Dakota Johnson belongs to Hollywood royalty but made her own name, starring in Fifty Shades of Grey and later becoming a Gucci muse. Now the actress is set to star in the much-anticipated adaptation of the horror film Suspiria.

She'll be heading up the cast of the 1977 classic alongside Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia Goth and an unrecognizable Tilda Swinton. The Fifty Shades of Grey star is known for her role choices as well as her understated style.

For red carpet she opts for long silhouettes, like the white Proenza Schouler number she rocked at a screening of Call Me By Your Name, in New York. Usually you'll find her in Gucci, whether it's the Met Gala, Fashion Week or the Oscars, where she donned a show-stopping gold gown…

For her off-duty looks you'll find her sporting a simple pair of denim cut-offs with a plain shirt, or slogan tee,  a fedora hat, sunnies and an indie scarf. Her hack for remaining chic at all times is adding designer accessories such as an oversized Gucci tote, a velvet duster coat and Gucci brogues.

Any fashionista worth her salt will know the name Emily Blunt, but did you know? The actress made her stage debut back in 2001, five years before she appeared on our screens as Miranda Priestly's assistant in The Devil Wears Prada alongside Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Emily Blunt's latest endeavour features her in the leading role in unsettling thriller A Quiet Place scripted by hubby and fellow actor John Krasinski. The film is a crossover between your typical bloodthirsty horror and a take on the fears of modern parenthood.

Emily Blunt's powerful performance gave us chills and has since been added to a long list of standout roles including appearances in Hollywood hits such as the Edge of TomorrowSicario, and Young Victoria. It seemed like all anyone could talk about was Paula Hawking's psychological thriller Girl on the Train in which Emily played Rachel Watson, and now the name of everyone’s lips is Mary Poppins – tipped to be the most exciting reboot of 2018.

As an actress that made a name starring in one of the most popular fashion flicks of all time, it comes as no surprise that we’re fascinated by her unique fashion sense. She's one to make a statement on the red carpet, by employing her sartorial savviness and opting to work with a wide range of designers.

From choosing international names like Prada, Dior, Michael Kors and Elie Saab to rocking statement garments by British designers like Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, and the late Alexander McQueen.

To emulate her evening look, opt for a long figure-hugging frock in a bold hue like crimson red or a metallic shade for full-on vintage flair. Complete your look with a pair of strappy heels, a sparkly clutch and a statement ring.

For daywear, adopt Emily's practical approach by pairing your black trousers with a simple pussy bow blouse and throwing on a tailored blazer. Add a pair of neutral pumps and statement jewellery to infuse your look with a touch of character.

Alessandro Michele's show last week was a jam-packed show of cyborgs, and odd museum paraphernalia that lingered between style and a futuristic horror film. Gucci AW18 presented a surgeon’s room where models strutted the designs whilst carrying frightening replicas of their own heads, and creepy animals such as snakes, chameleons or baby dragons. However, showgoers took a different approach. They arrived in decidedly more conservative styles influenced by the House's staples: leopard and GG logos.

On Wednesday, the day of the Gucci Fall 2018 runway show, the fashion pack arrived in the newest pieces by Michele. This year it was all about logos and the double G, worn in two-piece suits, or statement hosiery. Logomania, the trend resurfacing from the early naughts, had appeared in many fashion Houses including Loewe and Fendi and the fashion gliteratti of 2018 is more than happy to oblige.

On the other side of the spectrum, the equally scrumptious leopard trend appeared more dynamic than ever. British minimalist Paul Surridge, presented his second collection for Roberto Cavalli on Friday. His muse? Sharon Stone’s character, Catherine Tramell, in Basic Instinct. The end result was a more demure approach on the House’s longstanding affinity for the leopard print that’s ultra glamorous nonetheless. Street style stars went for excess by pairing it in two’s and threes including cosy coats and pencil skirts. They even added velvet items for an extra layer of luxe in deep blue and crimson red.

