No one was expecting that Queen Elizabeth II would sit in the front row for the very first time, on the closing day of London Fashion Week The monarch presented the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Awards for British Design to Richard Quinn and sat through his entire collection. But who is Richard Quinn that made Fashion and Royalty history?

BOLD PRINTS

He established his namesake label in 2016 after graduating from Central Saint Martins with the Fashion MA. He's made a name for himself for his feminine silhouettes and bold use of print.

HIGH STREET LINK

Quinn collaborated with  H&M last September on a collection after winning the H&M  Design Award that was filled with prints. So it came as no surprise that this year he'll be launching another collaboration with a high street giant. SOUTHEAST LONDONER

He was raised in South East London and kept true to his roots by opening his design studio in Peckham. In addition to his design studio, he offers digital and print services especially to up and coming designers, as well as printing workshops.

FIRST QUEEN ELIZABETH II WINNER

He's the first designer to be awarded the prestigious nomination which will now be presented annually to a designer that "showcases talent and originality while demonstrating value to the community and/or sustainable policies”.If you're in the mood for some print extravaganza shop your favourite styles from our expert edit below!

Let us start by wishing the Pisces people of the world a happy birthday! Perhaps the most famous and iconic Pisces around right now Rihanna, who has the zodiac symbol tattooed on her neck, turned #dirtythirty this week and commemorated the occasion by releasing limited editions of her best-selling Fenty Beauty highlighter Trophy Wife. And fellow Pisces Justin Beiber will surely celebrate with on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez when his birthday comes around. We’re bringing this up because the qualities dreamy Pisces seem to share are sensitivity, imagination and compassion, according to Susan Miller, which may be worth keeping in mind when picking their birthday gift. This water sign’s symbol is two fish tied together swimming in opposite directions which is why pet fish, anything with a fish motif or water-related may be well appreciated.

There are Pisces cards and so much thematic jewellery to update their jewellery boxes with in whatever shade of gold, stone, style or motif they like best. Charms are cool because they can be attached to styles they already own and the earrings we’ve seen will be great additions to their everyday uniform. And if you really want to spoil them, and you know their shoe size, head to Moda Operandi to pick out an exclusive pair of red soled Christian Louboutin with their initials, date of birth, zodiac symbol and constellation embroidered on the body in metallic thread. For their home, what about a colourful fish print for their wall, a mug for their tea, a fish print laundry basket or even a Pisces pillow?

Animal prints are never out of fashion. Never! Each year we see leopard on skirts or blouses or jackets. Yet, now these exotic prints are having a makeover! With bold and neon colours, for Autumn Winter 2018 collections, designers went overboard with this style! I personally think it's the best way to make a statement and it looks so much fun to style it! Try this look now for a test run... #animalprint #trend #fashion #autumnwinter #leopard #zebra #pattern #print #streetstyle #style

The A/W18 Gareth Pugh line has been revealed at Fashion Week. There was a lot of pinstripe action and, *takes deep breath* leopard print. Oh the leopard print. Leopard print is one of my favourite patterns to wear - on shoes, on coats, you name it. I love he drama here from Pugh, leopard on leopard and so many angles. I can't wait to see how this is emulated on the high street. I'm hoping for bold prints and even sharper shapes. Image: Getty Images

@tomford runway was really sassy and extravagant. The red print on the pants, bag and dress are just hot fire. Maybe the pants are too much to wear them on an everyday basis but as a lover of everything red, i would use the bag even during office hours. We go back to the past with Tom Ford, back to the most scandalous era the 90's: animal print, the sequins, and the garish colours. You can expect in this collection minidresses, tight overalls and shiny leggings that are bold and insultingly sexy. Look at my gallery for more inspiration. Credits: Pinterest

Hands up if you only watch the Super Bowl for the American national anthem and the halftime show? Us too, and also for an annual real life sighting of the supermodel Gisele as she supports her husband, the record-breaking star New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady with their family. Although this year the 5 time world champions didn’t retain their trophy in Super Bowl LII as the so-called ‘underdogs’ Philadelphia Eagles beat them 41-33, with Brandon Graham's incredible strip-sack knocking the ball out of Brady’s hands. That’s a very rough summary of the actual American football played because we were most excited to see Justin Timberlake in his comeback gig, to crown the release of his new album 'Man of the Woods.' P!nk had wowed belting out ’The Star-Spangled Banner’ with the flu earlier on.

Timberlake had a tough task following Lady Gaga’s epic performance last year and Beyonce’s stunning politically-charged rendition of ‘Formation’ the year before, and the talented singer-dancer didn’t quite reach the same heights. His mandate seemed to be family friendly rather than forward-thinking and so Timberlake dutifully delivered: slickly dancing his way through a medley of his greatest hits including ‘Rock your Body’ (which he did at his 2003 Super Bowl show with Janet Jackson that lead to #nipplegate), ‘Señorita’, ‘My Love’, ‘Sexy Back’, 'Cry me a River', ‘Suit and Tie’, ‘End of Time’ at a piano and ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ to close.

There were no NSYNC, Janet Jackson or ‘Filthy’ robot appearances but plenty of backing dancers, a live brass band and a few sound issues; and Timberlake did pay tribute to the late Prince, as the game was being staged in his hometown Minnesota, by covering ‘I Would Die 4 U’. The late legendary artist was projected next to him as a video rather than a ‘demonic’ hologram and his fans weren’t happy as Prince reportedly didn’t like Timberlake. Unlike longterm Timberlake’s fans from his NSYNC and ‘Justified' days who voiced their approval on social media, but the whole thing did little to inspire a new generation, as the young man who got a selfie with Timberlake hinted by his actions.

What Timberlake wore also sparked plenty of debate and memes. Fresh out of Stella McCartney’s AW18 menswear collection (so not in stores yet) and in line with his new ‘country with R’n’b roots’ sound, he sported a deer scene shirt with a cameo splatter print and Prince of Wales check suit, a red bandana around his neck, a fringed leather jacket and chunky white Nike sneakers which looked like custom Jordans. GQ has full details/sketches and it was the most progressive thing about the performance- a fresh way to pull off clashing prints for men.

So if you want to, or you’d like your boyfriend to dress like Timberlake, admire his instagram shots in the gallery above, watch the halftime show here and then shop our edit of similar styles below.
