As we're moving closer to Labour Day there's clearly one thought on our minds the end of summer. So we want to make the most of those last summer days and warm nights.

We here at Shopcade have prepared a small travel guide with the best cities to visit for a quick weekend getaway:

Napa Valley

For your ultimate wine tasting getaway book a room near a vineyard and fully indulge yourself in what the city has to offer:  olive groves, and the Mayacamas Mountains.

Calistoga, California

Looking for a romantic getaway with your significant other? How about a secluded ranch in the middle of California offering plenty of activities outdoors and impressive wooden interiors of a classically crafted lodge.

Connecticut

If you think that romance is dead then how about going to a place where Victorian romanticism and architecture thrive? Yes, we're talking about Connecticut and its offering of 19th century fairytails in the charming seaport village of Mystic, Connecticut.

Twin Farms, Barnard, Vermont

For a truly romantic weekend of yesteryear aesthetic look no further than Vermont. There between the maple and pine trees of Barnard, lies a 18th century  farmhouse that once belonged to Nobel Prize-winning writer Sinclair Lewis. Literary getaway check!

Tennesee

To experience the true farmhouse adventure head to the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee. You'll be surprised to find amazing farms with a few sparse bucolic hill cottages and grand, multi-bedroom homes. Fill your days  with pursuits like horseback riding, fly-fishing, and canoeing and enjoy indulgent dinners at the hotel.

Ready to pack your bags? Scroll below for the ultimate weekend getaway looks!

The Beauty and the Beast film hits the cinemas on the 17th of March and the hype over it is huge.

This time though, the craze is not contained to Disney fanatics but hit the entire world by storm. Its influence is surprisingly far reaching, from Beauty and the Best themed afternoon tea at London hotels to primark chip purses as well as a capsule collection from the collaboration between the jewellery designer Alex Monroe and Disney.

And if that wasn’t enough, the film even influenced luxury labelsl! The renowned London designer Christopher Kane has just released a limited edition capsule collection of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories inspired by the film. The designer said he has always loved Disney movies, and was particularly inspired by the Beauty and Beast for its “strong female voice”.

The collection contains many enchanted rose designs printed on clothes and teacups on many of the jewellery pieces. The colours, such as the fairy blue, are inspired by the Beast’s castle interiors and his face is even printed on the more sporty merchandise.

The capsule will launch online and in stores on 16th March, but you can already get a sneak peak of the designs by scrolling through the gallery!

You can't need all of them....

Feng Shui is the Chinese practice of curating a space to make it harmonious with the natural world, and have the best possible energy flow. It was originally used for holy sites, but many people now incorporate these ancient principles into their home decor.

Here are our top 6 favorite Feng Shui tips:

1. Purify your environment - a HEPA filtered fan or air-purifying houseplants can do wonders for your energy.

2. Reduce clutter - too much stuff wears away at your mood.

3. Water elements - an aquarium or small fountain brings soothing movement and sound.

4. Improve your lighting - full spectrum bulbs simulate natural light.

5. Balance colors - certain colors go better in certain corners of your room.

6. Same goes for materials! Consult the bagua above to find out where to put wood and metal pieces.

Day 3 of LFW was the perfect way to end the weekend. From the Belstaff presentation with Liv Tyler, to backstage access at Fei Fei Cicada at the V&A, it was truly a sartorial dream.

10.30 am - 12.30 pm: Roberts Wood time! Charlotte from team Shopcade said it was her favourite show thus far because the erie music and white runway really made the clothes stand out, which were inspired by 19th century working class clothing. The clothes transformed throughout the show to reflect the changes in social class, and the pieces became more feminine with ruffled details.

11:30 am: Charlotte from the content teams makes her way to the Apu Jan show. "The show started with a photographer screaming at a front row guest to move her leg with 'enormous heels' from the catwalk. Apu Jan's 'An Ancient Summer Night's Dream' was everything you'd expect from the designer: flowy dresses, feminine prints, and a mixture of conventional and not so conventional shapes. One word to describe the collection would be delicacy. The models were supported by a live duet mixing Slow Shudders vocals with a flute and electronic mix".

