Pastel power suits are the latest IT-trend to emerge from the streets. This unpredictable Miami Vice-inspired craze started during Fashion Month and quickly spread into our everyday wardrobes.

Pale greens, tender blues, dainty violets and sweet lemon are contesting traditional black and grey suits. Pastel hues, are taking over this spring both on the high street – think Mango and Zara but also the high end, with some incredible offerings from Tibi and Vetements.

How to wear a pastel suit?

Ice-cream chic tones can be paired with monochrome or clashed with other pastel shades in an array of styles; pinstripes, corduroy or knits, just take your pick.

A pastel suit also looks striking when styled with white accessories. Add a pair of white booties, an oversized white tote or a white jacket and elevate your mint power suit. Or why not go bolder and pair a lemon overcoat with a lilac suit and white sneakers.

Take Janette Madsen's Scandi-chic approach and mix tailored pastel pieces – imagine a lemon-yellow pants with a blush-pink sweater and blazer, pastel perfection.

Editor’s Tip: Don't be afraid to mix your pastel-hued wardrobe with shimmering metallics for a stand-out evening look.

Are you ready to rock the pastel power suit this season? Head to our gallery for inspiration and shop your favourite looks from our edit below…

One of the most immediate trends to emerge from fashion month was anything and everything plastic. Whether it was see-through opac black made of PVC or vinyl, plastic interpretations were appearing everywhere during AW18. Think long practical raincoats at Burberry, moto futurism at Valentino or Chanel's chic 1960's see-through version including capes and boots.

Even Yeeze caught in on the trend and presented thigh-high tubular boots. Most designers were looking at the trend ironically, attempting to elevate the plastic fabric which is associated with food preservation to a fashion trend. Kind of like 2010's obsession with trash bags.

Street style was also heavily focused on plastic wear especially when it came to rain gear. Admittedly this trend is challenging to wear IRL even though the synthetic fabric has made its way into our mainstream attire starting from the collections of all our sartorial favourites.#000000">

It was Karl Lagerfeld who truly gave PVC an haute couture dimension not only by the artistry with which he crafted the clothes but also by styling them with modern Chanel tweed suits. They were word under feminine hooded rain capes in plastic, denim jackets and skirts were trimmed with plastic fringe while he created low-heeled boots in clear plastic as a luxury alternative to our common rain boot. Similarly, Demna Gvasalia and Acne Studios opted for sleek plastic raincoats.

This season the trend dominated New York and London alike. Philipp Plein was most experimental by layering faux fur and metallic pieces while Jeremy Scott opted for Space age and taking cues from Barbarella in the 1960's.When it comes to styling, work the trend around your everyday essentials instead of adopting a head-to-toe look.

Take influencer Yoyo Cao's example by layering a transparent overcoat over a classic camel trench, white tee and distressed denim. Try a plastic trench belted with a Gucci belt or simply invest in plastic accessories: From a see-through bag to a hat or boots, there's always a more nuanced way to incorporate plastic in your everyday attire.

If one of the viral garments of the year 2010 was the famous blue dress that Kate Middleton wore in the announcement of her engagement to Prince William, everything points to the white overcoat that Meghan Markle wore to posed before the press with Prince Harry is going to follow the same path. The networks went crazy with this model of the Canadian brand Line, and the firm itself has reacted with a brilliant marketing movement: renamed the coat as 'the Meghan'. Credits: Instyle

Airport looks are always super fun to look at because they have it all— from super casual to chic and dressy. So here are our favourite ones from the past week!

Tamannah Bhatia
Tamannah kept it super casual yet stylish with a ripped white top, simple jeans, and white sneakers.

Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline is a regular in our best-dressed lists for a reason! This time around, she created an unusual yet fashionable combo with a Topshop LBD and a powder blue overcoat from AM>:PM, the brand she endorses. You finished off her look with an ultra cute owl purse.

Huma Qureshi
Now this is what you call a classic outfit! Huma paired ripped jeans with a black bomber jacket and an evergreen pair of aviator sunnies.

Deepika Padukone
Deepika's outfit showed us that you don't need to spend ages looking for matching tops and bottoms to look stylish! She absolutely killed it with this black satin jumpsuit and classic pointy-toed heels.

Kangana Ranaut
Kangana should write a book about how to effortlessly combine formal and casual wear for a super cool result! We loved the pinstriped pants and matching blazer which she teamed with a white tee and classic white sneakers.

Award season is back around the bend, and we're ready with our fashion goggles on!

At the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, our fave Hollywood A-listers went all out with their sartorial choices, where some were hits and others were a little more risky.

We have rounded up our top 5 in both categories, so read on to see who wore what!

