The grunge look is all about dark colours and edgy pieces that don't need much else to make a statement. Leather encapsulates this perfectly, and can give you just that necessary hit of grunge glam to your look. If you're looking to bring your inner leather-clad badass out to play, keep these styling tips in mind:

1) Less is more:
The way to make your leather outfit seem effortless is to actually be effortless with it. Find yourself a black leather midi skirt, tuck a cute oversized cami into it, and put on some black pumps. Not only do you have an edgy af look on your hands, it can also pass as something perfect for a more upscale night out!

2) Disperse the leather:
We won't bore you with the basic leather bags and shoes, but we will encourage you to add little leathery goodness in your other accessories. A statement leather choker, or some fraying pieces tied around your wrists as bracelets can be a great way to add the grunge vibe without going too far out.

3) Colour is your friend:
If you want to kick up the drama even further, then get your leather clothing in a colour other than black. Pair it with something neutral and extra feminine for an interesting dash of contrast to your look. Yellow strappy leather top with a nude skirt and pumps? Yes please!

The annual People's Choice Awards had some absolutely beautiful looks on the red carpet, but there were also celebs who took their outfits a little too far. Here's who you need to know about:

Best Dressed -

1) Ruby Rose: Ruby gave her Veronica Beard suit an edgy twist, and paired it with a dark red lip for a little touch of drama. She looked classy as hell, and her look definitely stood out on the red carpet for us!

2) Jennifer Lopez: Our love for JLo's style in undying, and she did not disappoint! She wore a black Reem Acra gown, which had the most stunning bejewelled bodice. Possibly the best look of the night!

3) Blake Lively: Blake looked beautiful in a black Elie Saab tasselled dress, and her glimmering black and silver accessories completed her look perfectly. And how about them shoes?!

4) Priyanka Chopra: Simple is always the key to success, and PC embraced that motto on this ed carpet. She let her Sally LaPointe dress be the star of her look, as she opted for a neutral glam makeup look and bronzy skin to match. Radiant is too kind a word to describe how she looked!

5) Jamie Chung: Her pale yellow Martha Madeiros gown looked easy and effortless on her, and her golden tan brought out the dress even further.

Bizarre:

1) Gwen Stefani: Her ruffled blue number came across a little dated, especially when paired with black fishnet stockings. The exaggerated straps brought unnecessary attention to her shoulders, making her otherwise petite frame appear broader. But then again, blue isn't the easier colour to pull off, especially when paired with a grunge accessory like the fishnets!

2) Yara Shahidi: Yara's printed gown had ruffles in many wrong places, which didn't enhance her body shape much at all. But whatever said and done, she was all smiles walking down the runway, which was the perfect accessory!

3) Kristen Bell: The wide leg pants of her metallic jumpsuit engulfed her frame completely, and the white frilly cups came off more awkward than amazing. However, the colour of the piece was perfectly on trend, so points are given where due!

4) Ashley Greene: Keeping with the metallic outfits, Ashley Greene's metallic purple dress had a silver and green duochrome that didn't quite catch the light as one would have hoped. Instead, it made her outfit appear a little too simple, and even a little dated. Despite this, the dress hugged her fit frame perfectly, which we appreciated for sure!

5) Jodie Sweetin: Combining aesthetics is definitely on trend this season, but it seems like Jodie Sweetin went too extreme with her sartorial choices. Her gown and her leather jacket were stunning as separate pieces, but looked out of place when paired together.

New year = new fashion! And now with Spring/Summer 2017 a little days away, it's time to start preparing. Fashion bibles like Marie Claire and Elle have already shared their lists of trends to watch out for, and we've done the research! If you keep your fashion game on point in 2017, then read ahead to find out what you need.

1) Hourglass Figures
After season after season favouring the slimline petite frame, it's time for the curvaceous to come back! Waistbelts and fitted clothing is back, so start accentuating those curves, girl!

2) Pink
If there's one colour you need in your closet in the spring, it's pink. Gorgeous feminine silhouettes, summer vibes, and pretty flowy pieces will complete your wardrobe.

3) Tough Florals
The traditionally chilled out floral patterns are now being made ballsy and tough by incorporating black and leather accents into it. This mixed aesthetic can give you an extremely eye catching look. Try it!

4) Sleeves
Sleeves lately have taken on a life of their own these last few seasons. Though previously associated with safety and conservative vibes, you can now play up the sleeves of any top and make a plain top pop!

5) Reverse layering
Layering No, we don't mean layering on the sweaters and tank tops to keep warm. We mean putting on a lacy bustier on top of a classic formal collared shirt to create something new and different. Definitely keep an eye out for this one; we think it's gonna be huge!

With every passing year, women move a giant step forward. Even if applied to Bollywood, the ladies are kicking some serious ass! And since this realisation came to us on WCW, we thought it would be only appropriate to highlight our top 5 moments where girls made an impact in 2016. Read on!

1) Alia Bhatt in Udta Punjab
If you watched this film, then you know what we're talking about. And if not, it's time to find out! Alia Bhatt's award winning performance in controversial film Udta Punjab had all eyes on her, and justifiably so! This girl has some serious acting chops, and we can't wait to see where she goes in 2017!

