We're all familiar with that pre-Christmas gifting feeling. We start making lists by artfully extracting information on what our loved ones would like for Christmas. With the same intention we give out information about ourselves. It's all part of the beautiful game of gifting, sharing and ultimately spending time with our favourite people.

For our mothers, sisters and best friends, COACH has a lovely selection of beautifully crafted bags, clutches, cross body bags and other intricately designed accessories that are both bold fun yet classic and chic. Go for a personal charm, a key chain, a gold bangle or a dazzling necklace.

For the men in our lives there's a wide selection of luxe leather items. Go for a practical and sleek leather jacket in a plain monochrome hue or in a bold pattern. Opt for a leather bag or business briefcase and add a personalised tag for the ultimate gifting experience. If you're looking more for a budget solution, choose winter accessories such as leather gloves and a scarf or seasonless winners like a personalised leather wallet or card holder.

Did we mention that many gift items are on sale? Shop your favourite styles below. Hurry sale ends soon.

The search for the ultimate winter boots is over thanks to Dear Frances. Designer Jane Frances launched her luxury footwear brand in London in 2014 with a timeless-with-a-twist ethos and exquisite craftsmanship at its heart and it’s generating quite the buzz. Chances are you’ve seen the now cult Spirit boots, a classic, heeled ankle style, on the likes of Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Amal Clooney in various colours, highlighting their cross-generational appeal and unparalleled versatility. And there are the Float boots, Dear Frances’ take on the Chelsea boot, which have lucite accenting the wooden heel- a genius identifiable detail that is fast becoming a signature. Every elegant style has been designed with comfort in mind, to be easily worn all day, every day for years to come.

Dear Frances also deserves credit for its ethical production processes and partnerships with non-profit organisations. The boots are expertly crafted by artisans in Italy, at the same family-owned factory where London College of Fashion graduate Frances previously interned, and with only the finest sustainable materials- from supple leather and suede to decadent velvet are used. The theory is that by creating the highest quality boots possible at an accessible price point, waste and over-production will be minimised as they’ll endure. Clearly these are boots worth stockpiling and investing in, even more so when you realise that the brand sends a pair of shoes to a person in need for every pair sold. It’s part of Dear Frances’ mission to help people worldwide while creating shoes that make you look and feel amazing.

Who said that you had to leave the denim items in your wardrobe only for casual occasions? Just like the early naughties, the party jeans are gaining back their reputation as capable LBD alternatives. Emily Ratajkowski certainly thinks so. She sported a pair of straight legged denim jeans with ripped hems with an ethereal silky embroidered kimono by The Kooples to add a bit of glam to the outfit.

She wanted to add a bit more definition and sparkle to her evening look so she placed a pearl and crystal belt around her waist. She put her hair in a half - up Bardot-esque do for the ultimate effortless sexy result. She finished off the look with a pair of black heeled sandals and a leopard print bag.

For a more comprehensive evening look go for a sequinned black top, and pair it with a belt over the knee black boots and a bright coloured tote bag.

Let the top speak for itself and go for a statement off the shoulder ruffled top and pair it with mules and a cute leather clutch.

Channel your inner Victorian vibe and go for the appropriate volume sleeved shirt, soft leather mules and an embroidered drawstring bag. Ready to sport your denim this weekend?

We know it's early but hopefully, you want to plan ahead and buy a gift for your special guy sooner rather than later. Firstly you have to establish just how much he would be into Valentine's day. Then go for a present that he would actually enjoy and stay away from overtly cheesy stuff that says mass-produced love and take a more curated approach instead.

Don't go for the cheesy VDay card.

Instead try buying one according to his taste, Is he into pugs, guitars, something else? Anything else would be better than your typical heart- infused card.

Do get a Gift Set

If you're a bit unsure of the best present especially for him a shower set, or shaving gear would be the next best option.

Don't go over budget

Unless you want to. Buying a ridiculously expensive present means you except the same from him. If that's something he wouldn't be able to afford it may leave him feeling uncomfortable.

