As much as we hate to admit the early 00's era of Paris Hilton in pink Juicy track suits, double denim x2 Justin and Britney, Christina Aguilera's dirty braided locks, oversized hoops and motorcross gear loving songstress Pink are all trending for 2017. Even though some of those trends especially worn in the early 00's period make us cringe slightly, incorporating a few items here with a 2017  approach will work wonders for your wardrobe this season!

Read on for the latest throwback staples of the season!

1. Velour Track Suit Ensemble

Before the rise of athleisure the velour tracksuit was a no-fail staple. Combined with an oversized bag, a Starbucks venti Latte and a miniature dog it was the celebrity uniform adorned by most starlets of the time. Many years after it's inevitable demise the velour tracksuit is having a come back. Vetement's collaboration with Juicy Couture for SS17 should have given us a hint. Kanye's YEEZY and Chloe are also adding this naughts staple into their collections. You can probably thank or cringe at Rihanna and Kylie Jenner for putting it back on the Insta Fash pack radar.

2. Trucker Cap

In the heyday of paparazzi and celebrity culture which was the early naughts they had to be accompanied by some much needed streetwear and paparazzi-proof attire. Black sunnies have always been favourable but headgear is also quite integral. For the early 00's that attire included the trucker cap. The ubiquitous accessory for every 20-something celebrity from Pharrell to Ashton Kutcher or Britney Spears. It was Hedi Slimane who resurfaced the the polarizing accessory for Saint Lauren's SS16 show. Nowadays, Gigi Hadid and Kylie and Kendall Jenner have all been spotted with the infamous cap.#2e2e2e">

3. Hot Pink

As fashion recycles every 20 years the early naughts adopted the early 80's trend of pastel pink. When it came to the early naughts Paris Hilton not only brought the flirty colour back but basically built her brand by sporting bold non apologetic fuchia-pink. Around the same time that Legally Blonde premiered by the way. And even though we have been drowning in pastel pink for the past few seasons you can attribute the rise of bold pink to Ballenciaga's SS17 collection. Just wondering when Paris Hilton's come back is due?

4. Motorcross Gear

The rise of early aughties hip-hop is undeniable and it quickly infused the fashion runways too. From Pharell Williams, to Pink, EVE, or Christina Aguilera's Dirrty video and most rappers of the time donning heavy leather tracksuits and jackets usually styled with braided hair and lots of 'bling' or 'bling-bling' if you're truly old - school. Nowadays, labels like Maison Margiela, Alyx Studio, Supreme and of course Rihanna's Fenty x Puma SS18 collection at NYFW are completely in racing-inspired gear mode.

5. Candy Coloured Sunglasses

Colorful sunglasses were everywhere in early 00's and adored by women and men equally. From Sisqo to Justin Timberlake Eve and the Olsen Twins (they've gone a long way we know), all 00's stars were sporting this trend. Nowadays you'll find the likes of Gigi Hadid and her entourage in similar rose coloured glasses.

6. Oversized Hoops

The oversized hoops are a symbol of RnB and Hip Hop music. From Lauren Hill, to Missy Elliot, and EVE it's the accessory that goes hand in hand with a bandana, baseball cap or sleek back pony tail. In the aughts the trend went more mainstream and was adored by many including Victoria Beckham. These days, you can see anyone from Kendall Jenner, to the Hadid sisters or Rihanna rocking those giant gold hoops from designers like Area or minimal ones from Lombardi and Nandi Naya.

7. Fishnets

We're not saying you should go full-on Avril Lavigne and "Hollaback Girl"-era Gwen Stefani, necessarily, but there's definitely something about this pop version of post punk fashion that us bubbling back up all over social media. Usually worn underneath low rise wide legged ripped jeans and peaking from the waist and calves. And of course, the fishnet top is a great way to add some interest under a slip dress—or just over a bandeau bra, for a fun flirty look.

8. Pointy slingback pumps

You can pinpoint this trend to the late 90's who resurfaced the super pointy kitten heel. It was in the early 00's though that the silhouette became more relaxed and transformed into a more elegant and feminine slingback pump with a mid-height lift. Doesn't Sophia Coppola's outfit look truly timeless?

There you have it! The eight 00's trends that are coming back in a major way. Which ones will you be sporting this season? Check out our exclusive edit of all the items that will give you that extra aughts edge!

Berets are seriously trending at the moment but the truth is that they have been around for a long time. They are one of those undeniable timeless pieces and have long been associated with style icons like Brigitte Bardot and Twiggy.

Nowadays style influencers like Pandora Sykes, Yoyo Cao and Miroslava Dumas as well as big time celebrities like Rihanna and Adwoa Aboah are bringing back and thus cementing the popularity of the beret. The beret has also been linked to the French elegance and sense of style but this time the Parisian je ne sais quoi got a makeover.

