Maybe it’s a clever tactic to simultaneously keep warm and spread a little holiday cheer, or just Save the Children’s genius charity fundraising idea but Christmas jumpers are officially a thing. And as it’s Christmas Jumper day this Friday 15th December, if you see one you like: buy it and put it on asap. All your favourite brands have knitted up some real festive treats from witty puns and slogans, to reindeer and gingerbread motifs, and a sprinkling of stars for those trying to limit the tacky factor. Opt for a tinsel style if you want to take yours into partywear territory. The best thing about a cosy Christmas jumper is that you can wear them everyday over the holidays, no matter your age and size, and the extra room to house an inevitable food baby come Boxing Day is a bonus. To join in properly, Save the Children only asks for a £2 donation in exchange for flaunting your delightful knit.

Shop the Christmas jumpers that get a thumbs up from us below.

Hi dad! Are you looking for your sweater? I’m sorry but its mine now! Dad style is a trend now. Dad sneakers, dad sweaters… Don’t underestimate them, this season dads are our trendsetters. This half buttoned knitwear is trending on social media as bloggers embrace this style. Very used to of seeing my dad opt for many colours of this sweater, I’ve seen womenswear collections replicate this style. I couldn’t help but try out this ‘soon-to-become-popular’ trend. Marks & Spencers, Ralph Lauren, and especially J.W. Anderson for Uniqlo has options for you to try. My dad gifted me one after being scared of his sweaters disappearing day by day… #uniqlo #marksandspencers #ralphlauren #dad #dadstyle #dadfashion #trend #sweater #knitwear #menswear

As we move closer towards winter months and brace ourselves for chilly weather, less daylight and more time indoors sipping a hot cup of coffee or wine - our wardrobes also transition. During this time of changing seasons we want to feel comfortable, yet elegant and stylish - oversized sweaters and all of that hygge feeling!

Winter is really about individual style, as more materials require greater stylistic flair. The good thing is you can find the best selection of premium quality products all under one roof. YOOX, provides without fail a wide choice of hard-to-find clothing and accessories from the most prestigious designers.

From beautifully crafted mules and cross-body bags at Prada, to party dresses at CELINE, to a plethora of bold patterns at Emilio Pucci, to severe diva vibes at Balmain and all your athleisure essentials at Rick Owens and Stella McCartney.

PARTY LOOK

You can pair a sleek Alaia dress with a faux fur leopard print coat, high stilleto heels and a bold lip for a night out with the girls.

COMFY LUXE

Cashmere, velvet and leather as well as luxe chunky knitwear are very on trend for this winter. You can dress them down with a classic pair of denim jeans and ankle boots or pair a chunky knit with a leather skirt and thigh high boots for party look that is both chic yet relaxed.

STATEMENT COATS

This season it's all about statement coats that keep us warm and are utterly chic at the same time. Think a long streamlined brown CELINE coat for a trenchcoat alternative, a cool bomber jacket from Emilio Pucci or go for a romantic cape from CHLOE.

SUITED UP

From Stella McCartney to Victoria Beckham the suiting trend is inspired by power women especially Hillary Rodham Clinton and has made a serious comeback. From checks, to white sleek suits from Moschino and Jil Sander to buttoned-ups with tie at Roberto Cavalli, there's no way you can go wrong with the 2017's version of the power working girl.

Winter is all about spending quality time with loved ones and we think it's time to treat them to a little gift. We're pleased to announce that from Sunday October 29th through Tuesday October 31st, YOOX is offering up to 25% off your favorite designer styles.

Cardigans are an excellent way to elevate any casual outfit without much effort and more style than a stale hoodie or blazer. #fcfbfb">One of the oldest documented garments on record moving from the courtroom to the church, to the boxing ring and the boudoir the coverup's fluidity is not only in form but also in purpose. More specifically, over the past few seasons, robes, coverups and their comfy relative the cardigan, are being incorporated into our everyday wardrobes without the granny-chic connotation.

From Etro to a plethora of vibrant prints and colours at Roberto Cavalli to botanical garden inspiration at Alberta Ferretti pure Americana vibes at Elie Saab, the runways were filled with coverup inspiration. Looking for the classic style of cashmere? Lord & Taylor has a fantastic selection that is also quite affordable as part of their pre-Black Friday sales!

Pair them with a cool denim pair of trousers, or a skirt, or opt for the uber cool version of a floor-length velvet robe and wear it over your favourite LBD with over the knee boots for the perfect going out look!