Do small leather goods

Get a personalised wallet, card holder or smartphone case. It's practical, doesn't scream Valentine's day and he's bound to use it every single day. Kudos for you both!

When you first get a foldable bag you’ll wonder how you ever functioned without it. They’ve become all the more essential now that it costs 5p per plastic bag in the shops so you’ll save that money and the environment in a single swoop. Brand and designers have cottoned on this unique fashion-meets-function opportunity to dole out bags to suit minimalists, maximalists and every sartorial personality in between. And you’d be surprised by how small some shrink, how big others expand and how it doesn’t really matter whether you fold, scrunch or roll them. Drop one in your bag and volia! You’re instantly more organised and have more space to shop or carry everything you need for the day.

Longchamp are probably the best known brand to make them thanks to Alexa Chung carrying their Le Pliage tote and collaborating with the French luxury leather goods brand on her own designs. You can follow her lead by creating a monochrome look with the bag as the statement piece or you can clash to your heart’s content. To be honest, there’s no right or wrong way to style a foldable bag - just pick your favourite shape/shade/pattern and use it at much as possible. And as they are so reasonably priced, why buy only one?

I'm loving this outfit. the denim jacket with the black legging is such a comfy and casual look for every day, but it's the leather boots and the pink hat that gives a cowboy girl vibe to the outfit that it's just so cool. And I also really like how the pink hat blends so beautifully with the colours of the ambients. You guys like hats? Photo Credit: @paigedenim on Twitter #fashion #denim #cowboygirl #paigedenim #hats

Last Thursday the Hadid clan were caught in New York celebrating Yolanda's, mother of models and all round it-girls Bella and Gigi, birthday. Harking back to the societies, Yo's birth decade, Bella's outfit was on point. The leather burgundy complete with turtle neck and contrasting zip looks gorgeous on Bella. Of course, these bright white boots are the perfect go-go-esque complement. Image: Vogue

The secret’s out: the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brand Reiss is having an online sale. Get up to 50% off their bestsellers, including the second-to-none coats that the royal and Kylie Jenner have both stepped out in. Taking full advantage of this incredible discount is a surefire way to elevate your winter wardrobe with authenticity and originality for less. Reiss’ modern classics- which include cool leather trousers, statement shirts and coveted accessories - always have directional twists that set them apart without compromising their impeccable quality and meticulous attention to detail.

The British brand was founded by David Reiss and has been delivering design-led menswear and womenswear since 1971. While there is a nod to current trends, like the strokeable shearling gilet or velvet loafers, the in-house design team aim to create standout styles with cross-generational appeal that ultimately transcend them. The role-call of stylish women and men who wear Reiss have wildly different tastes and shapes which is a testament to the brand’s versatility, from polished cool-girl Olivia Palermo and bombshell Emily Ratajkowski to suave actor Tom Hiddleston and the now default band The Jonas Brothers.

What Reiss does best is filling previously unseen wardrobe gaps and delivering fresh propositions on your go-to styles. For the parties still to come this holiday season, the lace top jumpsuit will make you a strong contender for best dressed guest, just like the unexpected texture of the moleskin tailored trousers. A pair of black leather heeled boots is a must-buy for any season along with a day-to-night black button-up shirt.

The quickest way to bring your ankle boots bang up to date is to add shine. That means a patent surface rather than a matte one in real or vegan leather that you can wipe-clean and maybe even see you face in. Bring on the rainy days and you’ll be able to go from desk to disco without having to swap shoes.

We don’t recall there ever being as many patent boots on offer as there are right now. And they’re not just glossy black either. The white shoe trend still has major legs and shades of red from traffic-light bright to deep burgundy are proving popular. And how about a nude or baby pink pair to shake up the pastel looks you’ll be rocking later this Spring in line with the SS18 trends? Rich tones like Cadbury purple and caramel brown only look more delicious with a sheen and molten metallics look out of this world with denim.
