La grande terrasse couverte au rez-de-chaussée est the place to be.

Dover Streer Market :

The Ned :

The Curtain :

Don’t forget about yourself when you’re spreading the love this Valentine’s Day. Pat yourself on the back for sourcing great gifts for loved ones, then go one better by picking something extra special from KIMSU for yourself. You’re worth it and for the uninitiated, this rising, Berlin based jewellery brand specialises in the kind of sophisticated and environmentally respectable styles that are catching the eye of industry insiders. Think abstract geometric forms in recycled silver and an exclusive shade of gold that are handcrafted into the kind of earrings, necklaces and rings that will make any outfit compliment-worthy. Not to mention the dynamic architectural air they exude, and the fact that founders Sue Woo Kim and Roberto Bertinetti have specifically designed these pieces to empower the wearer by imitating strong symbols of strength.

Whether you like your jewellery clean and simple or accented with premium gemstones, there’s a perfect style for you. Your search for impactful everyday earrings is over thanks to the Triangolo studs. Available in silver and blue or gold and green colourways with matching necklaces, you can rotate them to show off the triangle’s different orientations and be sure to tuck your hair behind your ears so they can be admired. Indulge your penchant for minimal rings, if you have one, because there are on-point single and double finger options. And if you’re after something show-stopping for after dark, try the Scala Drop Earrings or Pendant for a progressive take on modern glamour.

Discover the debut collection highlights in the gallery above then shop your favourite(s) in the edit below.

The lust for velvet continues to capture our imagination with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid sporting the trend that has pervaded the wardrobes of trendsetters and celebrities proving to be a red-carpet staple for Winter months - especially during Award season. From Amy Adams and Rita Ora in a lavish Tom Ford, Lady Gaga and Lily Donaldson in pure black and Nicole Kidman in a plunging velvet Armani Privé dress at this year’s BAFTAs.

Here’s why we’re still craving for that velvet touch.

Velvet massively took off in 2017 and is still going strong this season. This time the look is more elevated - less studio 54 and more uptown-chic. Think tailored suits, swinging dresses and grandiose skirts courtesy of Prada, Koche and Erdem.

You can go completely head to toe in sumptuous rolls of velvet, or select some velvet accessories for a touch of glamour: From quilted cross body bags to velvet embellished platforms, block heels and slingback shoes available both from designers like Prada and Rochas but also more affordable retailers like ASOS and Forever 21.

Velvet’s main characteristics are that elaborate look due to its complex and luxurious texture. However some hues on velvet can have an undesirable effect. When it comes to colour palette opt for shades of burgundy, teal, mustard, and crimson that dominate the Winter 2018 season.

Be the first to sport the velvet trend by selecting your favourite items from our exclusive edit below!

Red lips on Valentine’s day seems like the perfect beauty tradition. Not only can you leave cute kiss marks everywhere from your lover’s face to a note and on the mirror; they’re also bold and self-empowering. Slick on your most flattering shade (you might need professional help to find it), and your eyes are brighter, your smile wider and your pout is all the more enticing. It’s no coincidence that some of the biggest bombshells like Marilyn Monroe and cartoon Jessica Rabbit have made red lipstick their signature. And even though red is the tried-and tested colour of seduction, often used to uplift a LBD for unprecedented glamour after dark, it has plenty of daytime mileage with denim and neutrals as well.

But you can’t deny how high maintenance red lips are. And not really suitable for actual kissing either because one unintentional facial smudge or teeth smear kills the magic. There’s a lot of prep involved too: lips need to be exfoliated, then outlined and contoured before filling in (Kylie Jenner popularised over-lining: where you draw beyond your lip line to create the illusion of fuller lips). Matte, gloss or stain is the key question and determines the impact. Matte is dramatic but gloss will catch the light more and a stain is the most natural of the bunch with just a hint of colour. Keep last season’s just-kissed lipstick trend in mind as well because the slightly smudged application is gorgeous and adds an air of nonchalance.

As Meghan Markle stepped out with her future prince to their first official black-tie evening engagement she opted to dress in a suit. Markle was photographed arriving at the Endeavour Fund Awards last night in black trousers and a tuxedo shirt by designer Alexander McQueen. She ignored the protocol with that sartorial choice, but she is not the only one to fall under the suit's allure.

From Stella McCartney to Victoria Beckham the suiting trend was already cemented last season. Inspired by power women especially Hillary Rodham Clinton the pantsuit has made a serious comeback which is now more evident than ever. Cate Blanchett, Diane Keaton and Chloe Sevigny are among the stars donning the power suit on a regular basis. But they aren't alone.

Top models, fashion editors, street stylers and influencers are heralding this international uniform. We absolutely love how this suit trend can be translated into many variations. From checks to black sleek suits on Helena Christensen and Candice Swanepoel to the ultimate classic Annie Hall on Diane Keaton and her major influence on the Ralph Lauren brand.

Want to adopt the pantsuit look this winter? Browse through our exclusive suit edit below!

Gatsby never gets old. The further we move away from the cocktails dripping in diamonds and outfits equally dressed so the more we pine for the hedonist days. Ellie Saab spilled the decade out onto the runway in her recent collection. Delicate dresses sparkling and sheer. This look may be a personal highlight, the feathery trim making it all the more decadent. A glamour that will never go out of style. Image: Vogue.co.uk

I think one of the best ways to wear a red lip, is with a little cat eye. it's just such a classic and chic makeup look, even for daytime. it would look as if you belong to some kind of old 50's glamour even if you are just taking the bus on your way to work.
