It's been another great Fashion month and now with PFW drawing the curtain we can round up the best moments and predict the trends that will inform the next Spring/ Summer season!

OVERALL TONE: GLAMOUR MEETS GLITTER!

We've seen a shift from blunt norm core to glitz and frivolity and after fashion month it's evident that this trend is here to stay. Designers want to celebrate the joy of life during darker times. Dries van Noten dedicated her collection to "The Optimist", who knows how to break the rules. The sneaker gave way to its more glamorous version of the Manolo - as a nod both to the glitz and glam but also to the Carrie Bradshaw look that defined the early 00's resurgence that we're experiencing now. We also saw puffed hemline dresses at Saint Laurent, as director Anthony Vaccarello paid a tribute to Pierre Berge, Yves Saint Lauren't long time business and life partner. The end result was a beautiful show of feathers, frills, shimmer and satin. Alessandro Del' Acqua's creations emphasized on big satin separates and glittery dresses full of bold patterns and colours. At Maison Margiela, John Galliano's version of glitz was crystals, feathers and mirror embellishments on coats and dresses. Makes you want to party no matter what.

PANTSUITS AT CELINE

Tennis Club de Paris: Phoebe Philo showcases a stunning collection at a giant-tent bubble structure while Mary J. Blige's rendition of "You're All I Need", blasted through the speakers. The runway was flocked with extra wearable garments for example oversized suits with large trench coats reminiscent of an 80's power businesswoman. The colour palette was equally 80s scrumptious meaning pistachio pastel pink and fair yellow. Another element introduced by CELINE was extreme fringing on the hem of flapper-style dresses. When it came to accessories the theme was volume: oversize totes, balloon like clutches, big gold buckle belts, and chunky white lace oxfords.

HELEN MIRREN & JANE FONDA at L'Oreal x Balmain

The location was Paris Champs de Elysees and the occasion was the L' Oreal x Balmain fall 2017 collaboration. The show starred an array of stunning models like Doutzeb Kroues and Liya Kebede and two movie icons Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda. Mirren was dresses in a suit a la garconne while whipping her cane around with prolific elegance and confidence. Jane Fonda on the other hand, threw peace signs and really owned the long runway. A true inspiration seeing two ladies well into their 70s (Jane Fonda turns 80 at the end of 2017) strutting their stuff with pride.

VIRGIL ABLOH RECREATES ICONIC DIANA SUITS

More specifically, Abloh took the people's princess most wearable looks as an inspiration board just four weeks after the 20th anniversary of her death. The challenge was to re-invent those items without sacrifising them and coming up with a collection that would be in line with the current fashion climate. The result was briliiantly made tartan suits, graphic prints, prim coctail suits, polished whites, polka dot suits, and pastel coloured numbers.

This week's best dressed roundup has a bunch of very immaculately dressed women! Goodbye denims, sneakers, and tees—today we're here to pay homage to pencil skirts, chic off-shoulder tops and dresses, and an overall perfectly tailored aesthetic.

Alia Bhatt
Alia has been throwing us beautiful outfit after beautiful outfit this week, and this one was our favourite after much deliberation. She looked gorgeous in a pair of patterned palazzos and a beige crop top for a Children's Day event.

Neha Dhupia
Neha's been rocking some pretty great outfits recently as she promotes her upcoming movie Moh Maya Money, and we absolutely loved this one! She rocked a navy midi skirt, a smart matching shirt, and classic nude heels.

Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti joined the ranks of smart casual in a monochromatic checked romper and black oxfords.

Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa Shetty may make few public appearances, but whenever she does show herself, she's always dressed great! This time around, she wore a Bardot dress in a super pretty baby blue colour.

Vaani Kapoor
At one of her promotional events for Befikre, Vaani sported a super chic outfit of an off-shoulder white top, and a skirt with a sexy black lace insert.

However glamorous, life of a blogger can be crazy busy and exhausting if you're looking to build networks and continuous collaborate. Every day, we head out with our head up high, but return home tired and completely drained of energy, so much that it shows on our faces! It's why we asked fashion blogger Pallavi of Moda Ninja for a few tips, because no matter when we see her, there's always a refreshing glow on her face!

Read on for a few beauty tips from her and also to know a little bit about her life.

Shopcade HQ (SHQ): What do you do?
Pallavi (P): I am a part time fashion blogger, part-time fashion consultant and sustainable development consultant.

SHQ: How do you best describe your style
P: My style is a mix of boho chic and androgyny.

SHQ: Your fail-safe outfit/product
P: Shirt dress in bright colours like red or yellow, can easily dress it up with heels and jewellery or dress down with a chambray shirt and oxfords or casual with wedges and some neck piece!

SHQ: One trend you are loving at the moment
P: I have ligament tear in both my ankles so I love the 'sneakers with everything' trend.

SHQ: One trend/product you would never wear, if any
P: *smirks* Crocs!

SHQ: Long fashion week days - what are your tips?
P:
1. Wash and blow-dry hair first day so you save time for next 3 days.
2. Wear comfortable shoes
3. Carry battery back up, body spray and mint!

SHQ: Things you can't leave without when heading to an event?
P: Battery backup, credit card, body spray, lip balm, mint, notebook pen and visiting cards.

SHQ: With this fast paced lifestyle, any tips for skincare?
P:
1. Hydrate your body, drink lots of water with a slice of lemon and mint to keep up with socialising at parties and oily food!
2. Take off your makeup, however tired you are after the Diwali parties. I apply aloe vera gel fresh from plant with honey on my face, it is loaded with antioxidants and is good for sensitive skin and sunburns.

Does this make your life easier? Well, it definitely helped us a lot!

