The point is that I just can’t help wearing it! I love this Frida t-shirt as much as I lovey pink satin boots. The good news? The whole outfit has been bought through Shopcade! Easy and stylish! #outfit #look

Ever find it hard to choose between two shades of the same color that you love equally? This season, designers are offering a wide array of our favourite items in close but ultimately contrasting tones, and we’re loving it.

The result is a beautiful amalgamation of clashing hues appearing on catwalks, on the street and in the world of beauty. It all started with the mesmerising Roksanda SS18 collection with pink satin gowns worn over red yellow or blue trousers.

Other designers, like Molly Goddard and Céline, opted for an alluring juxtaposition of contrasting colors. If you’re not ready to commit to a two-tone look just yet, try a softer approach with your shoes. Channel Celiné, in black and white sandals or white and red boots or opt for stripes mules and sandals for your next vacation.

What do you think about these elegant, pretty shorts? Do you wear them? Do you have one? I have just bought one and I can't wait to wear it. These shorts can be a pretty daily look. Why? If you wear it with high heels, you will be an elegant woman. If you combine that with sneakers, you can do it, because you can easily combine these clothes. The satin ones are my favourite. These shorts are a great choice for a girly night out, or a date, too.

Satin isn't a material I wear often - if at all - and I would always see it as evening wear attire. Apparently I am wrong on both accounts and should in fact be wearing it, and wearing it in the day. That's right not only is satin the material to choose this season but also one to be worn for every day not only evening occasions. Pair a maxi satin dress with some brogues for a fun day look or even trainers to dress the look down. Would you give it a go? Image: Vogue.com

@makeupshayla has a collab with @colourpop and the eyeshadow palette looks really awesome.  Shayla did a great color selection with this palette, the shades are strong and vibrant but also very wearable. the neutrals are matte and the more colorful ones are satin and shimmer. Just the way I like it.   photo credit: @treeeenz on twitter  #beauty #shaylaxcolourpop #makeup #eyeshadow

This may be the year of the Scrunchie return. In addition to the recent scrunchie craze, there's an equal craving for over-the-top headbands in bold colours like red and royal blue. Those kindergarten hair-accessories are inspired by a need to return to a more naive era but in all honesty, they're just a fun way to accessorise.

Fashion followers have welcomed back one of the most polarising accessories of the past few decades. In the 90s and naughties, there was a common consensus that scrunchies are dated even kitsch. They led a life as a definitive faux pas by the mainstream culture but were also considered hipster material by labels like American Apparel or Retro Vintage.

But recently, scrunchies have been resurfacing as a bonified trend, a runoff effect of the 80s  revival. The renaissance trend of the 80s is about to become fully adopted by popping up to various collections. For example, Urban Outfitters has offered a wide display of different types of scrunchies varying from velvet to satin. Over at Balenciaga, their chouchou versions are made from lambskin and priced at almost $200.

Amidst the emerging scrunchies craze, a new luxe scrunchie brand was introduced. Comfort Objects is an accessories label based in Denmark that transforms vintage Hermès scarves into silk scarves, priced at $112. Insta - favourite Ganni adored for the rainbow stripes jumper, white cowboy boots and polka dot pieces presented his own scrunchie offering. Just this week, blogger Camille Charriere snapped a mirror selfie sporting a red floral scrunchie from the Copenhagen brand costing no more than $20.

Match the scrunchie pattern with your dress for maximum effect or opt for a red accessory to tie in the outfit. These accessories are best employed with a muted outfit like a creme coloured victorian blouse jeans and flats.
