A perfectly streamlined closet is one that is updated regularly, ideally every season. The best way to closet cleanse is to clear out the items that you haven't worn in the past 6 months and fill out the space with fresh and exciting items, both seasonal and instant classics. Now, the problem with this process is that new collections are expensive and items are full-priced, and past collections, although on sale, are well, so in the past. Which is why we're very excited about Ted Baker's Autumn Shopping event, offering 20% off its entire new collection.

From wool coats and dazzling dresses, to cozy knitwear and stylish separates, there's definitely something that will make you smile this season. As for the men in our lives, Ted’s tailoring ranges from classic to contemporary styles and has a selection of top quality casuals. Take your pick from statement prints to luxe textures and distinctive silhouettes! You can also snatch an array of accessories for both ladies and gents at 20% off.

Hurry! The sale lasts from Wednesday 18th October to Friday 21st October! See the full collection here and browse our favourite items in our exclusive edit below:

A real Hero! The divas of the small screen inspire us this Halloween. Games Of Thrones: Noble or warrior, transform in a medieval muse, with pieces that give you power! Metalic parts are the ideal shields to succeed in conquering the throne of style. Downton Abbey: This story inspires us to be graceful and elegant. Mad Men: Prints that give us 60s vibes. Girls: Young girls in the city. Fun and bold prints that captivate us. Credits: Fashionista

It's been another great Fashion month and now with PFW drawing the curtain we can round up the best moments and predict the trends that will inform the next Spring/ Summer season!

OVERALL TONE: GLAMOUR MEETS GLITTER!

We've seen a shift from blunt norm core to glitz and frivolity and after fashion month it's evident that this trend is here to stay. Designers want to celebrate the joy of life during darker times. Dries van Noten dedicated her collection to "The Optimist", who knows how to break the rules. The sneaker gave way to its more glamorous version of the Manolo - as a nod both to the glitz and glam but also to the Carrie Bradshaw look that defined the early 00's resurgence that we're experiencing now. We also saw puffed hemline dresses at Saint Laurent, as director Anthony Vaccarello paid a tribute to Pierre Berge, Yves Saint Lauren't long time business and life partner. The end result was a beautiful show of feathers, frills, shimmer and satin. Alessandro Del' Acqua's creations emphasized on big satin separates and glittery dresses full of bold patterns and colours. At Maison Margiela, John Galliano's version of glitz was crystals, feathers and mirror embellishments on coats and dresses. Makes you want to party no matter what.

PANTSUITS AT CELINE

Tennis Club de Paris: Phoebe Philo showcases a stunning collection at a giant-tent bubble structure while Mary J. Blige's rendition of "You're All I Need", blasted through the speakers. The runway was flocked with extra wearable garments for example oversized suits with large trench coats reminiscent of an 80's power businesswoman. The colour palette was equally 80s scrumptious meaning pistachio pastel pink and fair yellow. Another element introduced by CELINE was extreme fringing on the hem of flapper-style dresses. When it came to accessories the theme was volume: oversize totes, balloon like clutches, big gold buckle belts, and chunky white lace oxfords.

HELEN MIRREN & JANE FONDA at L'Oreal x Balmain

The location was Paris Champs de Elysees and the occasion was the L' Oreal x Balmain fall 2017 collaboration. The show starred an array of stunning models like Doutzeb Kroues and Liya Kebede and two movie icons Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda. Mirren was dresses in a suit a la garconne while whipping her cane around with prolific elegance and confidence. Jane Fonda on the other hand, threw peace signs and really owned the long runway. A true inspiration seeing two ladies well into their 70s (Jane Fonda turns 80 at the end of 2017) strutting their stuff with pride.

VIRGIL ABLOH RECREATES ICONIC DIANA SUITS

More specifically, Abloh took the people's princess most wearable looks as an inspiration board just four weeks after the 20th anniversary of her death. The challenge was to re-invent those items without sacrifising them and coming up with a collection that would be in line with the current fashion climate. The result was briliiantly made tartan suits, graphic prints, prim coctail suits, polished whites, polka dot suits, and pastel coloured numbers.

