Who doesn't love a co-ord? I get very excited when it gets to summer and I can start seeking new two pieces. They are endless style fun and easy to mix and match with clothes you already have hanging up. I just love this two piece. The cut of both pieces is fab. the neck line is very flattering and a great length of crop with the high waisted trousers. I like that the trousers and flares but they aren't quite fitted. A denim jacket thrown over is all the outfit needs to be complete. Image: Getty Images

This is without a doubt my favourite Coachella Street Style look of all the ones I've seen - and there are A LOT. Coachella ootds are all over Instagram but this one has to be the best. I just love how amazingly curated this looks. The double denim for starters is just great. The aspect that stands out the most has to be the crocheted shorts that perfectly coordinate with the fringing on the jacket. I mean, just wow - what a Coachella look. Image: Getty Images

The transition from winter into spring is always a tough one wardrobe-wise. Especially with the recent weather swinging between extremes. One of my favourite pieces to combat this is the jumpsuit. The perfect balance - a long leg but often sleeveless or short sleeves and lighter in material than denim. ASOS stocks so many options like this. They can be layered with a white tee underneath and a jacket over the top for cooler days, or simply worn like this. Image: Instagram @tashaggreen

Coachella weekend one may be over but the word on everyone’s lips is still ‘Beyonce’. The singer took to the stage in not one but five outfits for her headline performance on Saturday night and made history with her looks.

Bey collaborated with Olivier Rousteing, creative director of French fashion house Balmain for her performance on the Coachella main stage, creating bespoke outfits inspired by Balmain’s military-inspired AW collection.

We saw bright-yellow sweatshirts, glittering Balmain bodysuits, black and gold sequins and nods to the Black Panthers and Egyptian Queen, Nefertiti. Beyonce also rocked signature fishnets, denim cut-offs and bee accessories.

We loved each and every one of ‘Yonce’s looks so we’ve put together an edit to help you steal her style. Whether you’re heading to a festival or prepping for a night out, these statement pieces will help you channel your inner Queen Bey.

Now, if you saw this dress and didn't immediately think of Clueless, you probably need to reevaluate your life. I am so in love with this dress, if I was a little more spendy with my overdraft and yellow didn't wash me out I'd have already bought it. This could be worn with strappy simple heels or trainers, maybe a denim jacket and it's an easier summer look. And again not a floral in sight. Image: Inter Mix

A classic Coachella look is this one that I spotted on Shay Mitchell. She's taken the shorts and t-shirt combo and made is so chic. Instead of a plain tee Shay has opted for this cool crop. Shay completely pulls this off like I can't imagine anyone else. With some ripper white denim shorts this is a simple but great monochrome look. But it has to be the accessories that have made the outfit. The sunglasses are quite noughties-esque and along with those hoops and black bag with a chain strap Shay is sure to be the chicest Coachella attendee. Image: Getty

I love to pair a long sleeve top with denim jeans, I think is a simple piece that can add a chic and elegant feel to any denim outfit.  A great bag and sunglasses are like best friends of this look. The denim-inspired shirts are taking centre stage little by little within the street style after we saw several versions of this iconic shirt on the catwalks of fashion houses as varied as Calvin Klein, Versace and Alberta Ferretti, to name a few. Credit: Pinterest

We love those easy pieces you can just throw on and go but spring hasn’t exactly been the warmest this year. Nonetheless, we’re determined to rock our in-season pieces as seen on the runway and on all our favourite celebs.

A jumpsuit is the perfect example of stylish dressing made easy, whether you’re wearing yours for work, the weekend or a night out with the girls. From vintage-inspired wide-leg styles to statement prints and plunging V-necks, having a few fail-safe one-pieces in your wardrobe is a must.

But how do you style a jumpsuit in spring? The weather is hardly tropical so we looked to our team of editors and style insiders for advice…

The trick with spring dressing is layering. Whether it’s lengths, prints, textures or tones, team a jumpsuit with the right layers and it’ll soon become your go-to. We love contrasting classic leather jackets with bold prints, offsetting a silky silk jumpsuit with a white tee, or opting for a classic floaty wide-leg suit with a tough denim jacket and trainers.

Heading from your desk to drinks? Opt for a shoulder-baring style, swap your trainers for open-toe boots and add a clutch. Jumpsuits really are a wardrobe hero so why save yours for the summer months?

It's back. The festival that created its own unique dress code is returning this weekend and if you're one of the lucky show goers we have a few tips for you. Packing for Coachella doesn't have to be a daunting task. You don't need to acquire a Native American headdress to impress. In fact, avoiding fancy dress and going for a chicer approach will make more of a statement. So assuming, you’ve already sorted out your luggage, we’ll help you with the packing.

Do's and don'ts when packing for Coachella…

Don't bring a one-piece

Jumpsuits and bodysuits look cute but they’re a no-no at a festival, as you'll be stuck in long toilet cues and you'll have to change in and out of your one-piece. Instead, go for the simpler version with a bralette, cut-off jean shorts and western-style booties.

Do light layering

Considering you'll be faced with the adverse weather of the desert, see-sawing between high and low degrees it's best to resort to layering. Wear your swimsuit top, with a flowing skirt or denim shorts, your booties and a kimono or denim jacket for after dark.

Do practical bags

Backpacks and cross-body bags are your safest bet come festival season. You can store larger items with ease: say your water bottle, SPF, phone and deodorant while leaving your arms and hands free to fist pump and dance the night away.

Don't do sandals

We know the model pack often strolls the California polo fields in sandals which looks adorable during the day but not so practical during the gigs. Instead, go for cute white sneakers or ankle boots that will elevate your outfit and keep your toes safe at the same time.

Do glitter make up

Add some extra sparkle by adopting the festival look without going full unicorn. Some stick-on gems, glitter eyeshadow and shimmering lip balm will leave you looking fresh and ready to party. Avoid heavy eyeliners and dark eyeshadow as they tend to smudge in the heat.

Editor's Pick: Add a dab of self-tan before you hit the festival for an extra glow. Just remember to wash your hands immediately after applying it and stay away from stain-prone clothing like your whites and crochet bikini tops.

Now you're done and ready to party the weekend away! See you in the fields…

Show us a girl who’s tired of denim, we’ll wait. Whether it’s your favourite pair of lived-in boyfriend jeans, a cool cropped jacket or a pair of classic cut-offs, denim will always be a wardrobe staple for day, night, casual workdays, the weekend and beyond.

We love a fail-safe tee and jeans look but we’re also partial to a little statement flair. From printed skirts to ‘70s-style wide legs and ultra-distressed detailing, denim is having a moment on the SS18 runway and on the streets. From Balmain to Valentino, Off-White to APC, statement jeans and jackets reign.

Layer your favourite pieces to keep the spring chill at bay and go for full double denim in a pair of raw-hem jeans, an easy roll-neck sweater and an oversized denim jacket with eclectic embroidery at the shoulders. With a bodysuit underneath, this is the perfect ensemble to take you from day to night with ease.

Mix and match your washes with deep blues, indigos and black rinses worn together, opt for straight-leg styles with extra embellishments or go bold with a printed denim shirt dress, heeled boots and flashes of gold-toned jewellery.

Whatever your vibe, we’ve created the ultimate denim edit of cool denim pieces to inspire you this season. Shop our favourites below...
