Pantone just chose the colour of 2018. And it is my favourite colour! Purple!!! I’m super excited to wear an overload of purple. Thanks to Pantone, we won’t have any problems deciding on what to wear and buy for 2018. Anything purple is trend! #pantone #purple #colour #trend #2018 #colouroftheyear #fashion

Pantone just picked the colour of 2018 and its ultraviolet! Not to be confused with ultra violet sun rays! Its deep purple. Purple is usually coined with the idea of luxury, brilliance and royalty. This means 2018 is gonna be a success. Thanks to Pantone we all know what to wear as the clocks hit midnight on the 31st of December. Purple will be the trendiest colour of the year.

We already have the colour of the year !. Like every year, Pantone has revealed the colour of 2018, and the chosen one is the UltraViolet. A purple tone that will flood the stores with clothes, accessories, shop windows, and of course street-style, although it is already beginning to be seen in some brands. Credits: Vice

Even though Pantone's 2017 color of choice was " Greenery", a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade symbolising new beginnings the truth of the matter is, the year felt like it was dedicated to millenial pink. Actually there's never been a year so chromatically in sync with Elle Woods wardrobe - Ever. But, as all Barbie things come to an end, Pantone's 2018 Color of the Year will be "Ultra Violet, a "spiritual, cosmic" purple that "communicates originality ingenuity and visionary thinking that point us toward the future".

Maybe ultra violet is a mature shade of millenial pink? This shade of purple is very reminiscent of late icon Prince and Purple Rain although Pantone's hue is much more brighter and mysterious.

You may have missed the memo that Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2017 was ‘Greenery’ in the mist of all the millennial pink. The influential colour forecaster picks a very specific colour every year that creeps into trends, interiors and wardrobes worldwide and this year’s refreshing yellowy-green supposed to symbolise nature and new beginnings. We’re bringing this up now because 2018’s colour has just been announced: ‘Ultra Violet’. Not be to confused with ‘Love Symbol #2’- iconic artist Prince’s official hue- this dark, blue based purple is brighter and more mysterious; signalling originality, forward thinking and mindfulness. It’s actually very close to Cadbury’s chocolate purple, which is as good an excuse as any to tote and try as many flavours as possible in the coming year. And both 2017 and 2018 shades are surprising easy to wear: whether head-to-toe a la Versace SS18 for Ultra Violet or teamed with other tones if you’re discerning about the shade.

Get into ‘Greenery’ for the rest of the month then pop in ‘Ultra Violet’ from January with our ready-to-shop edits below!

Kate Middleton's maternity clothing during her third pregnancy has been nothing short of brilliant as expected. As all other simple future-to-be mommies Kate's wardrobe is a mix of newly purchased pieces and long-term faves.

For example, after paying a visit to the Hornsey Road Childre's Centre in London yesterday, she went for her old Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley HalfnHalf Stretch Knee-High Boots. If you're a die hard Kate Middleton fan, you may have noticed that she has worn the same boots styled differently a few times over the past 3 years.

The chic royal boots were the Princesse's go - to boot as she styled it with a classic knee-length purple dress in 2014, and for equestrian looks in 2017. We're absolutely lusting over those practical, cool and comfy boots and that's why they are our Instacrush of the week.

Head to our gallery for more inspiration and shop them as well as more affordable options, from our exclusive edit below.

Interior design is one of the most satisfying things to try out, especially when you move into a new home. There's nothing better than choosing styles and furniture that suit your personality to a T. So here are a few suggestions to really get your inspiration going! • Try designing a room using only three colours. Using one colour can be boring and make a room feel quite plain and not as homely; however adding an extra colour or two can really bring that little bit more vibrancy. Obviously choose colours that match or compliment each other well. Personally, I would go for grey, a light purple/violet and silver. • Try a vintage inspired look. There are thousands of beautiful pieces of vintage furniture out there and putting them all together will add character to your house or a particular room. One feature piece that I love is an old vintage type writer! • Decide whether you want wallpaper or painted walls. This can be a tricky decision as some types of wallpaper can be a little full on when they cover an entire room. In this case, you could choose to have one wall as the feature wall, this being covered in your chosen wallpaper, and then the rest of the walls painted. Again, make sure the colour of the paint suits the wallpaper. • Pick a theme. It is always nice to have some type of theme within a room. This could be based on a colour, or the type of furniture, or even an era. You might decide that you want something quite floral, or abstract, but again it depends on the room you are designing. At the end of the day the decision is up to you so be creative! Photo credit: Pinterest

After much debate with myself, a lot of #Shopcade and #Pinterest searching and scrolling #BeautyBay for the perfect #Morphe palette I decided to dress up as a unicorn for Halloween. This was such a fun look to create. I worked purples and pinks into the crease of my eyes before highlighting the lid with a pigmented gold. A slick of black liner and some #Eyelure lashes and my unicorn eyes were complete. I then contoured my face with deep purple blended with pink and of course covered my face in glitter. Isn't that what all unicorns do? I would love another excuse to try this with different colours. There is no wrong way with fancy dress make up and the more colour (and glitter) the better.

A woman can wear a beautiful makeup. Lipticks and rouges are very important for her today's look. A rouge can be red, brown, purple, beige or pink etc. You can choose one from my list and be brave to wear it. :)
