The S/S '17 shows wrapped up way back in September/October 2016, so we all need a little refresher of the hottest trends set down by the fashion gods for this season!

We've got the top 10 cutest and most wearable trends right here for you!

Metallic Fabrics
We're absolutely loving the futuristic, uber-cool trend of metallic fabrics that was all over the S/S '17 runways. Pair a metallic silver/gold skirt with a basic white button-down, a glitzy gold top with black skinny pants, or go the whole hog with a metallic dress—the world's your shiny oyster!

Tie-dye
There's nothing like a little throwback to help us fall in love with a fashion trend, so we naturally love this trend that reminds us of our craft classes back in school. If you're a fan of fun, colourful prints, this one is right up your alley.

Ruffles
Ruffles have been in and out of vogue for the past few seasons, and looks like they're planning to continue popping up every now and then! And we aren't complaining, because ruffles are super versatile. You can go super girly and cute with a ruffle-y dress, or office chic with a high-necked ruffle shirt and a pencil skirt.

Pink all over
Whether it's a dusty mauve, a fiery fuchsia, or a pleasant mid-tone pink, it's all on trend right now! Combine various shades of the same family of pink to put together the perfect pink ensemble from top to toe, and channel your inner girly girl.

Boxy/Boyfriend Shirts
Buh-bye, slim silhouettes—it's time to make room for the androgynous boxy boyfriend shirt. This shirt is perfect for casual outfits where you want to look cute without spending too much time wondering what to wear. Simply pair with a high-waisted pair of skinny jeans and some cool, basic sneakers to complete the look.

Zebra print
For those of you who love monochromatic prints, the zebra print is a good option this season for when you're feeling extra sexy. Wear a zebra print dress, or pair one zebra print piece with a plain white piece.

Gingham
It's time to go back to your school days with some classic gingham! This elegant yet cute print is perfect for office wear when you're bored of the basic neutral pieces.

Emojis
Who says that fashion trends stop at clothing and accessories? We believe in extending them to our decor too! Channel the S/S '17 emoji trend by funking up your house with a few emoji cushions.

Denim dresses
Last season, it was denim shirts. This season, they've switched it up to denim dresses! We absolutely love this trend for the simple reason that it's such a quick, no-brainer outfit to put on. No need to fuss with finding matching tops and bottoms that look trendy—just pop on a denim dress, throw on a pair of white sneakers, and you're good to go.

Kitten heels
Another trend that's great for you if you wear formals to office! Most women prefer wearing heels rather than flats, because they add a touch of glam to the outfit. But let's get real—it simply isn't practical or appealing to wear stilettos from 9 to 5! Here's where kitten heels save the day. They're cute as heck, but won't leave you craving a foot massage.

It’s no secret that Zoe Kravitz’s favourite fashion designer is Alexander Wang.

The pair have been best friends for a very long time and Wang’s label has become Zoe’s go-to anytime she has a formal occasion.

As a general rule, Zoe Kravitz has a very laid-back style, she’ll wear a vintage t-shirt and trainers over a dress with heels any day. Her mantra is cool and comfortable and she’s even admitted to doing things like cutting a hole in her heels because they were too small… But with her growing influence, she is having more and more formal events and almost exclusively opts for Alexander Wang pieces for them. The label plays with dark colours and has a very grunge-cool aesthetic, matching Zoe’s look perfectly.

So scroll down to shop the brand’s latest collection if you’re looking for edgy pieces to channel your inner Zoe Kravitz.

The sun is finally coming out, and that only means one thing: it’s time to buy a new pair of sunglasses.

This season, it’s all about the tinted shades. Pink and yellow are the most common colours, but you can go for orange or purple if you’re feeling bold. It’s the ultimate accessory that adds an edge to any outfit!

The trend has recently been spotted among all our favourite celebs, from models like Bella Hadid and Suki Waterhouse, to fashion bloggers like Caroline Daur and even celebrities like Selena Gomez.

So don’t waste any time and scroll down to shop your favourite pair!

This season, it’s time to invest in some real trainers.

Shoes that we once thought of as purely sport-related or only worn by people with zero fashion sense have now been spotted on all the most fashionable style icons, and we’re loving it.

Many trends require some kind of commitment, like accepting to get blisters with stiletto heels or feeling suffocated when wearing a bustier, but when it comes to comfort, trainers are a no brainer.

Whether you’re going for a laid back look or something a little more sophisticated, the right pair of trainers will take your outfit to the next level. In fact, if you think your outfit is over-the-top, trainers are the ultimate dress down. They’re the perfect way of staying fashion-forward look but showing you don’t take yourself too seriously.

And don’t forget, the sportier the trainers, the edgier you’ll look. So don’t be scared, a pair of vintage reeboks or airmax 95 are definitely the way to go!

Designer Tory Burch recently released a video of Poppy Delevigne and two other models dancing to Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall’s “Juju on That Beat”.

The move caused controversy and Tory Burch was immediately accused of cultural appropriation. Critics found it shocking that the clip used a song by two black artists without featuring any models of colour. Others however, found nothing wrong with it (aside from the awkward dancing, of course).

This isn’t the first time the fashion industry is accused of cultural appropriation. Many similar episodes have been seen, like Marc Jacob sending white models wearing faux wool dreadlocks down the runway or Karlie Kloss dressing like a Japanese Geisha for a shoot.

Nevertheless, Tory Burch did not contest the accusations. She took the video down and immediately apologised, saying:The video was intended to celebrate music that we love with our spring collection. It was never meant to be insensitive in any way. I personally feel badly if this hurt anyone, and I'm truly sorry”.

We’ve all dreamed of having a perfect Instagram feed with thousands of followers, but realising that today Instagram can quite literally be a full-time job, many of us have given up.

Luckily, we have a few simple tips that will instantly make your feed look amazing.

Choose a theme
Sticking to a theme is very important to make your Instagram feed look good. Some of our favourites are the minimalist theme (very bright with a lot of white), sticking to a particular colour, or even having only quotes in the left-hand-side column.

Have a consistent filter
For a neat looking feed, you should stick to a specific filter. We recommend using apps on which you perform the same edit every time and our favourites are vsco, after light, and faded.

Vary your posts
Be creative and play with different angles and subjects to keep your followers interested. No one wants to follow an account that posts only selfies… If you’re looking to switch it up, trying adding a photo of your style icon for example, they usually perform really well!

The ensemble must look good
The key to an aesthetically pleasing feed is making sure your new photo matches the 1st and 3rd photos. For example, if you feel like they are quite detail heavy, the newest photo should be clean and simple to balance it out. A quote, a scenery picture or even a empty coloured photo will do the job!

Keep captions brief
The trick is to have a short caption and to hashtag selectively. Be sure to skip the trending hashtags, adding #girl #cute #tanktop #blog #love #followme is never a good idea. Firstly, those hashtags don’t work, secondly, they’re annoying to everyone and thirdly, they don’t make any sense.

Tag brands
If you post a lot of photos with clothes, be sure to tag the brands. If you’re lucky, they’ll repost your image, and even if they don’t, you’ll still be in their tagged photos section.

Now let the followers roll in...
