Don’t forget about yourself when you’re spreading the love this Valentine’s Day. Pat yourself on the back for sourcing great gifts for loved ones, then go one better by picking something extra special from KIMSU for yourself. You’re worth it and for the uninitiated, this rising, Berlin based jewellery brand specialises in the kind of sophisticated and environmentally respectable styles that are catching the eye of industry insiders. Think abstract geometric forms in recycled silver and an exclusive shade of gold that are handcrafted into the kind of earrings, necklaces and rings that will make any outfit compliment-worthy. Not to mention the dynamic architectural air they exude, and the fact that founders Sue Woo Kim and Roberto Bertinetti have specifically designed these pieces to empower the wearer by imitating strong symbols of strength.

Whether you like your jewellery clean and simple or accented with premium gemstones, there’s a perfect style for you. Your search for impactful everyday earrings is over thanks to the Triangolo studs. Available in silver and blue or gold and green colourways with matching necklaces, you can rotate them to show off the triangle’s different orientations and be sure to tuck your hair behind your ears so they can be admired. Indulge your penchant for minimal rings, if you have one, because there are on-point single and double finger options. And if you’re after something show-stopping for after dark, try the Scala Drop Earrings or Pendant for a progressive take on modern glamour.

Discover the debut collection highlights in the gallery above then shop your favourite(s) in the edit below.

Kim Kardashian is still rocking her platinum hair for the cover of Vogue Taiwan. And I really like how the vibe of her entire look is all neutral, including her stunning makeup made of nude and brown shades. I think it's the first time I see Kim with only false eyelashes on the outer corners of her eyes, and it looks really pretty. What're your thoughts on the look? Don’t get your hopes up when it comes to the latest Spice Girls reunion. Yes they’re back together, and we have the instagram snaps to prove it, but they’re not going to actually sing or release any new material. Sad Face. According to the Guardian and The Sun, Baby (Emma Bunton), Sporty (Mel C), Scary (Mel B), Posh (Victoria Beckham) and Ginger (Geri Horner) have accepted £10m each for a deal that might include ‘television in China, a new talent show, a second greatest hits compilation and a variety of endorsement deals.’ Just when we needed new #girlpower anthems more than ever, and the original kind from the original ‘90s trailblazers, they’re not going to give us any. Regardless of whether the announcement is more money fuelled than nostalgia fuelled, we’re excited to see them back and don’t they look well? Oh well, it’s back to rinsing their Spice and Spiceworld albums and another Spiceworld film marathon is in order.

While we wait to see how the Spice Girls circa 2018 plays out, we can keep paying homage to the girl group sartorially. The ‘90s fashion trend shows no signs of dying which means the styles they wore in their heyday 20 years ago are still hot. If you’re a sucker for a black slip dress, you’re subconsciously channelling Posh, if it’s white or pink Baby, and Mel B helped make Doc Martens so streetwise. In fact she was wearing cameo cargo pants before Destiny’s Child did in the Survivor video. And with the Brits later this month, who can forget Geri’s Union Jack dress? But arguably Sporty’s look is currently the most influential with everyone from Kim Kardashian to streetstyle star rocking sportswear and statement sneakers.

Check out our Spice Girls gallery above and shop their iconic looks in our edits below.

Any trend that doesn’t really require ironing gets an extra thumbs up from us. Enter ruching (ruche), defined by Oxford Dictionary as a decorative frill or pleat of fabric, which sometimes has a drawstring attached so you can control and adapt it. You’ll remember the horizontal pleats (creases?) and fabric gatherings that took centre stage on the most memorable dresses in Pretty Women and your favourite ‘80s films. And for good reason because they showed off the wearer’s figure to mouth-opening effect, creating covetable curves. Ruching is one of Dolce & Gabbana’s bombshell signatures, while Kim Kardashian-West wore a sheer ruched minidress to the 2016 VMAs which spawned countless copycats. Balenciaga’s Creative Director Demna Gvasalia has given the technique a revamp, and most importably for our wardrobes, real daytime appeal by using it in his recent collections.

We’re most taken with ruched dresses, rather than tops, because they are winning one-and-done outfits. They’ll help you flaunt the fabulous figure you’ve been honing at the gym in a more notable, fashion-y way than a basic body-con dress. Whether the decorative detail is confined to the bust, employed to whittle your waist like an infinitely more comfortable corset, or all over: modern styles come in all lengths, shapes and colours with barely a whiff of the ‘80s. You can cover up or go sheer (visible underwear is another key micro trend, by the way, that Bella Hadid is owning) and the silhouette created will wow. Perfect, then, for any Valentine’s day dates you'll have coming up; during the day or after dark.

Kim Kardashian stuns in this vintage mini dress, which she wore during Christmas Eve! It's perfect for figure hugging and really accentuates her curves. Most brands now are going more for vintage looks, combining classic style with the new! #vintage #Dior #minidress Credit: Daily Mail

In a social media world of constant imitation, faking and plain copycats, it was inevitable that a platform would surface calling out any fashion injustice. We're not only talking about your basic high street brand or celebrity brand (Hey Khloe Kardashian!) imitating pieces to the extent that you can't tell them apart. "Diet Prada", aims to tackle any issue in the fashion industry that it condemns unjust:

From the exclusion of certain models from the runway due to any discrimination from race to skin colour, weight or sexual preference. Sexual harassment allegations and overall bad treatment of models is also addressed in the account.

The great part is that although it tackles serious issues the tone of voice is very tongue-in-cheek almost snarky without reaching the point of mean. Here you can find anything from a fake ad for VETEMENTS featuring Kim Kardashian to Rihanna's version of a famous Stella Mccartney faux fur coat to Alice + Olivia copying vintage YSL to models copying each other poses.
