Three days gone, two to go. It's funny how we call it London Fashion Week, when it's only five days long, compared to NY's 10. Could we spread it out more evenly over a few more days? Well, the blisters on my feet wholeheartedly think so!

Many of the big hitters showed today, which goes some way to explain why 'Mad Monday' hasn't been as impactful in recent years; Sunday, it would seem, is the new Monday.

Topshop Unique, Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Mary Katrantzou, Vivienne Westwood and Mulberry were just a few of the 'must-see' shows.

Topshop's FROW was definitely lacking the star pulling power its had in previous years in my view, although Karlie Kloss was a nice addition to the regulars- Jourdan, Suki and Lara.

Alexander McQueen's return to London was a huge triumph- inspired by butterflies, the intricate collection was so beautiful and delicate you would probably have a hard time wearing it unless you were a waif. BUT, undeniably it was stunning. Go Sarah, its your birthday.

Mulberry too was the focus of much whispers, as it made its return to the LFW runway three years after its genius CD stepped down and the brand began its decline. Did this collection under Johnny Coca go some way to saving its rep?

Yes and no in my view- there's definitely some Celine-esque touches in the new range of bags, but to me it still lacks the signature Mulberry style we all came to love. Perhaps it will take a season or two to convince me of Coca's worth.

Other highlights for us included being a mere two feet away from Liv Tyler (yes, really) at the Belstaff presentation.

Her capsule collection for the label was stunning- fur lined parkas, military inspired capes and lashings of leather all inspired by the 1920s aviator Amelia Earhart, who also happened to be a Belstaff beaut back in the day.

Well, that's it from me for now. Time to chill before the madness kicks off again tomorrow with Burberry, Christopher Kane & Erdem all taking centre stage...

Taking the reins for the Chanel Metiers d'Art show in Rome, hair genius Sam McKnight created the sexy beehive look worn by the model lineup which included fashion industry stars Lara Stone, Bella Hadid and Freja Beha Erichsen.

"Karl had the idea of something with an air of the French actresses like Anouk Aimee and Romy Schneider who were idolised by the Italian directors at Cinecitta Roma in the late Fifties and early Sixties," Sam told Vogue.

How to get the look? Sam explains exactly how he made it happen: "I used L'Oreal Professionel Tecni Art Full Volume Extra Mousse blow-dried onto the crown, then backcombed with Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray, and then if some girls' hair was still too perfectly clean and silky I sprayed a little Fudge Salt Spray only on the ends, or reactivated product that was already there with a spritz of water.

"Dry curly hair was blown out, with lashings of Moroccanoil Treatment. All in all, I didn't brush the ends or front of the hair, and tucked a section behind the ear, to show off those fabulous Sixties hoop earrings."

Last night, all 800 guests of Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel Metiers d'Art show poured into the Cinecitta film studios on the outskirts of Rome.

Building upon the sensation that was 2014's Salzburg collection, Karl makes do with Twilight's KStew in this year's short film- Once and Forever- given Cara's newfound disdain for the fashion biz.

Having commissioned the building of a night-time Paris street (six weeks in the making), Karl's latest collection was rolled out over the fake cobblestoned roads over which Lara Stone, Sam Rollinson, Bella Hadid and 59 other models strode in backless stilettos sporting backcombed hair.

In between sidling up to Geraldine Chaplin and posing on the fake Parisian street post runway show, Kristen Stewart's performance in Once and Forever received applause from the audience. Watch the video above to see it now!

For the December issue of Glamour Spain, Lara Stone partakes in a monochrome dream photoshoot styled by Monica Oliver and shot by Alique. As the face of L'Oreal Paris, Lara's glamorous smokey eyed beauty look perfectly complements her dark lipstick.

Sporting an oversized white faux fur coat in one image and a monochrome tuxedo blazer in another, Lara makes us all desperately covet the sexy pair of black thigh highs she wears in the shoot.

It's arguably one of the most coveted positions in fashion and ever since Alexander Wang announced his departure from Balenciaga earlier this year, we've been waiting for a replacement to be named.

Well, that wait is over as this morning news broke that Demna Gvasalia has taken up the mantle at the French fashion house.

Currently lead designer for brand Vetements, he will present his first show in March 2016, showcasing Autumn/Winter.

François-Henri Pinault, president and CEO of Kering said: "I am delighted to welcome Demna Gvasalia, a powerful emerging force in today's creative world, as artistic director of Balenciaga.

Demna Gvasalia embodies a unique approach to the profession, marked by a sociological observation of the wardrobe's essentials and the way he remains humble and rigorous in his creative work. I am convinced that he will lead Balenciaga to a successful future."

So what do you think- is he a fitting replacement for Wang? Let us know!

WOW. Lara Stone looks stunning here for Kurt Geiger's AW15 campaign, rocking three of the hottest trends for autumn.

1. Fur Accessorises
From the fur pom pom platforms to tote bags with panels of fur, we can already feel this trend is going to be massive. Who knew Clueless fashion would make a comeback?!

2. Colour Block Totes
Something to carry through, the colour block bag will transition from your mid-summer wardrobe well into AW15. The strong colour block has been seen in Burberry's new tote style, so who wouldn't invest in a summer and winter tote?

3. The Knee High boot
Last AW, it was one of the biggest trends and it's back again for next season. Thanks to Kurt Geiger, this is one style which isn't going anywhere for the next 6 months. Our top tip? Go for over the knee and velvet- set to be huge!

Oh Chanel, how you never disappoint me. Sure Versace was all ethereal woodland and Dior put on the grandest garden party ever was but you, oh you have to go an turn your catwalk into a casino, and a celeb packed one at that.

Their RTW and Haute Couture collections are always a spectacle and this show was no different.

Rita Ora, Lara Stone, Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore, Vanessa Paradis, Lily Collins and new muse of the moment, Lily-Rose Depp all made their entrance one by one or in pairs to take their seats at the gaming tables.

Once seated and able to take up their game of choice, the models began to fill in around them parading Chanel's latest creations.

Closing the show (of course, now Cara's gone into retirement) who else but Kendall Jenner working a severe faux bob and brightly painted cheeks.

Her finale outfit of a white tailored suit complete with a veil was an odd one, but then this is Karl Lagerfeld's show and we're all eager spectators aren't we?

Scroll through our image gallery above and see the celeb packed show in more detail!
