Whether it's your go-to or fallback look, rest assured that even the stars turn to monochrome for parties, premieres and awards ceremonies.

Rumours of a second pregnancy despite just giving birth in October didn't seem to bother Mila Kunis as she attended a film preview at London's Corinthia Hotel. Showing off a plunge neck button detail top with matching skirt, Mila's all-cream outfit contrasted wonderfully with her dark flowing locks.

Next, Gigi Hadid wowed fans and paparazzi alike on the red carpet at the MMAs on Sunday with her #Hadid cream leather jacket and crop top/midi skirt co-ord set. Finishing off her look with super slick pointed cream heels, we can't wait to see Gigi's next red carpet outfit!

Celebrating at the Vogue and Ralph Lauren Wimbledon party at The Orangery on Monday evening, Lily James and Jessica Chastain resembled ying and yang style with Lily in all-white and Jessica in all-black.

Posing pretty at the Terminator: Genisys premiere in Berlin, Khaleesi Emilia Carke opted for strappy black stilettos and a structured monochrome strapless dress while Amber Heard kept it truly minimal after dissing the Aussie government in a cream cami and skirt combo.

Lastly, representing the Kardashian/Jenner clan this week is none other than Kylie Jenner! The 17-year-old showcased her wares in an extreme plunge, sheer black dress which undoubtedly stayed up with a generous helping of tit tape.

With stunning red carpet looks, comes with the best beauty looks, accessories, even nails at the Met Gala event. This year's theme, China: Looking through the glass may been a tricky one for attendees as they can misinterpret the theme in the eyes of many.

So even with the little details such as their makeup, accessories, and mostly headpieces for this event, they put the extra effort to embrace and flawlessly wear the theme appropriately. Here are some of the best looks we've picked from this years Met Gala.

1. Red, Bold Lips: From Chloe Sevingy, Jessica Chastain and Carey Mulligan, these ladies wore crimson, to bright red orange hues on their lips.

2. Nude Battle: Rosie Hungtinton Whiteley, Candice Swanepoel, and Kendall Jenner - these stunning ladies with the freshest faces were the belles of the night.

3. Floral, Intricate, Dazzling Headpieces: While Selena Gomez, Chrissy Teigen, and Georgia May Jagger looked ethereal in their floral headpieces, we've got Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Zendaya Coleman wore extravagant head pieces to live up to the gala's theme.

4. High ponytails, topknots, pigtails, bangs and bobs: Stars let their hair do the talking for the most part, but with the exception of Beyonce who nailed this year's look from head to toe. But we do love and adore, Dakota Johnson's new do with her lovely soft bob.

5. Striking Eyes: From an unrecognizable Adriana Lima, to Karlie Kloss' jade eyeliner, Vanessa Hudgen's smokey eyes and once again Dakota's perfect winged eyeliner, sultry, striking eyes were a hit.

The Met Gala saw a parade of celebrity beauty looks we can't wait to try out ourselves. However glamorous all the lively ladies were at last night's big event, here's who caught our eye with totally wearable party make-up...

Kendall - She might've been dressed in a glitzy Calvin Klein gown but this girl's beauty look was kept minimal for extra impact. With her super straight hair and dead on centre parting, we also envy Kendall's bold brows and voluminous lashes.

RiRi - Sure, her outfit may have been a tad too much but no-one can take away this Bajan beauty's natural glow! Highlighting her cheeks with a deep peachy blush, Rihanna's beauty look also uses bold eyeliner.

Rosie Huntington-Whitely - Rolling up to the Met Gala in her super sweet ride, this posh princess flaunts beautiful dewy skin and delicious looking red ombre lips...

Beyonce - Bey certainly didn't want to be upstaged by any sibling drama this year and her Met Gala beauty look shows it! Her eyes and lashes may be a highlight but her sassy updo steals the show - no questions asked.

Jessica Chastain - This Oscar winner's got Hollywood Waves pinned down to a tee! Her look is easily recreated with the help of some moisturising red lip colour and a good set of ghds ;)

Gigi Hadid - With another wavy hair do on our list of faves, Gigi's waves are a lot more loose and encapsulate the boho spirit. To get her shimmering lip beauty look, grab a sheer nude lipstick.

Scroll right to see our gallery and WATCH what else Kendall brought to the glamorous event...+ Shop below for what you'll need to recreate their looks!

Last night saw the 72nd Golden Globes Awards hit our screens; who else stayed up late and tuned in? Here, we’ve lined up some of our favourite looks from the red carpet as A-Listers showed off their fashion sense to the rest of the world…and how you can recreate these looks! we absolutely love Emma Stone in her black and gold Lanvin jumpsuit. This Birdman star sports two classic red carpet shades with a modern twist as she steers from the atypical gown most ladies don for such occasions. That’s not to say the classics aren’t welcome however since Jessica Chastain sweeps across the red carpet in her floor-length metallic Versace gown with plunge neck detail. With her silhouette being that of a classic movie icon’s, what’s there not to love? Versace definitely seems to be a winner at last night’s awards as supermodel Heidi Klum took to the red carpet in a sleek hot red number paired with Jimmy Choo heeled sandals. Going for red lipstick to emphasize her confident demeanor even more, this seductress makes formal dressing look so easy! Lastly, with Pitch Perfect 2 set to release this year, we couldn't be happier that Anna Kendrick made it onto our best dressed list; her plunge neck prom-dress style gown by Monique Lhuillier surely turned heads all throughout the night as she sashayed across the floor. #goldenglobes #jessicachastain #heidiklum #annakendrick #emmastone #hollywood #redcarpet #celebritystyle #awardsseason #bestdressed

With A most Violent Year receiving widespread acclaim, actress Jessica Chastain is making waves on both the international and Hollywood style scene. Set in 1981 New York - the most violent year in the city’s history - this film follows the lives of Abel and Anna Morales. ‘80s fashion makes another bold statement in this feature film and captured here, Jessica Chastain’s character dons a cleavage displaying dress with a cinched waist. Her blonde bob is contrasted by her deep red lipstick and gold accessories. Jessica Chastain Photo Credit: Instagram #JessicaChastain #AMostViolentYear #NYC #Hollywood #MAC #Wonderbra #80sFashion