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Charlotte from our team heads on over to The Felicities x Mastered Exclusive LFW Experience."It took place in the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn, which is a great space, plus it was amazing to see a smaller designers showcase their work" The stand out for her was Linnie Mclarty and her jewellery which aimed to empower women rather than make them look pretty.

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm: I'm off to the Phoebe English presentation at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. The venue is a beautiful town house, which is why it was such a shame that the atmosphere felt rushed. We waited for 15 minuets, which for a presentation isn't very common, and then once we entered the building we were rushed through the room, meaning that it was hard to take in the beautiful creations. The Phoebe English designs were minimal, structural and very on trend- just next time it would be nice to see them for more than a few minuets!

5:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Belstaff Across The Wilderness + Belstaff and Liv Tyler presentation begins, and our team spot a number of famous faces- Olivia Palermo, Mollie King and Liv Tyler. The rustic decor, with hay and wild flowers contrasted perfectly with the modern pieces, but felt cohesive due to the earthy palette used.

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: The show I've been looking forward to all day is here - Fei Fei Cicada at the V&A. I arrive early to head backstage, where the dresses are hanging on mannequins as the models get touch ups done, and press review the pieces. The designer is very hands on, I even spot her helping to dress a model at one point. We then head on through to the catwalk, and the setting is beautiful- right in the middle of the V&A entrance, all marble and plush interiors. The show itself is magical, the models walk in a regal and slow manner, which suits the pieces perfectly- the dresses wouldn't seem out of place in an exhibition here. Once the show ends, the designer leads us through to a separate room where the models stand (amongst artefacts) and the guests can view the designs from close up. We leave in awe, and in disbelief that this is the first collection post her graduate one.

7:30 pm - 8:00 pm: Whilst we're at Fei Fei Cicada, Shopcade's Salome heads over to the Malan Breton show. The show was majestic, with rich fabrics and attention to detail, what made it so special was that the menswear pieces which were as focal as the womenswear. Salome spoke to the designer after the show, the designer said that the inspiration for the collection was "new beginnings and a light sensibility of possibility", Malan Breton expanded stating that the "women wearing my collection come from all walks of life, from Ariana Grande to business women in New York".

AW marks a shift in interiors, the once vibrant, sheer and minimal pieces become less prominent, in favour of home decor that induces feelings of comfort and warmth. Reds, sheepskin, festive scents and glowing lights all help create an atmosphere we crave in autumn and winter- homeliness!

When the weather gets colder all we want to do is stay indoors and wrap ourselves in cosy fabrics, can't you just see it now- lying on a sheepskin rug, in front of a fire with a hot chocolate. See, AW isn't all bad!

Short of spending each night before bed scouring the Tinder Nightmares Instagram feed for giggles, you have to admit, sealing the deal with Mr. Maybe requires careful thought and planning - especially in the home department!

You've nabbed a date, had a vaguely good time and now, you're ready to take the cookie lid off of the jar (to see what he's got going on down THERE, obviously). The hours prior to his arrival are CRITICAL.

Shop below for handsome homeware to get your home Tinder ready.

Not helpful enough? Here's a few tips for each of the three most important rooms your date will [hopefully] see...

The bedroom: We're not saying you should start the date here - but it's certainly important that preparations for the big night begin in THIS ROOM, given that it takes so much effing time. Just remember, home fragrances go a long way in the bedroom and a bed littered with cuddly toys is an absolute no-no. After all, you're not little girl anymore.

The dining area: If we were to be really honest, most of the seduction process takes place here. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach and if he doesn't like what you've fed him, it may be a deal-breaker...for him, that is.

The living room: No bridal magazines, framed pictures of you and your ex-boyfriend and empty crisp packets in sight. Okay?

Deck out your pad in luxury for less $! Whether you're re-doing your decor entirely, or just nabbing a good piece or two to freshen it up, now is the right time. Thanks to some killer deals, beautiful home goods are super affordable!

To change the mood dramatically, we suggest one of the following statement pieces: a new mirror makes your space look bigger, while a rug can change the whole color scheme. Lamps are another good dramatic change, because of their style AND the new light!