Whatever your style this season have a look at our exclusive edit below and you'll find the perfect cover-up for you!

A perfectly streamlined closet is one that is updated regularly, ideally every season. The best way to closet cleanse is to clear out the items that you haven't worn in the past 6 months and fill out the space with fresh and exciting items, both seasonal and instant classics. Now, the problem with this process is that new collections are expensive and items are full-priced, and past collections, although on sale, are well, so in the past. Which is why we're very excited about Ted Baker's Autumn Shopping event, offering 20% off its entire new collection.

From wool coats and dazzling dresses, to cozy knitwear and stylish separates, there's definitely something that will make you smile this season. As for the men in our lives, Ted’s tailoring ranges from classic to contemporary styles and has a selection of top quality casuals. Take your pick from statement prints to luxe textures and distinctive silhouettes! You can also snatch an array of accessories for both ladies and gents at 20% off.

Hurry! The sale lasts from Wednesday 18th October to Friday 21st October! See the full collection here and browse our favourite items in our exclusive edit below:

Selena looks adorable here on the streets of New York. Her outfit is completely casual with an understated black polo neck and matching loafers, paired with jeans. The cardigan makes the look. An oversized, vintage-style knit which is made modern with her sleek sunglasses and statement hoop earrings. Effortlessly chic. #SelenaGomez #NYC #NewYork #vintage #knitwear #autumnstyle #celebritystyle #fashion #denim #jeans #cardigan Image: ELLE.com

After Amber Valletta made an impressive entrance at Saint Laurent's SS18 show sporting a thigh-high, shiny leather skirt paired with stilletos at Paris Fashion Week, the world took notice. Not because of it's novelty, leather and vinyl skirts have been trending more than kale in 2014, but more so as a tribute to the legacy of Yves Saint Laurent.

If you think about it a YSL wardrobe heavily depends on a quality short leather skirt sported with luxe knitwear mini crossbody handbags and sexy super high stilettos. And Amber Valetta wasn't alone in noticing this trend during fashion month.

Alexa Chung, Chloe Sevigny as well as models Jourdan Dunn and Winni Harlow went for the thigh-grazing skirt. Not only are mini skirts trending from street style, Instagram feeds and the catwalks but they look amazing in winter. Despite cold days and darker nights ahead, we can’t wait to snuggle up in our favourite knits to carry us right through the winter season! The luxurious material has the unique capability to make us feel both comfy and elegant. It's probably the reason why we see it over and over again in multiple variations every fall season on the catwalk.

We're absolutely crushing over the new collection of luxe knits at MissPap! From very on-trend colours like tomato red and mustard yellow, to different silhouettes like off-the-shoulder, cropped, oversized, and oh-so-chic

HOW TO WEAR KNITS THIS SEASON

Indulge in a hygge knit, and pair it with a vinyl black skirt, ankle boots, and a chain cross-body bag on a chilly night out.

Go for an off-the-shoulder striped number and wear it with your favourite pair of jeans, thigh-high boots, and a mini backpack for after-work drinks.

Opt for an uber cool slouchy look by donning the knit with a tracksuit and mules. That very distinctive late 90s look will give you many points of utter street and urban flair.

Snuggle up to a floor-length knit cardigan over your favourite tea dress, paired with tights and flat booties. This very sleek and coddled look will be your ultimate go-to outfit for Sunday brunch with the girls.

Use the code CHILL15 and get 15% off all knitwear from MissPap!

"Waterfalls are the healthiest thing in the world" Karl Lagerfeld declared, just moments after the unveiling of his SS 2018 Chanel show where rocks reminiscent of Georges du Verdon, the infamous canyon the the South-East of France transformed his favourite Grand Palais into an impressive waterfall. Kaia Gerber opened the SS18 Chanel show.

The collection was refreshing, hopeful and utterly therapeutic. From fringed knitwear that moved like forest debris, to bright PVC mini dresses, evening dresses embroidered with seawater detailing, and water drops on fabric.

We absolutely fell in love with the Sixties futurism, very Barbarella, in plastic see-through thigh high boots, plastic trenches, rain hats and gloves. Jane Fonda (who made an appearance in the Balmain x L'oreal collaboration show) would be the perfect it-girl to model this collection, as she also sported fringes and faux fur in late Sixties iconic Barbarella.

Truly a Space Age masterpiece where environmentalism and escapism make for  a breathtaking result!