Best Looks:

1) Blake Lively: Blake was exuding some serious dark goddess vibes in a black mermaid gown, complete with gold accents and a classy updo. She looked like elegance personified, and we think her classic choice was a big hit!

2) Gal Gadot: Who said maternity fashion is drab and matronly? Gal Gadot proved that wrong in a stunning slitted gown with a plunging neckline. We think that she looks absolutely amazing!

3) Priyanka Chopra: As opposed to Blake Lively's dark goddess, PC went for a more bronzed goddess look. She wore a beautiful full sleeved gown embellished with warm toned embroidery, and paired it with a beautiful terracotta lip colour. Definitely red carpet goals!

4) Emma Stone: Coming off of her fantastical film La La Land, Emma Stone payed tribute to the film in a gown covered in stars. We think she looks beautiful, and the gown shits her skin tone perfectly!

5) Natalie Portman: Natalie payed homage to Jackie Kennedy in this stunning yellow Prada gown, complete with her hair pulled back and some elegant earrings to complete the look. Simple, chic, and an ode to the 60s, this outfit is stunning!

Risky Looks:

1) Nicole Kidman: Nicole certainly took a big risk in terns of the colour of her dress, as she opted for a starkly white and silver, cold shouldered gown. The dress was embellished with distressed white ruffles at the bottom, which blended into the dress.

2) Sarah Jessica Parker: A pure white princess dress can sometimes be a little dated, just like SJP. The gown was paired with a braided updo and a cool toned smoky eye look.

3) Felicity Jones: Her pink satin gown was a unique choice, especially with the black glitter ruffles and the border. The black glittery ruffles made the dress particularly risky.

4) Carrie Underwood: The hard fabric roses on the bodice of Carrie's dress are definitely making a statement, drawing extra attention to the shoulders, which can be very hit or miss.

5) Janelle Monae: Polka dots are always a risk, and Janelle Monae definitely took one in this poofy white high-low gown. The dress was complete with a white train, covered with a lacy overcoat and oversized polka dots. Definitely an adventurous choice!

This week's Bollywood fashion roundup has been an absolute stunner!

1) Alia Bhatt:
It's no mystery that Alia Bhatt is our constant wardrobe crush, and this week was no different. She shared a picture of herself wearing a gorgeous Martin Grant button down suede skirt with a navy blue v-neck blouse tucked into it, and we thought it was so chic!

2) Parineeti Chopra
Party season is most definitely here, and Parineeti seems to be all about that life. She posted a photo of herself in an all-black Karn Malhotra piece with silver accents last week, which we think its an absolute stunner. Not to mention, her pout is just perfect!

3) Sonam Kapoor:
Suits never go out of style, and Sonam Kapoor proved that this week in a stunning Alberta Feretti number, consisting of a lace bustier, wide leg pants, and a long blazer. Love!

4) Jacqueline Fernandez:
Jacqueline is all sass and class in her recent Instagram post, dressed in an embellished Coach overcoat. We think she exemplifies winter fashion goals to the max in this picture! Also, can you say #hairgoals?!

5) Sonakshi Sinha:
Sonakshi's easygoing style is forever on our radar, and why would it not be? She shared a gorgeous photo of her recent travels, wearing a casual tank-shorts-sneakers look. The twist in the tale was her checkered cardigan and statement necklace, which gave her look a more polished vibe. Definitely style goals.

The weekend = rounding up our favourite outfits that we saw in the celeb world during the past week, and this week was a tough one because there were so many choices to pick from! But finally, here are our top picks.

Jacqueline in denim on denim
Denim on denim always, always has our stamp of approval, so naturally we loved this outfit Jacqueline Fernandez sported. We also loved the relaxed silhouette. So perfect for the weekend!

Kangana in summer chic
What do you do when you're travelling to US where it's fall, but it's not quite fall in Bombay? Why, you wear a fall-appropriate outfit in light tones and a pop of colour, of course! We're in love with this outfit Kangana Ranaut wore to the airport.

Kriti in yellow
This might just have to go in our Cutest Outfits Hall of Fame, because we adore it! Kriti Sanon rocked this super cute yellow graphic top with "Banana Split" emblazoned across it. This is how you do yellow and black without looking like a bee (a common fear for all yellow-lovers, no doubt).

Radhika in an orange shirt dress
Sometimes, less is more. Radhika Apte effortlessly rocked this neon orange shirt dress with metallic sandals and a pink lip. We love the half-bun hairstyle she paired this look with—so in vogue right now!

Sonam in Ralph & Russo
We have no words for this gorgeous dress Sonam Kapoor wore on the red carpet of her baby brother Harshvardhan Kapoor's Mirzya premiere in Hyde Park, London. Legs for daaaays!

Sam Smith recently talked about his upcoming album to Billboard revealing that it's going to be great and that it's "really deep" stuff.