A surge of berets has popped up recently from designers and high street retailers alike. Take Maria Grazia Chiuri, for example, the Creative Director at Dior who commissioned milliner Stephen Jones to design leather berets for the A/W 2017 catwalk.

Berets have also become sort of a staple piece at Gucci. Alessandro Michele has expanded on the classic black beret by introducing a variety of bright colours, and most unlikely textures.

Whatever your style and mood this season amp up your look with a cool sleek beret.

Fashion week has arrived which means massive new trends on the catwalk for Spring/Summer 18  but also an array of sartorial aficionados giving us their take on the current style! We noticed already a lot of vinyl (red skirts, trench coats, boots and berets), 90's references, chic sling backs, romantic dresses juxtaposed with leather details, booties or knee length boots and many and we mean a lot of logo t-shirts. The colour palette was leaning towards pinks, bright red, mustard yellow, and black.

Apart from the usual celeb/ model off duty sightings including Kaia Gerber, Hayley Baldwin the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner, our attention was focused on emerging and established influencers with an enviable sense of style. Take Marta Lozano Pascual for example who did the perfect mix and match by pairing her Mango red vinyl skirt, red thigh high boots and tee ensemble with a classic Chanel Bag. We also saw an appetite for vinyl on model Caroline Daur who paired a black vinyl skirt with a red jumper and uber cool white booties (all Rebecca Minkoff). Finally Anabelle Fleur from Viva Luxury blog in an ethereal Victorian white floor-length dress in contradiction with leather accessories such as a thick black leather belt, leather beret, white leather bag and white kitten heels.

Notable street stylers include Kaia Gerber in a black jacket embellished with Pepsi badges and paraphernalia. This was clearly as a nod to carrying the torch from the Pepsi ad queen and her mother Cindy Crawford. Model Hayley Baldwin went for 90s casual in a Canadian sweater, denim shorts, black leather booties, big gold hoops, and a small red leather Supreme bag. Bella Hadid, channelled once again a late 90s outfit complete with a dragon patterned black bralette, black cargo pants, and sliders while showing off her new uber cool short bob.

Yes, even though we try to avoid it we're officially in September. Less sunlight, chilly mornings and chillier afternoons scream for a slight change in wardrobe and potentially a few more cosy nights in. These changes include footwear, and if flip flops were the go-to shoe of choice for summer, this season it's all about the ankle boot and its many variations: Flat, heeled, leather and suede, print or plain.

FLAT

The flat ankle boot is probably the easiest way to be comfy chic. If you don't believe me just ask a few flat ankle aficionados like Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller. Follow in their footsteps and team them with midi skirts, long floral trousers or leggings.

HEELED

The autumn/winter essentials are definitely a pair of impressive, leather heeled ankle boots. They are offered in a great variety of punky buckle boots, suede Western styles, vintage lace up booties, riding styles in metallics bright bold colours like red and purple but also look out for plain black, grey, brown or white.

Transitional weather periods require transitional wardrobe. And one of the transitional weather absolute favourite staples is the trench coat. From royal, Kate Middleton to reality star Kim Kardashian West and blogger/ journalist Pandora Sykes (you are seeing the expansion of the fashion spectrum here, right?) are opting for multiple variations of the trench coat. Whether you choose the Bottega Veneta one that Lauren Bacall wore in the SS17 show or the uber trendy winter floral print at Michael Kors, this piece is bound to add more than a few points of elegance to your look.

There's great variety in form but most importantly in the fabric. High gloss details or full on shiny leather trenches. Tightly cinched or left in a looser silhouette. One of the most spot on colours for trench coats this season is khaki, but get ready for some impressive numbers in red, off-white, camel and baby blue.

There are not many things that can make us feel excited about Fall but this might be it: More than a few of the most stylish street style stars have been sporting ruffles with vinyl and chunky shoes and lifting vinyl to super trend status. Jessie Bush made a case for a sporty, oversized coat in the material during London Fashion Week while Alexa Chung styled hers with a slogan jumper and Barbour for an ideal Glastonbury look.

Look to Gizelle who found a fresh way to add a punk edge to her ensemble by adding a biker jacket or keeping her vinyl trousers low-key, by teaming them with a casual grey jumper. Style maven Rihanna worked a high-waisted vinyl red skirt with a grey t-shirt and a long denim jacket. Finally, Bella Hadid chose the head-to-toe black vinyl - Matrix type of outfit.

Whatever your inspiration this Fall be sure to rock at least one piece of vinyl and incorporate it into your personal style! Have a look at our favourite vinyl items for Autumn 2017!

What can we do when August hits and all you see when you look out the office window is rain? Well, yes, you prep for the imminent drop of A/W17 collections.

