in a few key items. For example, you have to own a versatile suit or a few blazers to choose from and wear them with shirts, jumpers, or t-shirts. Then go for a really great pair of trousers coupled with work- sweaters.

If you want to step out the usual blazer and trousers uniform opt for a midi skirt, a pair of corduroy pants or (if your workplace allows it) a funky jumpsuit. If you own the key ingredients it should be fairly easy to mix and match in order to create an elegant outfit Monday to Friday hassle-free.