Try to emulate the quintessential Milanese style by infusing the leopard print and logos. Start by purchasing a classic GG belt and a leopard print jacket paired with jeans and white ankle boots. If you want to try the look head-to-toe, clash your prints or blend different sized leopard prints for maximum effect.

If you have seen Gucci’s latest show I bet you’re wondering the same things as I am! Are human heads the new fashion accessory? In the Fall Winter 2018 show of the renowned brand, the models were carrying heads or baby dragons as accessories. It was definitely a high fashion horror movie! With white floors, walls and led lights, the setting of the show made a notable reference to the TV series Dexter. So the only question is… Should we be scared? #Gucci #fall #winter #show #collection #horror #thriller #Milan #milanfashionweek #fashionweek

As the latest hilarity in recordings of people's reactions to haunted houses, we got a treat this week when Ariana Grande went on Ellen for a special Halloween episode. She and a producer went through an American Horror Story themed haunted house for the show. Poor Ariana didn't last very long - the first person who popped out at her scared her so badly, she fell on the floor!

Adrenaline junkies love to scare themselves, but if you're not one of those people, haunted houses can be hard to suffer through! At least Ariana made it through to the end, albeit with a little shrieking, swearing, and jumping out of her skin. She puts on a good face at the end, telling the producer "That wasn't bad. Somewhere in there is my heart..."

Luckily, Ariana did get to have some lighthearted Halloween fun this year, with current boyfriend Mac Miller. The pair dressed up as a couple of Pokemon: Ariana as the cute fox-like Eevee, and Mac as the classic Pikachu. But her Insta snaps told a different story, with Eevee bloodily eating Pikachu's throat out! The couple costume is adorable, especially on these two, who have been nothing but publicly affectionate since they started dating.

We talked to Satyarth Shaurya Singh, who is an independent filmmaker and the founder of LightsonFilms, a film studio based out of Mumbai that does a monthly screening of independent cinema under the banner of Peepshow @antiSocial. The other half of the duo, Namah Shah is a self taught MUA and a visual artist and has worked on projects like corporate murals, luxury branding and packaging. Together they have worked on an award winning short film and independent music video as well as a few travelogues and a film for Kargil tourism. Their work has really been the highlight of our mornings today.

Shopcade HQ (S): What's the inspiration behind doing a video series for halloween
Satyarth (ST): So me being a film maker/visual artist and Namah also being a visual artist and a make-up enthusiast we really wanted to create some interesting content this Halloween. Around the same time homegrown contacted Namah and we decided to do twisty the clown and the Black dahlia as our looks. We wanted to keep the film also not very make up based but present it like a short story to instigate a thought or a feeling in the viewers mind. And that's exactly what happened.

S: 5 couple inspirations for halloween
ST: Undoubtedly the following:
- Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
- Frankenstein and bride of Frankenstein
- Red Riding Hood and the Wolf
- Vampire & its prey
- Mr White & Jesse Pinkman

S: if Namah was a witch, her heart would be ...
ST: ...in a perspicuous object like a crystal

S: Which is the horror movie/ character that still gives you the chills every time you watch it?
ST: Emily Rose from Exorcism of Emily Rose
Namah: Lady from the Mirror in "Mirrors"

S: DIY costume that satyarth can easily pull out out of his wardrobe.
Namah: Vampire; he wears a lot of black. Black pants with a black T-shirt and hoodie (from his closet) maybe some hair products, fangs and blood (from mine)

Halloween is nearly here, so join us as we pick the top 6 songs you need to have on your playlist for the year's spookiest evening...

1. Thriller: Michael Jackson- Over 30 years old and still the best music video out there by a long way thanks to its killer concept, catchy tune oh and Michael's signature moves.

2. Everybody: The Backstreet Boys- We're so glad these guys are back in business (performing at the H&M x Balmain party FYI) because they were our fave band of the 90s. This song is a party classic- who doesn't know all the dance moves?