Let’s be honest here, we have been over summer for a while now and for most we’ve already lost our tan. For the ones who are yet to go enjoy the sun, well don’t complain if when you come back there is nothing left in store. Who leaves in August anyways?

As usual it all started with Instagram when we spotted the fashion pack wearing new season pieces and suddenly we knew we would want them all. Being a woman and therefore being a natural supporter of the feminist cause it seemed normal the power-woman tailored trend spoke to us. Worn by the likes of Mira Duma and Gilda Ambrosio it is a must-have this winter and it will make us happy to go to work, or the coffee shop for that matter, just to rock that executive look.

And because our job here is to find the best of the best for you ,well we found it. Ted Baker’s new A/W17 collection truly has it all! If you want to make the trend work for you there is no better place to start.

With a wide array of tailored pieces made of luxurious fabrics, we are in love. Upgrade your everyday look with otherworldly prints with names such as Kyoto Gardens, sporting butterflies which we learn are the symbol of love and transformation, a perfect omen for a successful back to school season.

If you fancy something a bit more understated, prefer one of their impeccable jumpsuit or tailored dress coming with lace detailing or subtle ruffles, you will be sure to make the right impression no matter the occasion.

Accessories have not been forgotten with feminine heels, silky scarves and structured purses. Throw a delicate kimono jacket - super hot this season - a soft leather vest or a wool and cashmere blend neutral coat for the most perfect professional finish.

See, we told you summer was overrated!

Discover our favourite pieces in the selection below or shop Ted’s entire A/W17 collection here.

Worn by Rihanna and Adwoa Aboah, the berets has entered a new era. Seeing a surge of beret from designers and high street retailers alike, this hat is making a comeback!

The beret has long been associated French stereotype, man wearing a breton t-shirt, a beret and carrying a baguette and a string of onions or Che Gavara, the Cuban revolutionary. But the cliche is out and the beret is in thanks to Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative Director at Dior, who commissioned milliner Stephen Jones to design the leather berets for the Fall 2017 catwalk.

The transformation from French cliche to chic has changed our perception of the hat. Now available in leather, wool, plaid, red, adorned with bows, pearls and embroidery there are so many styles available. We’ve got our selection below of the best berets!

There's a common misconception about Hawaiian shirts, as they're wildly associated with dad cool sporting them unbuttoned with swim shorts and a beer bottle at hand. In the late 90s, Hawaiian shirts got a makeover after Leo Di Caprio made them cool again as the tortured lover in Romeo & Juliet. This season they're getting a brand new comeback and here are the best ways to don them this summer.

For a sleek laid back look at the beach pair your favourite Hawaiian shirt with similar colour palette swim shorts, aviator sunglasses, pool slides and a cool leather backpack with all of your under-the-sun essentials.

A Hawaiian shirt is probably one of the best ways to do summer after work cool. Pair your shirt with a pair of chinos, or deconstructed jeans, sliders and your sunnies.

For an urban casual look, pair your shirt with bermuda jean shorts Vans trainers and a hoodie. Your weekend cool outfit is sorted!

For a summer night out on the island try your favourite pattern Hawaiian shirt with a pair of slim fit chinos, white high top sneakers and a cool leather jacket.

Summer is probably one of the best seasons to show off broderie detailing. By broderie we mean those refined almost lacey tops and summer dresses in angelic white, and dreamy eggshell tones that perfectly compliment sun-kissed skin.

This year broderie anglaise took Instagram by storm when the white cotton sleeveless top with lace trim by Reformation was seen on every celebrity Instagrammer under the sun from Jeanne Damas, to Pandora Sykes while Danielle Bernstein and Marianna Hewitt donned the cute mini dress version.

Whether you're planning to attend a wedding, a festival, a racing event or even a casual BBQ with friends, you simply can't go wrong with the elegant nonchalance of a broidered top that blends wonderfully into any summer occasion.

Taking cues from blogger extraordinaire Pandora Sykes on how to nail the summer day look, don a broderie crop top with a pair of gold shorts and white espadrilles. Finish the look with your favourite golden bangles, earrings, black Ray Bans and a bold red lip.

For the ultimate beach to bar look, pair your broderie mini dress with a romantic and oh-so-chic basket bag, a pair of espadrille sandals, oversized sunnies and a floppy straw hat. Add a pair of big gold hoops, and a pendant to amp up your laissez-faire summer outfit.

If you're planning to attend a festival this summer then opt for a broderie jacket with a funky crop top (even your bikini top will do) and a pair of your favourite wide-legged jeans. Top the look off with a leather cross body bag and a vast array of your most colourful accessories.

For a romantic date night try combining the innocent broderie top with a sexy red mini skirt. Finish your flirty look with high stiletto heels and your favourite miniature crossbody chain bag.

How will you style your broderie outfit this summer?
