Not literally blue eyes. Because even though we may want it so much, we just have to live with our same ol’ brown eyes…Yet, this season, celebs, bloggers and everyone who is someone is going crazy about a makeup trend. Blue eyeshadows! Either a electric blue mascara, light blue liner or turquoise eyeshadow. Anything blue is good. This style can turn any of your outfits into a statement. Just be sure to leave your lips nude! #blue #eyeshadow #makeup #eyemakeup #style #fashion #beauty

Whether you’ve got cash to splash or you’re watching your wallet this month, you should never compromise on a decent colour. Whether you opt for a classic red lip or prefer an easy neutral shade, picking a liner and lipstick that don’t dehydrate your lips and won’t budge during the day, is a must.

There’s nothing worse than trying out a new lipstick only to see it all over your glass by the end of an evening out. So, we turned to a group of beauty insiders to discover their favourite lipsticks – from designer beauty brands and affordable stores.

We usually heard that colorful liners look best against brown eyes, but I'm loving the contrast between the icy blue eyes of the girl and the cobalt blue liner it looks so unique and beautiful. I also like how she pairs the liner with dusty and pastel pink eyeshadows, it makes the liner the main focus of the look and at the same time creates a romantic vibe to it.  Photo Credit: @kelseeyclarke on twitter #beauty #makeup #look #trend

I'm really loving this makeup look by @iluvsarahii A lot of people does bronzy smokey eyes, but I rarely have seen a look with also a fierce cat eye and a reverse liner in the water line.  I find also very appealing that instead of a regular nude, she went for a brown glossy lip. This shade can look so stunning on girls with tan skin!  Photo Credits: @brencharvy on Twitter #makeup #beauty  #look  #instamakeup

The Moschino look was fuelled by pastels. Pink lips and glittering eyes were painted onto the Moschino models thanks to Kabuki. Whilst it was mainly cat-eye flicks and Jackie O wigs some of the models were painted in bright hues to offset the colours of the clothes. This is a look that can totally be recreated with a slick of liquid liner and some light blush. Image: Jamie Stoker

This eye look from Illamasqua is so dreamy! The mixture of light and dark green shades is just perfect, not to mention the cut crease 😍 Dramatic brows and winged liner finish it off perfectly! #motd #illamasqua #makeupinspo #cosmetics Photo Credit: @Illamasqua on Twitter

As seen on the runway thick black eyeliner is in. Instead of the wispy, classic cat eye this year we will be grabbing the liquid liner and layering it up. This is a totally dramatic look which works well with pastel coloured outfits. There is no wrong way to work this trend. Just wing it. Image: Instagram

Second post about Alison Brie, but I just loved so much her overall look. Especially the makeup. Brows are polished and her skin looks so smooth and alive, with those flushed cheeks. The eye makeup was so minimal and classic, I'm loving the soft peach shade on her crease and eye-catching champagne shade on her lid. I'm pretty sure a little black liner was used to enhance the thickness of her eyelash extension. But the star of the show is the corally pink lipstick, that gives a splash of freshness to the classic and elegant look. Us too although we’ve been liking and saving plenty of new ones that have been popping up on our instagram feed courtesy of our favourite beauty influencers. Rihanna, make-up artist Katie Jane Hughes and model Paloma Elsesser have particularly inspired us to experiment a little more with our lips, eyes and skin.

Smokey eyes are a must for party season, but i think the best way of doing them and remain a little bit natural is putting the dark eyeshadow colours in the outer conner of the eye, like we seen in this image. Keeping the drama out, you can create a nice almond/feline shape to your eye. And if you think that your eyes need more intensity, you can always apply a little black liner on your water line.
