Who doesn't want to know more about obtaining a youthful, glowing complexion? After the world’s obsession with the 10-step Korean routine, the latest beauty trend to emerge from K-beauty is Glass Skin.

What is Glass Skin?

The word "glass" conjures thoughts of a sheer, crystal-like complexion. But how can you really get your skin to look like that? A clear, poreless complexion is one of the main goals for beauty buffs and according to the experts, glass skin is a new look created by layering products very specifically onto the face.

How to get Glass Skin?

According to the K-beauty aficionados, your path to perfect skin is an amalgamation of layering lightweight products and following with myriad formulas. However, the first and most important step is double cleansing. No, we don't mean lathering and rinsing twice but rather using one product to remove all makeup and debris while employing another one to cleanse and get rid of dirt and bacteria.

After completing the first step, it's on to a seven skin method routine which includes multiple layers of hydrating toner, followed by a pore-refining essence and an ultra-rich moisturizer. For mega impressive results add another step of exfoliation that removes dead skin to reveal a radiant and fresh complexion. Finally, complete the glass skin routine by applying a super-rich moisturizer and there you have it, clear skin to rival the most dedicated Korean beauty bloggers.

Ready to get started? Head to our gallery for more K-beauty inspiration and shop the entire seven step routine from our edit below…

A denim jacket is a perfect accessory for your transition into Spring and Summer wardrobe. It goes with everything, it has a timeless appeal and most of all you don't have to break the bank to acquire it. You've probably witnessed yourself many style setters opting for the classic staple in an array of fresh ways to sport it - quadruple denim included.

Style stars like Emily Ratajkowski and Selena Gomez are also showing us how to don the lightweight jacket with extra sass. Mix and mash of the high end with the high street is essential here: throw on a pair of Stella McCartney leggings with a denim Topshop jacket following on Kendal Jenner's style point of view. Thankfully, there are many new ideas on how to wear the denim jacket.

Whether you're headed to a brunch, for date night, or party night you're bound to find a fresh innovative way to sport it this season.

For date night, dress up your jacket employing statement-making accessories such as sequinned earrings, pointy shoes, and sparkly bracelets.

Go for a fun night out with your friends in a new flirty dress that you'll wear from dusk till dawn. Throw on a  sherpa-lined denim jacket. The extra layer of fabric makes it extra warm freeing you from wardrobe choices.

For a weekend brunch go for a white denim jacket paired with a fun shirt and a light wash pair of white denim trousers. Bring some pop of colour with an emerald green pair of mules and matching tote bag.

Ready to rock your denim jacket this season? Shop your favourite styles from our expert edit below!

The next months finally graces your agenda, and it is about time to make new enjoyable memories, without breaking the bank. So now you've booked the flights, and can't wait to enjoy your newly reserved Airbnb or hotel room. But, before all of that, you need to go through the tedious task of packing.

The ground rules:

Choose the right partner
When it comes to picking your suitcase or bag, think resistant, lightweight and durable suitcases. This item should be an investment and will follow, we hope, for many, many holidays.

Be weather ready
Check the weather forecast just before leaving. The sunny getaway might transform into a singin’ in the rain weekend, and you want to be ready for it. Always have the unforgettable duo: sunglasses and umbrella in your bag.

Think outfits
Travelling for 3 days is not the same as for a week. Pick pieces from your day wardrobe that can be dressed up or down with accessories and shoes. The floral beach dress with high heels and gold hoops will be perfect for a dinner in town. The black turtleneck paired with a nice pair of trousers and a statement necklace will be the star of the mountain chalet. Worst case scenario, if you really forget something, it is unlikely you can not buy it at your destination.

Toiletry essentials
Do not pack full-sized products. Your favorite products are surely available in a travel-size version. If they are not, buy an empty bottle kit that will comply with airline regulations and fill them up with your beloved beauty products.

It's all about memories
Make durable memories: whether you like drawing, writing or snapping pictures, you can keep your memories in a brand new way. Write a travel journal, sketch the church you like so much, take a polaroid of your love. More than an instant moment, you get the chance to share your holidays with your friends in a very personal way.

Powder lips are taking over the Korean beauty industry. They may sound a little uncomfortable to wear like liquid lipsticks, but by applying lip balm before you put the powder into your lips you can make the consistency more lightweight and not mention that lip trend has a serious star power. If you’ve found yourself sweating in your winter coat recently or soaked through after a sudden downpour, it may be time to get a raincoat. Not an umbrella that’s easily lost on the tube and stands no chance in gale force winds; plus they’re also kind of annoying to hold when wet and sans bag to stash it in. Indeed, these lightweight saviours may be better associated with festival style but they really come into their own at this time of year when it’s still cold but slightly too warm for heavy outerwear. As lovely and cuddly as faux fur is, it definitely isn’t waterproof and can shed coloured hair all over your all-black look.