One of the biggest moments of Milan Fashion week was marked by the Spring/ Summer 2018 Versace show. Models Carla Bruni, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Cambell strutted down the catwalk in gold floor-length gowns to pay homage to Donatella Versace's brother, Gianni Versace. They proved that beauty knows no age when great style and personality are thrown in the peculiar mix of supermodels.#222222">

The original 90s models walked the runway to celebrate the Versace brand and Gianni's legacy. At the end of the show, as the curtain was drawn, a voice announced " Gianni, this is for you", revealing the nineties icons and the George Michael track Freedom shortly followed as they walked down the catwalk. The collection featured classic baroque Versace prints as well as innovations, including a beautiful black dress with scooped neckline. The late Gianni Versace has been widely credited for the invention of the supermodel.

The 2018 show was also graced by the new faces in the millennial Supermodel generation including Kaia Gerber and Gigi Hadid. A refreshing view on fashion, the show demonstrated that age does not dictate style or beauty!

The waist bag is having a moment and can be spotted all over the fashion week streets this September. Originally associated with the 1980s bumbag, it has recovered from its retro image and been given new luxury status.

The best thing about this bag? Its hand free and can be worn as a practical belt, and will instantly elevate your outfit. Alessandro Michele's Gucci Pre-Fall 2018 ad campaign featured that classic GG Marmont matelesse bag in Fall 2017 and finally a much anticipated belt bag for Resort 2018.

Soon influencers, fashion editors, and celebrities from Rihanna to Kendall Jenner fell in love with the luxe belt bag. We are dying to get our hands on one of these!

Their famous GG logo was displayed on everything from necklaces to prints, and of course their bags. In celebration of the show, we've selected the best of the GG belt bags below.

What can we do when August hits and all you see when you look out the office window is rain? Well, yes, you prep for the imminent drop of A/W17 collections.

Let’s be honest here, we have been over summer for a while now and for most we’ve already lost our tan. For the ones who are yet to go enjoy the sun, well don’t complain if when you come back there is nothing left in store. Who leaves in August anyways?

As usual it all started with Instagram when we spotted the fashion pack wearing new season pieces and suddenly we knew we would want them all. Being a woman and therefore being a natural supporter of the feminist cause it seemed normal the power-woman tailored trend spoke to us. Worn by the likes of Mira Duma and Gilda Ambrosio it is a must-have this winter and it will make us happy to go to work, or the coffee shop for that matter, just to rock that executive look.

And because our job here is to find the best of the best for you ,well we found it. Ted Baker’s new A/W17 collection truly has it all! If you want to make the trend work for you there is no better place to start.

With a wide array of tailored pieces made of luxurious fabrics, we are in love. Upgrade your everyday look with otherworldly prints with names such as Kyoto Gardens, sporting butterflies which we learn are the symbol of love and transformation, a perfect omen for a successful back to school season.

If you fancy something a bit more understated, prefer one of their impeccable jumpsuit or tailored dress coming with lace detailing or subtle ruffles, you will be sure to make the right impression no matter the occasion.

Accessories have not been forgotten with feminine heels, silky scarves and structured purses. Throw a delicate kimono jacket - super hot this season - a soft leather vest or a wool and cashmere blend neutral coat for the most perfect professional finish.

See, we told you summer was overrated!

Discover our favourite pieces in the selection below or shop Ted’s entire A/W17 collection here.

There's nothing new about the orient trend but this year designers really embraced the opulence and exoticism of the far east craze. Jacquard embroidered bomber jackets, oriental prints, Kyoto garden florals and kimonos were all seen on the catwalks.

From top designers Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana to your favourite high street brands Ted Baker, PrettyLittleThing and Stradivarius, we are seeing signs of Shanghai nights everywhere. From dramatic oriental prints on silk, to dragons, tigers, floral embroidery and bags garnished with animalia hardware.

The orient trend offers an amazing way to look astonishingly elegant and glamorous. If you don't necessarily want to stop traffic but still like a touch of the Far East go for one statement piece such as a slinky floral dress, a pair of gold earrings or silk kimono robe.

Indulge in our exclusive edit of our must-have orient-inspired pieces below and shop your favourites!
