I think kids fashion it's so fun! I can't wait to have my little ones to dress them and teach them how to have fun with clothes.  I personally love the color match between the mustard top and the turquoise jumper that have the little girl and this image.  One color is very warm and another one on the cooler side both work together so well.  Photo Credit: @mamamakepush on twitter. #fashion #look #kids #outfit

Pink shirt day started as an act of kindness that turned into a global movement to stop bullying online and offline. This year, Pink Shirt Day, is focused in battling online bullying, whether it takes the shape of harassment, spreading rumours, sharing embarrassing information or threats using the hashtag #kindnessneedsnofliter. According to the numbers, 1 in 5 kids are bullied. The problem has only escalated as it moved from the playgrounds and schools to online.

THE STORY OF THE PINK SHIRT

In 2007 a young boy showed up in a pink shirt on his first day of school and was bullied as a result by a fellow student. The next day David Shepherd, Travis Price and their friends wore pink shirts in camaraderie for the unlucky young man. This simple act stopped the bullying and fuelled a global movement that brings awareness of bullying and raises funds for community programs that help spread the anti-bullying message. Here’s more on their story. So today wear a pink shirt to work, or for drinks  and donate to the Pink Shirt Cause. Like the Pink Shirt Facebook Page a like and use the Hashtag #pinkshirtday to stop bullying online.

HOW TO WEAR

This shade of pink, the hot pink slightly more neon shade, is very much on trend also. Rihanna’s has been essential to the popularity of this hue. It was the color of the sand mountains for her SS18 Fenty show and a prominent color in the collection itself. Growing from the omnipresent millennial pink of last season, this shade of pink is bolder and more vibrant.

Scroll down below and discover the best pink shirts you can sport and support a great cause!

Although last season designers were trading the New York catwalks for British and Parisian shows, this year it seems that London has followed New York's example. Most notably, Topshop abandoned the runway for its traditional Unique show while Emporio Armani and  Tommy Hilfiger also forewent the shows as they were a big departure from London's experimental design team. However, LFW is all about fresh designers, innovative thinking unexpected garments, and bold statements.

THE NEWCOMERS

AV Robertson who designed for Marc Jacobs and Presented at Fashion East is one of the emerging designers to watch. Matty Bovan is a press favourite already as she made the cut of The Kids Are Alright in British Vogue's January issue. After earning the Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the Fashion Awards in September, Michael Halpern is constructing an ambitious production and a much-anticipated collection.

THE VETS

We'll witness the departure of Christopher Bailey from Burberry on Saturday after 17 years with the House. Johny Coca from Mulberry will be back on the London stage after a small detour to Paris in September, while Delpozo is bringing ball gowns to London in the place of Ralph & Russo. We're really excited to see JW Anderson whose missed the usual Men's show but is putting on his first co-ed collection.

THE REGULARS

Even though we may be missing a few names from the list, we can still count on Roksanda, Erdem and Christopher Kane to impress at LFW. Newcomer Michael Halpern will throw a soiree with Brows while Gareth Pugh is hosting a decadent party of his own. Sunday is all about Edward Enninful's British Vogue BAFTA party that will follow after the ceremony.Ready for a taste of London Fashion Week? Scroll down below and shop everything British!

How are you celebrating Chinese New Year? Because some of your favourite brands have released limited edition products so you can kick off the Year of the Dog in great style. Naturally canines have been unleashed on everything from cool t-shirts, to trophy bags, phone cases and contemporary jewellery, most adorably by Radley; and cult cartoon Betty Boop’s dog Pudgy is the star of Moschino's capsule pieces. Red, a colour synonymous with good fortune and joy for the Chinese (traits that hopefully transfer to the wearer), has been incorporated however possible. We particularly like how the hue breathes new life into Adidas’ Tubular trainers and Kenzo’s streetstyle approved tiger motif. That mini backpack would be an enviable addition to any wardrobe.

Men, or women who prefer a sloucher fit, can take their pick from the vibrant hoodies and sweatshirts that are guaranteed to lift your everyday uniform. And for special occasions and suit-loving dandies, there are eye-catching pocket squares ready and waiting. Beauty buffs can snap up YSL’s thematic lip vault of 12 desirable shades, while Giorgio Armani’s satin-like powder gives every tone an illuminating glow, and Origins and Clinique have rolled out decorative new packaging.

