Would’ve you guessed that kebabs will be the next trend in fashion? No? Well, recently Diesel has wowed us with a new collaboration. As a Turkish gal, this has made me super duper proud! It’s actually funny how our iconic meal has become a trend amongst millennials. Diesel has teamed up with Berlin’s most famous street food stall Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebab! The two brands have created a capsule collection full of tshirts, caps and hoodies! Yay kebabs yay Mustafa yay Diesel! #turkish #turkey #kebab #diesel #trend #fashion #streetstyle #style

Okay… So, this trend has kind of a controversy with people who actually suffer from migraines… But still how funny is it that celebs and bloggers are actually trying to look like they have a headache. The latest Instagram pose trend is posing like you have a headache. This pose actually lifts your face and eyebrows which eventually gives a smoother skin in the photos. I don’t know about you but I never thought of migraines being a trend! #migraines #trend #instagram #pose #fashion #celebrity #style #streetstyle

Fanny packs, belt bags… They’re all super popular right now and Nike is using this fanny pack craziness. The sports brand just released a fanny pack slide. This slippers have a small zippered pouch along the strap for anything you need. Maybe squeeze in your spare chains in? Or a little chocolate? What you want at your convenience! #fannypack #beltbag #style #streetstyle #nike

How do you like these cuties? Do you have some feather skirts? Will you get one? What do you think about these clothes? In my opinion these are so funny, but feminine and elegant too. I think people doesn't like weird things and this factor is the same in the fashion as well. Don't worry about the other's opinion, because these skirts are so stylish and it can be one of the popular clothes for this year. The parties and weddings are coming, so be brave to wear them with high heels.

Who didn’t try to copy the scene from the movie with their girlfriends… And now, the most exciting news is going to make ABBA fans go crazy. The group is reuniting after 35 years and releasing 2 new songs! Also going on a virtual tour, the group is releasing their new song ‘I Still Have Faith In You’ in December 2019! #abba #mammamia #dancingqueen #group #music #reuniting

A friend of mine used to call me Maria shiny shoes. And after this funny nickname, I have realized that all of the shoes that I own have something in common: a sparkly or metallic detail on the design.  So with that being said, this pair could take a place in my collection without any trouble.  photo credit: @coveteur on twitter  #shoes #fashion #sparkly

What a creative and hilarious campaign.  When you look this image, you would think that you immediately will get distracted by the funny makeup, but instead, it acts like a magnet that attracts all the attention to the center of the face aka the gorgeous cat eye sunglasses.  Love this idea! photo credit: @manrepeller on twitter  #fashion #sunglasses #look #trend

If the thought of piling on gives you an uneasy stomach, fear not. The art of layering has never looked better. Although it's an American tic, think the Olsen twins during the mid -noughties, being enclosed in layers of bohemian fabric and oversized coatigans, the Parisians have employed it with effortless ease too. Experimental layering is a dominant issue on the fashion agenda, especially when deciding on what to wear in chilly weather.

Take Paris Fashion Week for example. Fashion editors from across the globe (not only from the US) showcased their unique vision to nailing the layering craft. We've compiled a few of the best piling-on tricks we discovered on the streets of Paris you can try now.

TONAL

Try the tonal approach by opting for slightly differentiated hues of the same colour and wear it from head-to-toe. Throw in an unexpected colour like white or coral to juxtapose to the monochrome look.

ADD A ROLLNECK

Rollnecks have many charms being one of the best options for workwear and smart casual alike. Just take cues from Audrey Hepburn's fail-proof styling in 1957's Funny Face for more inspiration.  With your key item in place strategically create the rest of your outfit.

GO FOR COATIGAN

A knitted coatigan is your best bet when layering. Just throw it over some of the season's natural fabrics like linen, cotton and hemp and style it with bold and chunky accessories.

ADD SOME LEATHER

Layering offers a great opportunity to experiment with texture. Don't be afraid to wear your leather jacket under your main coat or trench in a samey colour.

DON'T FORGET THE PUFFER

Now might be the best time to invest in a slim quality puffer jacket. Wear it in the same colour just under your coat or trench. To avoid the same shade from top to bottom add a pop of colour in your accessories like a tangerine bag or mules.

This week, our Influencer Focus is dedicated to Sandra Diola. If there's anything new to know about beauty, the South Floridian based model features it on her Instagram account. Whether it's a lip tint, enriching hair products or highlighters, you can find them on @sandradrifter. Her understated wardrobe, an enviable mix of playful designers like Ganni from YOOX, pieces from Urban Outfitters and streamlined items by COS, is another reason why we scroll through her feed religiously. We caught up with the busy influencer and aspiring graphic designer to talk style, wellness essentials and designing her boyfriend's album cover.

What compelled you to start your own Instagram account?

I’m from the Philippines, so after moving to Florida, I started my Instagram account because I wanted to be more connected and present. Which is funny, actually, because we end up not being as present with social media.

What do you enjoy most about the creative process?

I enjoy changes in direction and having to invent something new. There’s this feeling of happiness in the middle of a shoot when I know I'm in the zone creatively. It makes me feel even more excited to see the outcome.

What are the challenges and also the benefits of being an influencer?

I guess the challenge would probably be staying true to myself. This means working with brands that align with my ethos, the ones I truly love and want to promote, especially the smaller ones. I guess the benefits would be allowing these smaller brands to be more visible and having the platform to talk about real things that matter to me. Issues that transcend the beautifully styled imagery.

What are your non-negotiables regarding your wellness routine?

MOISTURISING. That’s non-negotiable.

How would you describe your personal style? Do you have any favourite brands?

My style is very easy going. I enjoy wearing colourful outfits that convey elements of nostalgia, which why I love shopping vintage. Some of my favourite designers are Cos, Orseund Iris, and I recently have fallen in love with Ganni from YOOX. I also adore Albisia for jewellery. It's a small brand from my hometown that makes styles by hand.

Which are your staples when it comes to dressing up in the morning?

I'm used to being out all day studying or running to castings and meetings, so I always bring a sweater or cardigan for all-day, for maximum cosiness. Plus, it adds that hygge element to my outfit.

You're always travelling. Which one of your recent destinations was the most memorable to you and why?

I think my most memorable destination will forever be Cuba. The city's architecture, the colours and sceneries were reminiscent of another era. I'll never forget it.
What are you working on at the moment? What are your plans this year?

Apart from growing my work on my platform and modelling, I'm doing graphic design. I’m aiming to make album covers for my boyfriend's music project ‘Pleasure Wars’, finish my book and indulge in more self-care when I find the time.
