Kate Moss is ever the style icon, here wearing the YSL bag, which is set to be an SS18 hit. This cross body animal-printed bag may look small but it is definitely something we'll be looking to take on a night out. #ysl #katemoss Credit: britishvogue

Now that we're seeing the back of yet another season of London Fashion Week, let's take a moment to reflect on which shows over the years have captured the hearts and imaginations of everyone around the globe!

Scroll through our gallery above to see videos and imagery from shows of yesteryear.

From Alexander McQueen's Voss show in which Kate Moss and fellow models performed within a giant glass box (the finale is also quite spectacular!) to the time Prince performed on the catwalk at Matthew Williamson's SS08 show, take a peak at which designers did what to carve their mark on LFW...

Nipples, they cause quite a lot of drama. Well, a woman's nipple does, men's aren't seen in the same light. Because, you know, sexism. Instagram and Facebook have a no-nipple policy, but mens are exempt.

Why? We all know what nipples look like, we all know that women have them and there is nothing inherently sexual about them- if the individual sees them as sexy, then great, but unless that is the intent it shouldn't be assumed.

The #FreeTheNipple campaign has been going for a while now with thousands onboard, but the bosses over at Instagram and Facebook still aren't being swayed. C'mon guys, can you not see the hypocrisy? Boobs are continually hyper-sexualised and used to sell products that have nothing to do with them, like beer, but if a woman breast-feeds in public people lose their sh*t.

The patriarchal world we live in likes to pick and chose how and when it sees boobs, a bit of cleavage or spread across page 3 is normal, it's 'acceptable'. A woman showing her nipples in public, whether that's as a form of activism, to feed a baby or just because they want to, causes outcry- because a man hasn't specifically asked to see them or the act isn't aimed at a man for his sexual pleasure.

For example, we live in a society that lapped up Kim Kardashian's sex tape but went mental over her posting a nude image of herself. Society is cool with it if the man feels in control of seeing nipples but not when an empowered woman shows them.

Nipples are cool, they look badass and can really transform a basic outfit into something that feels high-end. The nipple is a powerful feature because of its history of oppression, and that's why it makes such an impact on the runway and in real life.

Supermodels have often shown their nipples, not as an act of seduction but as something sexual aggressive; it shows strength and empowerment. Kate Moss was the poster child of the '90s nipple, her androgynous look is on one side what made the imagery so powerful, but also it feeds into this sexist ideology that small breasts are more palatable because they look more masculine.

Lous Stoppard made an interesting comment about this double standard, when she stated "But it's hard to imagine even the progressive style magazine popping a bare-breasted Upton on the cover. Rightly or wrongly, that would feel too page 3".

Cara, Kendall and Gigi are the new wave of supermodels embracing the nipple, yet it seems that this is even more controversial then it was in the '90s. Kendall recently wore a sheer top that showed her nipples and nipple piercing, and it sent the media into a frenzy.

I'd love if the reason it caused such a stir was simply because she looked stunning and the nipples really add a lil something to the look, but no, it was deemed "scandalous" and "provocative" by publications like the Daily Mail.

The only real reason they are given so much attention is because they've been kept hidden for so long, the nipples are what the ankle was in the 1900s. They are just another feature, no more provocative than a toe. So, let's embrace them and see them as just another feature that looks cute sartorially, like shoulders or the midriff.

After 20 years Kate Moss is reunited with Calvin Klein, and it feels oh so good. The supermodel and icon, now 42, has joined forces with CK in their new A/W campaign.

Alongside 27 other stars, this CK campaign will be one to remember. With the likes of Bella Hadid, Margot Robbie and Grace Coddington all being featured.

Shot by Tyrone Lebon the images continue with the #mycalvins theme that has been used for the past four seasons, and isn't showing any signs of changing.

Kate Moss, as usual, looks like a goddess.

Kylie and PUMA's collaboration is back, and even better than before! The first image was released by Puma on their Instagram page which they captioned 'The PUMA Suede started its story in 1968. Worn by athletes, b-boys, and hip hop stars of the day. Today, the story continues on the feet of another icon: PUMA Suede continues on the feet of another icon: PUMA suede meet @KylieJenner'.

Kylie then posted the second photo, making clear glass frames cool. Seriously. She captioned it 'Throwing it back with @PUMA and the #Suede'.

We've got to say this campaign is a lot more original then their previous one, which you can watch above. Bringing back the Suedes with Kylie is pretty similar to adidas bringing back the Gazelles with Kate Moss, let the battle of the trainers begin!

Gathering in London's Leicester Square last night for the premiere of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, the glitterati were led by Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone (stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, respectively) on the gold carpet.

The film's trailer shows Edina and Patsy fleeing to the French Rivera after accidentally killing Kate Moss as an industry party. Luckily, this one aspect of the Ab Fab world has no overlap with reality as Kate Moss is pictured happily posing for the paparazzi with designer Stella McCartney (who also appears in the film).

adidas are reusing an archival image of Kate Moss wearing the Gazelle trainer from 1993 as part of a new relaunch campaign.

The Gazelle is one of the brand's most popular, and certainly most iconic trainer (it has been around since the 1960s). Since Stan Smiths came back into the limelight in 2011, the company are hoping to emulate its success with the Gazelle.

Gary Aspden, an adidas brand consultant stated that 'Like the Gazelle, Kate Moss is just as relevant in 2016 as she was back in the 1990s, which is why this image works so well'.

The campaign has been created by digital artist Doug Abraham who transformed the image of Kate into a video. Watch the campaign video above!

Glasto was this weekend, and surprise surprise it was extremely muddy! However, many celebs still managed to look festival-chic and on trend.

Alexa wore some vinyl trousers which were very similar to the ones Kate Moss wore in 2007, Adele wore a custom Chloe dress to perform in and Cressida Bonas repeated her usual Glasto uniform of a hoody and dungarees.

Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor stepped out and were arguably the best dressed celeb couple this year!

Update: As the excitement mounts for The Ab Fab release, take a sneaky peek at the newest featurette with an insane amount of celeb appearances!

There have been A LOT of reboots & sequels recently, which haven't exactly lived up to their hype (erm, Zoolander 2, we're looking at you) but dare we say it, Ab Fab The Movie looks set to be a corker!

Yes, Edie and Patsy are back in this first official trailer, which rather hilariously features Kate Moss tumbling in the Thames, the revelation that Patsy hooked up with Jon Hamm and Stella McCartney can throw a mean brick!

Chock-a-block full of cameos and signature Ab Fab humour (a pariah is a kind of fish, huh Edina?!) if the movie delivers on what this trailer promises, we're in for a hilarious ride... sweetie.

Watch now!