Crochet is not just for older women! If worn the correct garment and styled properly, it can look incredibly chic and stylist. What we love about crochet is it is extremely versatile and looks good in every form of garment you can think of! You don't have to be a certain type of person to rock crochet, and no matter girly or boho -- we can tell you just how you should style it. Here are some outfit ideas to inspire you.

Skirt
You'd think it's pretty conservative to wear a crochet skirt, but trust us it's not! A beautiful crochet skirt looks good with almost everything. Style these with cotton crop tops, shirts, with a sling bag or oxfords, you'll look incredibly gorgeous no matter what!

Tops
Who doesn't love a crochet top? Wear a crochet crop top with denims, skirts or trousers and we promise the top will always emerge as a star. You can also wear these underneath blazers or shirts for a modified look.

Shorts
The best kind of crochet shorts are the denim ones which have a small crochet patch on them. If you're not a fan of that combination, a simple crochet shorts in white or beige colour always works! If your shorts are bright and neon colour, team them up with a more subtle top and you'll be ready for fun evening with friends.

Dress
What's a dress without a crochet hem? The answer is boring. Team them with oxfords, brogues and a satchel bag.

We have seen this trend everywhere courtesy of 70s rockstars who made it popular and it’s what we’d like to call a classic. Be it skinny, baggy, coloured, boyfriend, or cropped, ripped jeans are here to stay forever and are a must have for every wardrobe.

Take a lesson in cool from our Bollywood divas who were seen rocking ripped jeans all over social media and take cue from us to learn how to rock them yourself.

1. Give it a sporty look!
Opt for a high-waist pair of ripped denims and a crop top for a chic and sporty look. Alternately, you could choose to throw on an oversized t-shirt or shirt because nothing looks and feels more comfortable than oversized boyfriend clothing.

2. Strut with style
Ripped jeans don’t always have to look super sporty. If you want to make a serious fashion statement at a party or event, complete your look by wearing peeptoes or lace up sandals and you’re good to go. We love sneakers but if the look feels excessively ordinary, put on a pair of oxfords to bring back the oomph to your outfit.

3. Jazz it up
For a slightly more femme and cutesy look, take serious fashion advice from Deepika and Parineeta and throw a long coat or shrug on. Break free from the ripped jeans stereotype and pull out those printed capes to be a super woman extraordinaire!

4. Add a pop of colour
Nobody likes a dull ensemble! If you’re going for all plain colours, don’t think twice before choosing a bright colour for your lips. Bring out the boho goddess in you by styling your hair in a high ponytail or braid for final touches.

5. Finish the look
If you think you can do without a backpack, then you’re so wrong! Opt for comfy oversized bags to go with the look and throw on a hat to save yourself from this cruel sun.

With the busy lives we city girls lead nowadays, transitional dressing has become a regular feature in our routines. Our busy jobs simply don’t leave us the option of going home to get dressed for any post-work plans! So what’s a girl to do?

Here’s our guide on the perfect spring pieces that you can wear to office and rework after-hours!

Midi skirt
This season, minis and maxis have both stepped aside to make room for the new superstar: midi skirts! Opt for a flow-y skirt that’s cinched at the waist, as it flatters most figures and works with different tops.

For work, pair it with a tucked in boyfriend shirt.

For evening, switch out the shirt for a cute crop top.

Tailored dress in a pastel hue
Add a spring pop of fun to a tailored dress by opting for one with cute pleats at the hem, and go for a fun pastel colour! To decide whether this kind of dress is meant for the office or for post-work drinks, all you have to do is switch up your footwear from flats to heels.

Skinny pants and patterned blazer
This is a classic combo that works for almost any event. Go for a blazer with a bold pattern, because prints are in this season, and it adds more of a spring feel to your outfit!

Pair this combination with a classic white shirt for office, and switch it out for a crop top for evening wear.

Skirted dungarees
Regular dungarees are boring - we’re all about skirted dungarees for a more interesting look!

Pair with a fitted top and oxford shoes. To go off-duty, swap out the oxfords for sneakers.

Red carpet appearances and photoshoots are all well and good, but music videos are another fab source of fashion inspo in Bollywood these days!

Here are the latest music video outfits that are making us feel all sorts of ways.

Kareena Kapoor in High Heels Te Nachche (Ki & Ka)
Take a cue from Bebo’s super androgynous style in this song - a black blazer with black pants, and black oxfords. So dapper.

Jacqueline Fernandez in GF BF
Video Song We loved all of her outfits in this music video, but our fav has got to be the sassy black playsuit with thigh-high latex boots. So sexy!

Oxfords are a classic for a reason. By adding instant chic, they can turn any outfit around! Today, we look at the stars for some tips and tricks on how to work them into our everyday outfits.

Rock them with a girly dress like Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has all but claimed the Oxford shoe as her signature! And you don’t a pair of trousers to work this classic. Like TayTay, pair it with a flowy chiffon dress instead.

Go chic like Kendall Jenner
Throw in a metallic pair to give your monotone ensemble a complete facelift.

Pair them with skinny jeans like Deepika Padukone
Swap your sneakers with this classic, and see how it automatically lifts your outfit. So snap, right?

With boyfriend jeans like Kangana Ranaut
Oxfords are a great way to add an element of sharpness to a laid-back outfit.

Wear them with a short jumpsuit like Freida Pinto
Clearly, it pairs well with patterns as well!

Oxfords are ultra cute and step up your outfit not matter what you put together. Even if you step out in a white t-shirt and rolled up jeans, if you slap on some oxfords your style goes through the roof.

What I love about these shoes is they’re constantly being reinvented and constantly evolving. They’ve come a long way since your black and white oxfords in the ‘50s, and now you can get them in all colors, materials and heights.

I’m loving the oxfords on this list, what are your go-tos?
