Now that spring is here, we’re seeing some next level nail art on our feeds and in the street. From pressed flower manis to pops of pastel colour, the new season has inspired beauty buffs to take their nail game to new heights.

While some prefer to let a professional technician work their magic, there are so many easy ways to achieve a salon-perfect mani at home. We’ve looked into some of the best spring nail looks and put together an affordable edit of the tools you need to give your nails a spring spruce up.

Florals are an obvious trend for spring but floral nails? That’s taking the trend seriously. Use flecks of glitter and pastel polishes to create nail art inspired by your favourite blooms. Or, cheat and opt for press-on nails, wraps and stickers to get the look.

Love to shine? Pearly tones and bright glitters are the way forward. Loved by Cara Delevigne for a hint off-duty chic, glitter nail polish is always a winner in our book. Swap your winter tones for bright pinks, peaches, silver and rose gold.

Shop the edit below and create nail art to rival your favourite beauty bloggers this spring…

Another fabulous Coachella look. This is very feminine and 'girly' but the fringing is quite heavy which strikes a great balance. I love the bell sleeves on the jacket. The pastels and pinks update a truly seventies look. A great outfit to pair with cowboy boots to totally complete the vibe of the era. Of course the round sunglasses are Annie to that seventies style too. Perfect festival wear. Image: Getty Images

We've solved all your sartorial woes. With Easter just a hop away, we are ready to welcome spring, even if the sun is playing hide and seek with us at the moment. This long-awaited weekend is finally happening, and it’s on you to decide how you spend it.

Family time or brunch with your best friends, your style should always be on point. We wrote a guide to be ready for every Easter occasion, keeping in mind how to reuse your outfits later this spring...

Pastels and florals

It’s hard to miss it, pastel colours are everywhere this season, and Easter is just another occasion to sport it. Lilac, pale yellow, baby blue… you name it! Frilly dresses or suits, these pieces are a must-have this season. Paired with high heels, you can choose its little sister, the floral print, if you don’t feel like lilac.

Casual and cool

Easter Sunday is the perfect excuse for a nice brunch with friends. You might want to dress up a little bit, with this je-ne-sais-quoi. Opt for trainers with a nice leather jacket, and a nice trousers or maybe that dress which has been laying in your dressing room for that night out that never came.

Get outdoors

Spring is officially here but weather lets us a bit indecisive how to dress up appropriately when it comes to walks. Wellies or boots, sport them with a casual pair of jeans and a teeshirt, but don’t forget your raincoat and sunnies, to be ready for every situation! To stay in easter mood, think pastels!.

Egg hunter chic

No egg hunt can happen without a proper basket bag. And good news, this year is wicker bag time! Mix it with a print dress, or some shorts and your favorites sunnies (if weather is ever in our favour this weekend!), but don’t forget to feel comfy to wonder around to find the precious eggs everyone is talking about.

Chilling at home

This weekend activity might resume into moving between your sofa and bed, catching up on your favorite TV shows and this book you’ve been longing to finish. But staying at home doesn’t have to necessarily mean to enjoy some staycation without style. Head for nice pyjamas or cosy outfits, and nice slippers, before finishing your look with your beloved accessories. If any unexpected guest shows up, you’ll be ready for a nice time together.

You all know by now that I am a huge faux fur fan. I am especially drawn to the bold colours, I just cannot keep away. As I start thinking about my summer wardrobe I obviously need a new way to infuse faux fur into my outfits. Bags are a great way to do this especially in pastels like this. I am obsessed for a start with the colour - amazing. I also love the Dolce. Usually I'm not keen on designers plastering their name on products, but this is so much fun. Image: Vogue

My favorite kinds of pastels for spring are vibrant pastels so when I saw amrezy killing it as per usual in this gorgeous pink coat I couldn´t keep my eyes away.  This color is such a staple in spring fashion, and even with a cute dress for daytime instead of jeans, this coat would look good placing it over the shoulders.  photo credits: @amrezy on twitter #fashion #spring #amrezy #outfit

The Moschino look was fuelled by pastels. Pink lips and glittering eyes were painted onto the Moschino models thanks to Kabuki. Whilst it was mainly cat-eye flicks and Jackie O wigs some of the models were painted in bright hues to offset the colours of the clothes. This is a look that can totally be recreated with a slick of liquid liner and some light blush. Image: Jamie Stoker

I love scouring the internet for interior inspo - probably inspo I'll. ever be able to act on in my rented house but fun all the same. This look is just stunning. Pastels have been such an integral part of all fashion and interior trends over the last year and it's so great to see it lasting. The contrast of pastel and bold pinks is effortless. The copper detailing is just the right amount of embellishment for these cute colours. Image: The Sunday Times online

We've already talked about red boots but as mentioned white boots are also a must-have. I adore this Topshop pair - the Alfie Buckle Boots. The boots themselves aren't too heavy which makes the buckle even more of a focal point. Whilst they wouldn't be described as dainty I would definitely pair them with a feminine tea dress and some pastels. The perfect contrasting coordination. Image: Topshop
