Awards season is now in full swing and the Brits announced the 2018 Award nominations over the weekend. In case you didn’t know, this is arguably the UK’s premier pop music awards and has spawned many iconic moments including Ginger Spice’s infamous Union Jack dress and Katy Perry’s controversial US President Donald Trump and UK Prime Minster Theresa May oversized dolls. This time round, singer-song writer Dua Lipa made history with five nominations, including British Female Solo Artist, and Ed Sheeran was next most nominated with four nods. Rising star Jorja Smith, who’s collaborated with Drake and Stormzy, won the Critics Choice award ahead of Mabel and Stefflon Don. Find the full list of nominees here and singer Paloma Faith was quick to slam the lack of female performers lined up for the ceremony on 21st February.

That gives you just over a month to add the artists mentioned above to your playlist pronto and shop the nomination looks for your next night out in our edits below.

As we keep our track on our New Year New You content organising and planning for a more fruitful and productive year, we couldn't leave out the amazing Japanese organizing consultant and author Marie Kondo. Her bestselling book "The ", had helped myriads of men and women to tidy up their house, environment even their personal and professional lives. Here are a few of her secrets to success:

Lesson 1 Tackle Categories, Not Rooms

Even though we tend to take on one room at a time Kondo's advice is to tidy by category and deal with each category separately, for example, tackle all your books at once. Begin with clothing, go through more emotional items later such as books and old photographs.

Lesson 2 Respect Your Ownership

One of the best ways to avoid messiness is to truly value each item. You wouldn't leave that dress on the floor if you really respect it right?

Lesson 3 Get Over Nostalgia

Make two categories of things that are worth saving such as your sentimental memorabilia and the ones that are kept by habit or laziness. Throw the second category away and start storing the first.

Lesson 4 Purge is Good

One of her best rules is to keep only what gives you joy and it's much easier than you think. Start by putting on some music that makes you equally joyful.

Lesson 5 Go for the fold not the hang

Once the purge session is over it's time for storing. Rather than folding Kondo thinks a lot of our clothing would be "happier" folded in a dresser.

Lesson 6 The Fold

Her vertical folding technique makes everything easy to spot and hard to mess up. FOlded this way clothing looks like fabric origami ready to line your drawers in neat rows.

Ready to try the Marie Kondo's way? Shop your organising essentials below and get to work

Talk about a feast. Adidas’ recent campaign had 25 stars from music, fashion and sports industries. Names like Alexander Wang, Karlie Kloss and Pharrell Williams featured in the campaign video as well as athletes like Lionel Messi and David Beckham. Titled ‘Calling All Creators’ the campaign featured the celebs talking about what motivates them to create. It was the ‘Last Supper’ of 2017 and we loved it! It truly inspired me to create in 2018! Check out the campaign video on Youtube to be inspired for 2018. #adidas #campaign #video #karliekloss #pharrelwilliams #alexanderwang #lionelmessi #davidbeckham #fashion #newyears #creativity

Phew! Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year which means you still have the whole weekend, as in three days including today, to get, wrap and give all your gifts. So if you’ve left it to the last minute, waited until pay day, been procrastinating or simply had no idea what to get certain people- no one else needs to know. Fingers crossed everything you want is still in stock, although you may have missed delivery times for online orders unless you’re willing to pay extra for next day delivery. Some retailers thankfully do click and collect and if all else fails, print off your online order and give that instead as indisputable proof you got them something. Just remember to hide/remove the price.

To help you on your gift mission, we’ve put together some quickfire jewellery, books and music edits to shop now below. And here are the rest of our gift guides for added inspiration!

SECRET SANTA GIFTS (these are stocking fillers as well)

This time, the impressive stage that has served as the framework for the Chanel show has been the Hamburg concert hall. With the orchestra playing classical music, Karl Lagerfeld presented a feminine and elegant collection for the 2018 prefall collection. Of course, the traditional jacket and tweed skirt suits have been the main protagonists of the collection. Credits: hypebeast

As we have established in my previous posts - I LOVE Christmas. This year this has filtered right through to my bedding. There's nothing like putting on the Christmas music and decking the halls and why should our bedroom miss out on this? I got this adorable bedding from #ASDA to sprinkle a little Christmas spirit from waking up to going to sleep.

Selena Gomez stunned in this black, almost Grease-inspired look at the awards which celebrates upcoming female leaders in music. She was awarded with the 'Woman of the Year' award, and we can clearly see why. Her style is always on point! Her makeup is super natural but super sleek with the nude lipstick complimenting her skin tone and outfit. The belt makes it all the more eye-catching and is a perfect accessory to her look! #selenagomez #womeninmusic Credit: fashion_week Instagram

One of the most popular and trendiest things out there at the moment are playsuits and jumpsuits. As the weather is getting much colder you might want to opt for a jumpsuit with a warm jacket. Another option could be to wear a bodysuit with a skirt or jeans. I love everything about Christmas. The decorations, the music, this year I even have Christmas BEDDING. I cannot wait for 1st December when I'll start blasting the Mariah Carey. Whilst I'm not one to start Christmas until December I am loving all the decorations around London already. @fashionfroiegras posted an image of The Ivy in Chelsea which is looking fabulously festive. I love the autumnal orange mixed in with a plethora of greens and blues. It's not typical Christmas colours but it seriously works. The butterflies, whilst not traditional, look beautiful. I can't wait to see what other decorations are around. Where are your favourite places at Christmas? Image: Instagram @fashionfoiegras

Rita Ora certainly chose an unusual outfit for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards, but we can definitely all agree that the whole 'just got out of the bath look' is eye-catching. #MTVEMA2017 #PalomoSpain #bathrobe #towel Credit: fashion_week Instagram

I really love this collection from Venezuelan Brand Vestimenta. The pieces are inspired by the famous music Festival Coachella. The fabric of the playsuit look so fresh and comfy, and the headpiece on the model creates a very cool boho vibe to the look. This pieces are perfect for picnics or any outdoors activities. Specially for latinoamericans or Aussies that are currently enjoying the warm lights of sunny summer.