These raincoats are thin, waterproof outer layers that sit on top of all of the others- statement knits, hoodies, thermals, even a leather jacket- to keep you dry rather than warm. And better yet, some of them can even fold into small bags that fit into your handbag. We see no reason not to wear a raincoat everywhere as we transition into Spring and how we’re doing it this season is outlined below.

There’s few things worse wardrobe-wise than splashing out on a snazzy winter coat, loving the shape and fit, then realising it offers very little protection against the cold. When you wear it, the biting wind rips straight through you as if the coat wasn’t there; sometimes even faux fur isn’t as warming as it looks. And while layers are the obvious solution, you’d rather freeze than spoil the lines with a bulky knit. Us too which is why the gilet is your saving grace.

Essentially an insulating waistcoat, the gilet is sleeveless and ready to be worn under and over said coat. Quilted, puffa, shearling and more- you can choose how lightweight and streamlined you’d like yours to be in relation. If you don’t want anyone to know it’s there, keep it clean and smooth underneath so everyone’s still admiring your outerwear. But if you’d like to push your coat into warm, trophy territory, a fluffy gilet on top is a detachable, statement-making addition.

Shop our recommended coat + gilet combos in our edit below.

Summer is the time of bare skin exposed to the warm rays of sunshine that can be amazing for our mood (as we produce more serotonin - a mood-boosting hormone) but also very harsh for our skin and hair. Summer skincare is an entirely different chapter in beauty than our normal everyday beauty routine during winter. Excessive sun exposure can cause anything from pigmentation to skin dehydration, sunburn and premature ageing, but not with a proper summer skincare routine.

Here's what you'll need:

TONER
You wouldn't necessarily associate dry skin with summer but that's a myth. Sweating, in particular, can cause our skin pores to open up and that's when the toner is really helpful. Use your favourite toner after you've cleaned your skin thoroughly to help close the pores. Don't forget to moisturise and follow these simple basic steps every day to avoid premature ageing and wrinkles.

NO SCRUB(S)
Although it's important to cleanse the skin during the summer months it's not advisable to scrub it, especially after long-term sun exposure. Scraping off the dead layer of skin may leave you with a brighter complexion but it can also make your skin more sensitive to the sun. If you still want to exfoliate, try limiting it to two times a week and make sure you moisturise after. Because of extra sweat-clogged pores can end up in pimples so keep up with your exfoliating and splash your face with water 3-4 times per day.

DAY CREAM with SPF
An oil-free and fragrance-free cream day cream with SPF 30 would be ideal for summer. Thick creams are only good for dry areas of the body like the feet, knees and elbows. For summer you need a lighter lotion and serum. You should apply a minimum SPF of 30 at least 20-30 minutes before sun exposure. If you have oily prone skin (you still have to wear an SPF!) try a gel-based sunscreen. If you have a mixed or dry skin try a sunscreen with a matte finish.

CC CREAM
If you want just a bit of coverage you can sport a CC Cream in addition to your SPF. Most of the CC's include a SPF and are also colour-correcting, act as a lightweight makeup, and hydrate the skin. But their SPF is sometimes as little as 15 so ALWAYS wear it on top of your normal face sunscreen.

ULTRA HYDRATING MASK
Chlorine from the swimming pool and sea water in combination with sun exposure can severely dehydrate and damage the skin. This season think about investing in a hydrating mask and we swear it will feel just like splashing your face into the water after taking that first summer dip.

LIGHTWEIGHT NIGHT CREAM
Night cream is a tad excessive during the summer months, just like that sweater you packed and never worn on your holidays- you just don't need it. You don't necessarily need it in humid conditions. But due to sun exposure and dry environments (especially with air-conditioning) you should aim for a lightweight night cream or serum depending on your skin type.

EYES & LIPS
The sun rays are most harmful between 12 and 4 pm. It's important to wear a pair of UV-protected sunnies and an eye cream for extra sun protection. Chapped lips are common during the summer months as well so make sure you carry an extra lip balm with sun protection and coconut oil for extra moisturising in your bag. If the sun really hurts your eyes sit down in the shade and apply potato juice or peeled potatoes underneath your eyes for a super soothing effect.
