Last season was all about flat mules so guess what this season is about? Yes! Heeled mules! Fashion is not quite ready to give up mules so this season its just adding more height. This Spring Summer favourite is styled best with boyfriend jeans. Add some change to your wardrobe with these heeled mules. Perfect literally for any occasion you can take these kicks to a brunch and later to a date. Its right in the middle, not a night heel yet not a day mule! #mules #heels #summer #spring #footwear #shoes #summer #trend #fashion #style #streetstyle

Flashback to the ‘90s yet again. Who can forget the velvet track suits everyone wore. Yes, the Juicy Couture ones… Well, I don’t know about you but I found this style quite cheesy. This trend is right back in our trend list for 2018, which is giving me the jitters. I guess we’ll be seeing the velvet tracksuit and candy handbag combo again in 2018… #tracksuit #trend #streetstyle #fashion #style #juicycouture

As we go into spring I guess it's no surprise that our make up inspo is becoming as dewy as the grass beneath our feet. Since moving to London my skin has been battling the harsh city air so I've been trying to give it a bit more love. I recently bought some Glossier products - Milky Jelly Cleanser, Balm Dotcom and the Priming Mosturizer. I have very quickly fallen in love with all three products and my skin is looking clearer than it has for months. It just so happens that my buying this skincare set has coincided with the glossy skin make up look. Make up artists have been laying down the heavy products and reaching for primers, strobes and glowing moisturisers. This is the perfect look as we start to head towards summer when a light base is always better. It's also a look that your skin will thank you for. Image: Indigital

Finding the right fragrance is hard. I guess it’s because we wanna that fragrance to represent us, to tell something about ourselves. This from Chanel is one of my favorites. What about yours? #chanel

MFW street style look number three, well it is me after all so there was bound to be some leopard print. I'm usually not a cardigan person at all. Practically yes they're great and keeping you warm but style-wise no I don't want to throw something on top of my perfectly curated outfit. That's what I thought at least until I saw this knitted two piece. I guess this is an alternative to a skirt suit. It's neat and chic and well, leopard print. Honestly what is not to love? Prada has hit the runway and what a show it was. A standout for me has to be this sheer look. Sheer has been all over not only the runways but the tabloids too, for the past few years. It has been a claimed celebrity favourite from Beyoncé's Met Gala gown - you know the one - to Kim Kardashian's, well most of Kim K's wardrobe. I guess it should be no surprise that sheer is still a coveted trend but Prada have changed the trend for me. Over a cute pink number and embellished in floral, this makes sheer more chic than ever. Lyst just released the most popular brands of 2017! Think of the brand that made fashion news every single day of 2017. Yes, it’s Gucci! Gucci was the most searched brand in Google too… Consumers searched Gucci more than the regular terms ‘shoes’ and ‘skirts’. Next being another popular brand, Balenciaga, the the list was filled with streetwear brands and styles. Can you guess a pattern here? As nineties hip-hop streetwear is making a comeback, the brands with this style are becoming more and more popular! #gucci #brand #luxurybrand #mostpopular #popular #trend #streetwear #streetstyle #style #hiphop #nineties

Guess what I scouted in a vintage boutique? It’s such a great thing to give new life to old branded things. Are you a vintage lover too? #vintage #louisvuitton

We’ve found a novel way to be two or even three faced this season via instagram: face earrings. Jewellers are moulding metals into graphic outlines of le visage, with or without features and stones, that dangle from the ear and pop against a background of hair in really lovely ways. It’s the next phase of statement earrings that Mango, and the #mangogirls by default, have taken up with gusto, as the arty accent feels progressive and sophisticated. Those with a designer budget can look to Celine and J.W.Anderson for more conceptual pairs that’ll be a little less ubiquitous. The latter’s blue pair, done in collaboration with the now default Style.com a few seasons ago, was spotted on Yasmin Sewell, Pandora Sykes and many a editor/streetstyle star.

We guess they’re popping up again now, mostly in gold, as an interesting alternative to the gold hoop. You can choose your art movement: cubism, surrealism, abstract etc and find a pair in line to add to your jewellery box. They’re the tasteful twist that makes any daytime outfit worthy of a second look or compliment and after dark they’ll steal the spotlight. Don’t shy away from coloured styles, as they’ll only increase the impact without compromising timelessness, or wearing them one at a time to stand out in a crowd of face earring wearers.

Find styling inspiration in the gallery above then shop your favourite pair(s) in our edit below.

This week, our Influencer Focus is dedicated to Sandra Diola. If there's anything new to know about beauty, the South Floridian based model features it on her Instagram account. Whether it's a lip tint, enriching hair products or highlighters, you can find them on @sandradrifter. Her understated wardrobe, an enviable mix of playful designers like Ganni from YOOX, pieces from Urban Outfitters and streamlined items by COS, is another reason why we scroll through her feed religiously. We caught up with the busy influencer and aspiring graphic designer to talk style, wellness essentials and designing her boyfriend's album cover.

What compelled you to start your own Instagram account?

I’m from the Philippines, so after moving to Florida, I started my Instagram account because I wanted to be more connected and present. Which is funny, actually, because we end up not being as present with social media.

What do you enjoy most about the creative process?

I enjoy changes in direction and having to invent something new. There’s this feeling of happiness in the middle of a shoot when I know I'm in the zone creatively. It makes me feel even more excited to see the outcome.

What are the challenges and also the benefits of being an influencer?

I guess the challenge would probably be staying true to myself. This means working with brands that align with my ethos, the ones I truly love and want to promote, especially the smaller ones. I guess the benefits would be allowing these smaller brands to be more visible and having the platform to talk about real things that matter to me. Issues that transcend the beautifully styled imagery.

What are your non-negotiables regarding your wellness routine?

MOISTURISING. That’s non-negotiable.

How would you describe your personal style? Do you have any favourite brands?

My style is very easy going. I enjoy wearing colourful outfits that convey elements of nostalgia, which why I love shopping vintage. Some of my favourite designers are Cos, Orseund Iris, and I recently have fallen in love with Ganni from YOOX. I also adore Albisia for jewellery. It's a small brand from my hometown that makes styles by hand.

Which are your staples when it comes to dressing up in the morning?

I'm used to being out all day studying or running to castings and meetings, so I always bring a sweater or cardigan for all-day, for maximum cosiness. Plus, it adds that hygge element to my outfit.

You're always travelling. Which one of your recent destinations was the most memorable to you and why?

I think my most memorable destination will forever be Cuba. The city's architecture, the colours and sceneries were reminiscent of another era. I'll never forget it.
What are you working on at the moment? What are your plans this year?

Apart from growing my work on my platform and modelling, I'm doing graphic design. I’m aiming to make album covers for my boyfriend's music project ‘Pleasure Wars’, finish my book and indulge in more self-care when I find the time.

Off-White was a winner of collaborations this year. From Nike to Jimmy Choo, Virgil Abloh was unstoppable. For 2018, the popular brand has collaborated with Timberland for a new boot collection. Although the boots will come out in March, Bella Hadid was seen wearing them last week in an outing in New York. The boots are almost the same as the original Timberland boots, but the Off-White design aesthetic is unmissable. The orange, green and camel options will bring a new twist to the standard Timberland boots. I guess we’ll still be wearing boots in March thanks to Off-White and Timberland! #timberland #offwhite #virgilabloh #boots #shoecollection #collaboration #trend #winter #style #bellahadid