2) Deepika Padukone's Hollywood Takeover
When Vin Diesel met Deepika Padukone, sparks were meant to fly on-screen. And that's exactly what happened on the sets of XXX! Deeps plays a leather clad, ass-kicking girl boss in the film, which marks the official start of her Hollywood takeover. Definitely a stellar moment of 2016.

3) Priyanka Chopra... All Year!
Where do we even start with this one? From busting Indian stereotypes on international platforms, to being appointed an ambassador at UNICEF, this girl is initiating change everywhere she goes. We're sure that she will only soar higher in 2017!

4) Saiyami Kher's Debut
This new kid on the block made her Bollywood debut this year, and she definitely left a mark! And in promoting the movie, she established herself as someone who is here to stay. Not to mention, we're such suckers for those curls!

5) Vaani Kapoor's Fitness
With her new film Befikre still in theatres, Vaani Kapoor's killer body have been on full display everywhere you look. Her hard work definitely shows, and is inspiring us to get our own sh*t together too!

With everyone on the lookout to be a standout on New Year's Eve, it's hard to find and maintain your own statement aesthetic. And though the norm is to wear a shimmery party dress with heels to match, we think it's time to switch it up a little. If you realistically intend to dance and be on your feet all night to bring in the new year, why not do it in the most agreeable shoe there is - the trusty sneaker. But if you think that these kicks are too casual for NYE outfits, then we have just the list for you! Read on for some styling tips, and step into 2017 with comfort!

a) Pair them with culotte pants The formal-casual hybrid outfit is a huge trend lately, and you can take major advantage of that this party season. Like Kendall Jenner, you can pair your sneakers with culotte pants and a cute top for a comfortably chic vibe. It'll prep up the sneakers, and relax the culottes. Perfect for New Year's!

b) Pair them with a midi dress Midi dresses have turned into a must-have in 2016, and we have a feeling that they will definitely work their way into the next year as well. And you can easily pair your favourite plain midi dress with white or coloured sneakers to create a quirky and colourful look! This allows you to look sporty and casual without losing the feminine touch.

c) Pair them with a suit Feeling like embracing your inner Barney Stinson, but don't wanna kill your feet with fancy heels in the process? You know what to do: throw on your favourite sneakers! It adds a sporty vibe to an otherwise posh suit, and can help you fit into both a casual 2017 celebration as well as an upscale one.

d) Pair them with leather pants If you simply prefer a darker aesthetic, then this one is for you. Tuck your favourite tee into fitted leather pants (or a skirt), and pair this with your iconic kicks (preferably high tops). Add some basic gold accents, and voila - a grungy look!

e) Pair them with a graphic shirt dress You know that if Rihanna wore it, then it's totally approved in our books. Wear your cosiest oversized graphic tee as a dress, and pair it with dark lips, and solid coloured sneakers. Just like Ri-Ri, you'll be the most effortlessly badass chick in the room. Who doesn't want that?!

The old Hollywood aesthetic is one that never goes out of style. Gorgeous high-waisted flowy skirts add shape to the body, and the midi length makes you look taller and more regal. And though the skirt remains an old classic, there's new styling tips for you to embrace! Here's our top 3 tips to style high waisted midi skirts —

a) Go for the unexpected: Traditionally, these skirts were worn in pretty pastel prints or just in muted solid colours. But if you want to make a statement with your outfit, opt for skirts in bold prints and colours such as the gorgeous blue and white checkered skirt you can see in our gallery above. Pair it with a laid back top and some statement heels, and you have a killer outfit that nobody will forget!

b) Go old school: Sonam Kapoor was recently spotted in a beautiful purple high waisted midi skirt, paired with the classics - A polka dotted top and a pair of pumps. We thought this look was timeless as hell, and we urge you to look into similar sartorial choices! This classic trio will never let you down.

c) Go a little badass: Neha Dhupia recently shared an #ootd picture, wearing a beige tutu midi skirt with some ageless black pumps. But the twist to the tale was the rest of her outfit, which consisted of a black low-neck choker top and a leather waistbelt. This gave her outfit a more grunge and 90s vibe, and we loved the combination of aesthetics! Take a page out of Neha's book and think outside the box a little. Who knows, it might just pay off!

All-black outfits hold a special place in our hearts—black on black is an infallible combination that flatters every single person, has a slimming effect, and looks chicer than any other colour there is!

So here is some celebrity inspo on different ways you can rock the classic combo of black on black. We selected the best ones from Hollywood as well as right here at home in B-town.

Crop top + leggings like Bella Hadid
If you have a flat belly like Bella and want to flaunt it, pair a black crop top and leggings together.

Bodycon dress + stilettos like Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian
A bodycon dress is the perfect clubbing outfit when paired with a sexy pair of black heels. If you wanna cover up a little more, go the Kourtney way and add a smart faux leather jacket.

Plunging neckline + strappy heels like Irina Shayk
This is what you should go for on nights when you want to feel extra sexy!

Romper + strappy heels like Alia Bhatt
What do you do when you want a cute outfit but don't feel like wearing a dress and don't have the patience to coordinate tops and bottoms? You wear a romper, of course!

Peplum top + stilettos like Parineeti Chopra
A black peplum top is a great, subtle way to add some dimension to your hips if you're lacking in the curves department but still want to look slim.

Bold jumpsuit + red lips like Kendall Jenner
No one does sexy like Kendall. All-black + red lips is a timeless combination!
