Summer is one of the best seasons to show off in broderie detailing. By broderie we of course mean embroidered, lace-trimmed  tops and summer dresses in angelic white and dreamy ivory tones that perfectly complement sun-kissed skin.

Whether you're planning to attend a wedding, a festival, a big summer event or just a casual cookout with friends, you simply can't go wrong with a white embroidered piece..

Taking cues from blogger-extraordinaire and recent mummy Leandra Medine, don a broderie crop top with a pair of gold shorts and white espadrilles. Finish the look with your favorite gold-toned bangles, oversized earrings, black Ray Bans and a bold red lip.

For the ultimate beach to bar look, pair your broderie mini dress with a romantic and basket bag, a pair of espadrille sandals, oversized sunnies and a floppy straw hat. Add a pair of big gold-toned hoops, and a pendant to amp-up your summer ensemble.

If you're planning to attend a festival this summer, opt for a broderie jacket with a crop top and a pair of your favorite wide-leg jeans. Top the look off with a leather cross-body bag and an array of your most colorful accessories.

For a romantic date night try combining a classic broderie top with a sexy red mini skirt. Finish your look with a stiletto heel and your favorite miniature cross-body bag.

How will you style your broderie outfit this summer? Browse our gallery and scroll down for our edit of broderie-inspired pieces for every budget…

It’s no secret that we’re fans of Alexa Chung. The model, writer, IT-girl and now designer is always ahead of the curve when it comes to her style. Her influences are myriad, from punk to Victoriana, and we love the creative references in her own collections too.

Alexa’s latest collection is inspired by Bloomsbury Set – a group of artists and writers – and the wild, eclectic decor at their Sussex country retreat, Charleston House.

Alexa Chung launched her eponymous label ALEXACHUNG this year and was keen to honour her British roots with the new designs. The label combines Parisian chic with a New York edge and a British sense of humour.

We’re head over heels for the dreamy images on the Alexachungstagram feed, shot at Charleston for SS18. The Virginia collection, inspired by Virginia Woolf, features white boho dresses, statement floral prints and illustrated silk scarves and tees in Alexa’s signature quirky style.

Let us start by wishing the Pisces people of the world a happy birthday! Perhaps the most famous and iconic Pisces around right now Rihanna, who has the zodiac symbol tattooed on her neck, turned #dirtythirty this week and commemorated the occasion by releasing limited editions of her best-selling Fenty Beauty highlighter Trophy Wife. And fellow Pisces Justin Beiber will surely celebrate with on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez when his birthday comes around. We’re bringing this up because the qualities dreamy Pisces seem to share are sensitivity, imagination and compassion, according to Susan Miller, which may be worth keeping in mind when picking their birthday gift. This water sign’s symbol is two fish tied together swimming in opposite directions which is why pet fish, anything with a fish motif or water-related may be well appreciated.

There are Pisces cards and so much thematic jewellery to update their jewellery boxes with in whatever shade of gold, stone, style or motif they like best. Charms are cool because they can be attached to styles they already own and the earrings we’ve seen will be great additions to their everyday uniform. And if you really want to spoil them, and you know their shoe size, head to Moda Operandi to pick out an exclusive pair of red soled Christian Louboutin with their initials, date of birth, zodiac symbol and constellation embroidered on the body in metallic thread. For their home, what about a colourful fish print for their wall, a mug for their tea, a fish print laundry basket or even a Pisces pillow?

Shop our top Pisces picks in the edit below.

This year's S/S trends are full of colour. The bold, blocked out coats and lavender... well just about everything is set to be lavender. Balenciaga is known for bold and bright prints and the label's footwear is no exception. The sock boot has been on the scene, and streets, throughout winter and unlike many poor soles it won't be shoved to the back of the wardrobe for summer. Balenciaga here is a perfect example of how the sock boot will transition into summer. Bright, floral (groundbreaking) and chicly stilettoed. Dreamy. Image: Balenciaga

The Critics Choice Awards are just another excuse for us to look at more mesmerising red carpet gowns. This year the award ceremony's red carpet exceed expectations because of its predecessor, the Golden Globes, featuring only black gowns. So you can understand our yearning for colour, patterns and bold silhouettes. And after careful consideration, we have to admit that the CCA did not disappoint!

The stars turned up on the carpet decked in a rainbow of colours and lots of sparkle! For example, Wonder Woman Gal Gadot opted for glitz in a sparkly Prada silver dress, Yara Shahidi and Octavia Spencer went for royal purple, while Mary Elizabeth Winsted from Fargo, opted for a dreamy colourful chiffon dress. Nicole Kidman's pink see-though was an absolute showstopper while Olivia Munn dazzled in a red dress embellished with precious stones.

I moved to London over six months ago now. Alas, the one thing my house is lacking is a bath. Taking a bath when I'm away is now a dreamy treat and one that shouldn't be without a Lush product. I adore the Lush bath bombs. Intergalactic and Twilight are definitely favourites and I love to finish this ritual with Sleepy body lotion. I can't wait to see what products are released this year. Take a quick breather from your Christmas dinner prep to consider what you’re going to wear for the festivities ahead. Because your trusty LBD or go-to posh top and jeans combo isn’t going to cut it here. If you’re re-reading the dress-code fine print on the invite of the Christmas Eve party you RSVPed to ages ago but kind of forgot about, just think easy glamour. Throw-on-and-go pieces that’ll ensure you’re ready in 20 minutes flat. Christmas Day is trickier because it depends on what your family traditions are.

Midnight mass means you may be hotfooting from party to church without any time to change, but it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed in that case. For a daytime service: a dreamy dress or tailored trousers and shirt will carry you elegantly through. If you don’t plan on leaving the house, some charming pyjamas are perfect to relax, eat, open presents and watch TV in. For Christmas lunch or a pub drink, we’d recommend bringing out your (roomy) Christmas jumper again for another wear but teamed with a chic skirt or chino instead to nail smart casual.

Our ready-to-shop outfit edits below will provide ample inspiration.

I love this look from MIC’s Binky! This colour is just so dreamy, I am in love. The wrap style dress is also very popular right now - it’s great to see celebrities keeping up to date with fashion trends!
