Emma Stone is back in this year's anticipated film: Battle of The Sexes. Based on a true story and set in 1972, the movie highlights the topical gender pay gap, at a time when the United States Lawn Tennis Association had announced a new prize fund offering eight times less for women.

In the film, 29-year-old King is tired of the gender inequality in a sport where women were so shockingly deemed inferior as a means to justify the wage gap. This fuels her ambition to launch the Women's Tennis Association in order to provide an equal working space for women. This irritates most male players including ex-pro Bobby Riggs, played by Steve Carell, who challenges her to the most proficient test: a match or battle of the sexes which in his mind will prove that women are in fact inferior and thus deserve a lesser pay.

Apart from the women's issues and serious Oscar buzz, the film is filled with exquisite 70s fashion moments! Emma wears some amazing geek chic glasses throughout the film, with 70s flared jeans and a pink shirt. This week, the actress attended the premiere wearing a white Tom Ford dress with chain straps, white heels and a statement gold clutch bag. We've recreated a couple of Emma's looks below!

Battle of the Sexes will be released in the UK on 22 November.

There's definitely something about the Victorian allure of the corset. You may even associate it with the art of burlesque or those body-con slim waist garments that the Kardashian/ Jenner clan made popular on social media. Whatever the case, this tiny piece of fabric which is both vintage and modern and gives definition to the sloppiest outfits, is one of the strongest trends of the season.

Actually, many notable style setters were already in on the secret last season by cinching their jackets, dresses and shirts with corsets. In SS17 designers took notice and emphasized the waist during the collections by placing impressive corsets over dresses and t-shirts.

Take Isabel Marant for example, who took a relatively casual double denim look and elevated it by adding a white corset belt. In another look, the designer opted for a colourful corset belt to add a pop of colour to a monochrome look. Over at Balenciaga Demna Gvasalia showed uber bold and over the top shoulders juxtaposed to cinched waists. You can easily incorporate this look by adding a corset belt to a blazer or suit. While Loewe showcased one of the best sellers adopted by many editors and influencers.

How can you style it? Add definition and colour to a simple white tee by adding a cool corset over it. Try wearing a corset belt over a coat or trench to give it structure. Pair a monochrome corset over a dress for a casual day out or go for a corset sewn on a T-shirt and wear it over your jeans. Turn a blazer into a dress by adding a corset over it and you have the perfect going out look! Want the look for less?

Tacos have gone from one of the most to a very notable fashion trend. It all started with the birth of the taco emoji back in 2015, a few mentions on Netflix series Girlboss and yeap on fashion design.

QUICK TACO-HISTORY

Although we don't know exactly the taco's roots, the prominent theory is that they hail from 18th century silver mines in Mexico, because in those mines the word “taco” referred to the little charges they would use to excavate the ore. The first references to the taco came from the end of the 19th century and they were described as tacos de minero—miner’s tacos.

HOW DO YOU MAKE TACOS?

This is the simplest way to make tacos:

Steps

Cook beef in a frying pan over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stir occasionally, until it turns brown and  then drain.

Stir ready made taco salsa (although you could make your own) into beef. Heat until it starts to boil while stirring constantly. Then you can reduce the heat to medium-low.

Finally, heat the taco shells and serve them with beef mixture, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Done!

TACO - FASHION IS NOT TACKY

At least in 2017, where the taco print is definitely more high fashion and less awkward tourist (who forgot to pack more than one t-shirt spilt sauce on the first one and now has to walk around with a taco-shirt on in museums.) Inherently keeping it's humorous nature, taco merchandising is quite fashionable and it doesn't hurt that they come in mustard. One of the biggest colour trends of 2017.

HOW TO WEAR THE TACO TREND?

Add a few pieces here and there while keeping the rest of your outfit muted. Oh! And always keep your sense of humour!

There are not many things that can make us feel excited about Fall but this might be it: More than a few of the most stylish street style stars have been sporting ruffles with vinyl and chunky shoes and lifting vinyl to super trend status. Jessie Bush made a case for a sporty, oversized coat in the material during London Fashion Week while Alexa Chung styled hers with a slogan jumper and Barbour for an ideal Glastonbury look.

Look to Gizelle who found a fresh way to add a punk edge to her ensemble by adding a biker jacket or keeping her vinyl trousers low-key, by teaming them with a casual grey jumper. Style maven Rihanna worked a high-waisted vinyl red skirt with a grey t-shirt and a long denim jacket. Finally, Bella Hadid chose the head-to-toe black vinyl - Matrix type of outfit.

Whatever your inspiration this Fall be sure to rock at least one piece of vinyl and incorporate it into your personal style! Have a look at our favourite vinyl items for Autumn 2017!

4- Choisir un make-up light.

Worn by Rihanna and Adwoa Aboah, the berets has entered a new era. Seeing a surge of beret from designers and high street retailers alike, this hat is making a comeback!

The beret has long been associated French stereotype, man wearing a breton t-shirt, a beret and carrying a baguette and a string of onions or Che Gavara, the Cuban revolutionary. But the cliche is out and the beret is in thanks to Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative Director at Dior, who commissioned milliner Stephen Jones to design the leather berets for the Fall 2017 catwalk.

The transformation from French cliche to chic has changed our perception of the hat. Now available in leather, wool, plaid, red, adorned with bows, pearls and embroidery there are so many styles available. We’ve got our selection below of the best berets!

This season the jewelry edit and the earring selection, in particular, has never been more exciting. Designers are offering a wide range of wondrous creations: from revamping everyday objects into masterful treasures, adding glitz and glam on party girl earrings, or even infusing mysticism in vintage looking majestic pieces. This season Céline, Stella McCartney and Michael Kors were only a few of the designers who presented a series of showstoppers.

The main styles that dominated the catwalks were ear cuffs that have successfully made the transition from a basic punk accessory to a jewellery classic as seen at Mulberry, Oscar de la Renta, and Saint-Laurent. Chandelier earrings were another great trend of the season, especially at Céline. The great news is that a statement earring can transform both a cocktail dress and a casual jeans and T-shirt combo.

The largest trend amongst designers were golden hoops in a vast array of colours, designs and embellishments especially at Alexander McQueen, Fendi and Michael Kors. The most impressive trend though was undoubtedly the mismatched route. Picking and mixing a silver hoop with a chunky gold number was especially popular at Marc Jacobs and Maison Margiela. The best thing is that you don't have to pay the hefty price tag to nail this look as any type of earring goes!

Have a look below at our exclusive edit of the earrings you need to own this season!

When the 90's trends became mainstream last season many old school paraphernalia became popular 20 years on but one of the most worn has been the super comfy and elegant slip dress. Its popularity stems from its versatile nature.

An ivory floor length slip can make for a wondrous wedding dress, a red slip dress can look amazing on a night out while a black slip worn with a white tee and a pair of sneakers is your ultimate summer go-to!

Actually layering a piece of fabric whether it's a tee, blouse or shirt underneath was mostly adopted due to its practicality. It's one thing having a strap fall when worn as lingerie at home it's quite another if that happens while working or commuting. That multitasking white t-shirt lets the slip stay in place whilst providing cover.

Oh, it's super cool too! Check our selected edit of all the slip styles you need to own this season!
