It's true that dressing for work everyday especially if you work in the creative industry can be a bore or an extra piece of anxiety you don't need in your everyday life. It's actually why Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs used to wear the same "uniform" outfit every day (so not the same actual clothes but their clones so to speak) so they would have one less decision to worry about. And we know what they're talking about!

There are many times when you can simply get away with a simple trouser and shirt combo, but especially during the winter season, we tend to fall into the 'samey' outfit trap. Sporting the same sweater a few days in a row. Dressing for work shouldn't be difficult if you simply invest in a few key items. For example, you have to own a versatile suit or a few blazers to choose from and wear them with shirts, jumpers, or t-shirts. Then go for a really great pair of trousers coupled with work- sweaters.

If you want to step out the usual blazer and trousers uniform opt for a midi skirt, a pair of corduroy pants or (if your workplace allows it) a funky jumpsuit. If you own the key ingredients it should be fairly easy to mix and match in order to create an elegant outfit Monday to Friday hassle-free.

The orange tones have become a must of beauty this fall-winter. Celebrities such as Selena Gomez or Emily Ratajkowski have used this in their eyelids, the colour of fashion, and the result is just spectacular. Just try it, and you will fall in love with it. Credits: Pinterest

All white is becoming one of the biggest trends of 2018. White tuxedos, all-white outfits and now all-white shoes. White boots were under the spotlight for the Fall Winter season, and now this season white sandals and white heels are the star. It’s just like red heels, yellow shoes, yet it’s white. It’s like black, it goes with everything. So why not opt for a white shoe instead of your regular black one! #white #shoes #heels #streetstyle #style #fashion #trend

The past season jewelry trends have been less ladylike and funkier. Take the mismatched earring trend of last fall or the insect trend of last year - there's nothing securely elegant about it. This season designers are turning back time and are opting for gold primitive tribal jewelry that is very often handmade. Think of silhouettes that are not clearly defined and are rarely the same because they have been crafted by hand. The result is a more precious version of your basic jewellery and is much defined by the 'one of a kind' aesthetic.

Designers Annie Costello Brown and Natasha Schweitzer are well-versed in this technique. Sport a pair of primitive earrings with your athleisure outfit or with a bodycon dress for a night out. Just remember to keep your hair pulled back in a bun and make the earring the main focus. Opt for a gold necklace with a precious blue stone in a primitive shape.

Move over ‘Dry January’, it’s all about Veganuary this year judging by the column inches and social media hashtags. As in going completely animal-free for the whole month and thankfully vegan alcohol isn't hard to find so there’s no need to give up your favourite tipple either. The reported benefits are pretty awesome: kickstarting a healthier lifestyle following an indulgent festive period, reducing the risk of heart disease and diabetes, cutting out cholesterol and lowering your blood pressure according to the website. And there are the animals themselves, of course; if there is less demand for animal products- food and clothes, then their suffering and supply should theoretically decrease. It’s also better for the environment as you’ll reduce your greenhouse gas emissions- released by farmed animals- more than you would by giving up your car if you drive. No wonder people are taking the plunge, especially now there are amazing vegan restaurants and products available- as it won’t necessary cost you any more. Beyonce did it, Made in Chelsea's Lucy Watson is doing it and so can you.

To be honest, though, nothing beats the smell of cooking bacon or the texture and taste of a perfectly cooked steak. No matter how ‘real’ the fake meat is. And if you’re doing this to drop a few pounds, be mindful that you don’t fall into the comfort carb or chocolate trap as sometimes vegetables may not be filling enough. More cooking time may be needed, as well as carrying snacks to keep you on track if you happen to be somewhere that doesn’t have a vegan option. It’s worth doing some nutrition research to ensure you’ll be getting the vitamins and minerals you need in lieu of the ones that occur in animal products. Finally, if you’re are going animal-free then your mindset should probably feed into your wardrobe and makeup bag as well. That means no real leather at all, head to toe. Or wool and fur. When it comes to beauty- mink eyelashes are out or any products containing dairy, honey or beeswax too. Which may mean relegating some of your go-to outfits and products for the month or buying some new ones.

Here are our ready-to-shop vegan food, fashion and beauty edits to get you started if you’re doing it.

I'm in love with this outfit. The mustard long coat with the sweater it's just everything. And the denim jean and the camel boots, work with the outfit in a simpler beautiful way. I know the colour palette screams fall but if you love warm tones, this is such a great option for a winter outfit. Photo Credit: @whowhatwear on Twitter #fashion #AW17 #trend #winter #outfit

Monotone dressing was quite popular this fall and winter. As we’re getting closer and closer to 2018 the streetstyle trends are signalling us that monotone is out and colourblocking is in. Monotone dressing is a way to be bold and it is great to make a statement. Yet, colourblocking is even better since it makes an even bolder statement in dressing. The most popular trend is colourblocking red and pink since it is the best way to show off the trend. The clash of the two colours make your outfit look bold and bright. With this trend you’ll definitely be turning heads. #monotone #monochrome #colourblocking #streetstyle #trend #fashion #spring #summer

We thought it would never come, but finally, we can say that the cold has already settled with us to stay for a few months. Temperatures have dropped noticeably, and it is the perfect time to release feathers. This season will be one of the essential pieces of our wardrobe, not only because they weigh little and are very warm, but because the new models will make you fall in love.Credits : Pinterest

We know that velveteen is one of the star fabrics of this Fall-Winter 2017/2018 and the street shows us again. Either with a total look (suitable only for the most daring) or small scale, this style returns us to childhood immediately. Do you want to travel to the past in a matter of seconds? Here are some ideas on how to do it. Credits: Pinterest

There's never been a more decisive 2017 trend than checks. That mid 80s allure of the powerful businesswoman (thankfully minus the shoulder pads) has met the equally British heritage aesthetic and gave us many amazing fashion moments this fall. For winter we move from the check blazer to the check coat and we assure you you'll spot it anywhere. This time we spotted it on The Duchess of Cambridge.

Yesterday Kate appeared in a lovely belted L.K. Bennett grey checked coat with a hemline hitting just below the knee, with four statement pockets on the front. You can snatch it now from the namesake brand or try any other high end to high street versions from a lush Balenciaga number to sleek versions at Topshop and ASOS.