3. Timewarp: The Rocky Horror Picture Show- Completely bonkers, this film has a loyal cult following who embrace dressing up like Dr. Frank-N-Furter and co. every Halloween. Timewarp is one of those songs you sing and dance to when you're really drunk and think you look amazing. (Spoiler- you don't).

4. I Put A Spell On You: Screamin' Jay Hawkins- There has been many versions over the years, but this sharp, spooky version is by far the best. Special mention to Winifred Sanderson's impromptu version in Hocus Pocus, however- legendary.

5. Heads Will Roll: Yeah Yeah Yeahs- OK so not traditionally spooky, but there's something about heads rolling and the slick electro beat that will have you bopping away this Halloween.

6. This is Halloween: The Nightmare Before Christmas- A film with an incredible soundtrack to match? A rare find indeed. Danny Elfman's brilliant score will have you hooked from start to finish.

Watch the brand-new trailer here! Fans of The Walking Dead were shocked and horrified at the end of the last season, when the finale showed Negan killing another character with a baseball bat - but, major cliffhanger, the finale didn't show who his victim was!

Fans have been waiting in agony since April, UNTIL this week, when the trailer for Season 7 aired!

While the trailer still didn't reveal Negan's victim, it did drop some major hints! We have scoured the trailer, and come up with a few theories:

1. Daryl. It did show his discarded shirt on the ground with all the mystery blood and guts!

2. Glenn. Negan kills Glenn in the comic book version...is the show going to follow the same path?

3. Maggie. Oh boy, I hope not, BUT it seems likely. Did you catch the hint in the trailer? A ring was also lying in the wreckage- possibly Maggie's engagement ring?!

We can hardly wait until October 23rd, the premiere of Season 7 on AMC! If you haven't already been glued to the horror-drama, do yourself a favor and start catching up on previous seasons ASAP! It's the most popular zombie show of all time for a reason. Trust us, you won't want to miss this season!

After a long five-year relationship, Lady Gaga and actor Taylor Kinney broke up in July. After the breakup, many fans thought they were going to get back together, especially when Lady Gaga tweeted: “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other."

BUT now, although she has not been making any new music lately, Gaga's come out of the shadows to release a bitter single about her recent breakup! In "Perfect Illusion," the pop star repeats "It wasn't love, it wasn't love, it was a perfect illusion". Ouch! After five years and an engagement together, we can't imagine how Taylor felt when he heard the song. If she keeps this up, Gaga's going to give Tay Swift a run for her money when it comes to the public humiliation of exes!

While she's been on her music hiatus, Lady Gaga has also appeared on the fifth season of American Horror Story: Hotel, and confirmed that she's on board for the sixth. Fans of American Horror Story are psyched for the season premiere, September 14th. There's not a lot of known information about it - the show's creators are trying to keep the actors and plots a secret - but if it's anything like the last seasons, it will be weird and terrifying! Don't worry if you haven't seen any other seasons, because each new season is a new story with a new cast, so you can pick up anywhere.

Listen to the audio of 'Perfect Illusion' above, and let us know what you think. Throwing shade or no? Plus watch the video for "You & I" where the couple first met...

For us, the biggest dilemma after the weekend is not Monday morning blues, but the horror of having to wear pants again!

Believe it on not, after a soulful and quiet Sunday where big, long t-shits serve as comfort clothes, having to wake up again the next day and wearing pants can seem like a draaaag.

But that's exactly why palazzo pants exist, amirite? Here are a few reasons for us to absolutely love them to death.

Reason #1: We don't have to worry about shaving our legs ever so often!

Reason #2: On a hot summer day, it's OK for us to run out of dresses!

Reason #3: They look the best with kurtas or crop tops!

Reason #4: Comfortable AF!!

Reason #5: They work in both formal and informal setups hence we can wear them to work and immediately to a night out the same day!

We know you love palazzo's too! After all, who doesn't? We have curated a list of our fave easy-peasy pants so you can make them yours too!