Alexander Wang hit the runway last week at New York Fashion Week. Monochrome and sleek it really was something to behold. I have to say I did see some of these slick shades and straight structures and, well, anyone remember Spy Kids? Fashion for the sleekest undercover agent. Jokes aside this is one completely cool line. Image: Imaxtree

There’s something very appealing about the backpack. It’s compact, practical and ultra chic! Kendall Jenner Emily Ratajkowski and Hayley Baldwin are only a few of the influencers that got behind the trend. It’s Kendall and Kylie after all who created backpacks with faux fur embellishments as part of their eponymous collection.

The popularity of the trend depends heavily on its versatility. More than any other season the backpack has exceeded our expectations. Yes, you can still fill it with all your athletic gear on your way to the gym.

You can also wear a smart luxe backpack to the office or you can opt for a sleek backpack mini on a night out. We've seen Gigi Hadid sporting hers so now it's time to get your mitts on yours! From Luxury Saint Laurent and Givenchy fashion packs to practical Knomo office bags and roll top Herschel bags, we've got the edit for him, her, adult, teens and kids!

Everyone is still talking about the cute pregnancy announcement by Kylie Jenner, who after of 9 months of speculation and a social media cleanse broke the news of the birth of her baby girl. As any new mummy she's going to need all the help she can get. On the search for answers and a bit of entertainment, we have prepared a list of the funniest mummy bloggers around.

It's difficult becoming a new mom, probably one of the toughest jobs as it comes with no manual. At least that was the case until an array of mommy amateurs dominated the blogosphere sharing their pearls of wisdom, from activities to recipes and must needed rants. And though the role of the mummy blogger has evolved welcoming new ones every year, it's remained true in its core. In creating a community and a sense of comradery amongst young moms.

Here are the 7 mommy bloggers you should follow now!

‘Life in plastic, it’s fantastic” sang Aqua in the Nineties hit ‘Barbie Girl’ but we’d definitely disagree now that some horrifying evidence and stats have come to more prominent light. A recent Refinery 29 article revealed that plastic takes at least 450 years to break down after reaching the sea: even if it’s ground down into tiny pieces. That means ecosystems are affected as wildlife eat and/or get stuck in it and the food chain too because fish and salt can contain plastic traces as well. Just let that sink in for a moment and consider the fact that almost everything is packaged in or made more durable using plastic- food, beauty products, clothes… You can’t say the environmentalists didn’t warn us.

If you’re wondering how you can reduce your plastic consumption, you’re already doing it. The 5p charge for plastic bags in the UK that you probably curse when you forget your canvas bag at home has already seen a 83% drop in usage since 2015. And plastic microbeads formerly found in cosmetics are banned. Iceland became the world's first supermarket to ban plastic packaging this week. Next up is a possible ‘latte levy’: a 25p charge on single use coffee cups which are apparently plastic-lined and therefore not biodegradable. Pret’s offering a 50p discount if you bring your own cup for your morning hot beverage and other companies have followed suit. Don’t forget about plastic water bottles either, and soon the straw in your cocktail or milkshake will disappear or be paper instead of plastic as more business ban them.

To fight plastic pollution more proactively, we’ve rounded the best reusable cups, straws and bottles around right now in our edits below.

You probably heard about the controversy surrounding one of H&M’s kids slogan hoodies earlier this month by now. Which got us thinking about the perils of wearing a seemingly innocent slogan without considering the repercussions. Because as that story showed, you might not be offended by the message spelled out but other people who see you in real life and/or on social media in it might be and they could aggressively confront you about it. Swear words (disguised or not) and double entendres are most problematic as you have no idea of knowing what meaning individuals place of different words or phrases. On the other hand, why should you and your clothing be censored? One of fashion’s fundamental principles is freedom of expression and we are lucky enough to live in a country where we can wear what we want. While there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed (nothing discriminatory, racist, homophobic, sexist etc), you should be able to wear your sense of humour or thoughtfully share your opinion should you wish.

As a general rule of thumb, though, we’d say if you’re in doubt, don’t wear it out. Stick to the positive, easy-to-laugh at, empowering and motivational phrases that are sure to spark a smile or provoke conversation. Also be sure that you believe in and stand by what your hoodie says as you will be judged by it. Dior arguably sparked the new wave of slogan clothing with their ‘We should all be feminists’ t-shirt, inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s powerful Ted talk and essay, and printing or embroidering words on a warmer hoodie is a winter-perfect upgrade.

We’ve rounded up our favourite slogan hoodies for women, men and children for you to shop in our edit below.
