Something about this trend is getting me obsessed! I love the subtle reveal of the chunky knits with an open back. The cutout can be used to show off your gorgeous lace bra or even go braless to show off the appeal of your back. Wear it with jeans or skirts because these go with everything. This trend is even making your back fashionable. You will be trendy from the front and the back! #openback #blouses #knits #chunkyknits #tops #trend #streetstyle #fashion

We at the Shopcade HQ love a good throwback and are huge Bollywood buffs, so we figured why not combine the two and write something everyone would relate to? The 2000s had some truly unique and iconic Bollywood fashion trends that we are all guilty of having sported, amirite? Don't lie, we know it all! So here are our favourite 2000s fashion trends from Bollywood movies.

Shararas (Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai)
This movie brought us some quintessentially 2000s trends, like the skinny scarf dupatta, flared pants used as salwars, and of course the infamous sharara from the Shamita Shetty song "Sharara Sharara".

Patiala salwar + tee (Jab We Met)
Kareena Kapoor's Geet is probably one of the most popular Bollywood characters in history, and with good reason! The effervescent Punjabi kudi is well known for popularising the combination of the patiala salwar with a long t-shirt.

Sexy bodysuit + miniskirt (Dhoom 2)
Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2 was not only adorably naive, but also super sexy in the cutout bodysuits she rocked with miniskirts. So hot!

The Emmys are hands-down one of the most exciting events of the year in Hollywood, because we get to see our favourite faces from TV putting their best foot forward on the red carpet in some gorgeous dresses!

After much deliberation, we have finally picked our favourites of this year.

Kerry Washington
We have long coveted the ultra chic wardrobe of Kerry's character Olivia Pope from Scandal, and the actress herself has stunning sense of dressing too! A pregnant Kerry looked beautiful on the red carpet in a black custom Brandon Maxwell cutout gown.

Laverne Cox
Laverne Cox aka Sophia Burset from Orange is the New Black is hands-down one of our favourite people, with all the amazing activism she does for her transgender community. She looked uber sexy in a golden plunging Naeem Khan dress that gave us major #QueenBey vibes.

Priyanka Chopra
PC aka Alex Parrish from Quantico aka queen of our hearts stole everyone's attention on the Emmys red carpet when she did a graceful twirl in her red Jason Wu gown!

Sophie Turner
20-year-old Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones (the show that broke all Emmys records this year, FYI) looked super elegant in a black, lacey Valentino creation and her gorgeous blonde locks.

Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke is one of the golden girls of television, with her character Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones being one of the most popular ever, and her personality captivating fans off-screen. So it was only fitting that she looked gorgeous in a champagne-coloured Atelier Versace dress.

Taraji P. Henson
Taraji has captivated us all as the sassy-but-loveable Cookie Lyon on Empire, and even though her lemon yellow Vera Wang dress was simple compared to the other embellished dresses on the red carpet, she looked amazing as ever!

Emily Ratajkowski
No best-dressed list would be complete without Emily Ratajkowski, who habitually turns heads with her super sexy physique and bold sartorial choices. Though she chose a relatively demure outfit for the Emmys this year, the deep blue Zac Posen gown flattered her beautifully!

The LBD is an all-time staple fashion piece in every girl’s wardrobe, but who said you have to style it the same every time?

Take a cue from our favourite different ways that A-listers rocked their LBDs recently!

Go goth chic like Jacqueline
Jacqueline Fernandez gave us goth chic goals by pairing her LBD with a choker, intense black smokey eyes, and super hot pointy black boots. We love how edgy this look is!

Play peekaboo like Priyanka
An LBD with cutout detailing is a cool way to show some skin without getting too risqué! We’re totally onboard with how PC chose to go with a light colour palette with the rest of the look to balance things out.

Do Breakfast at Tiffany’s like Kangana
Because who doesn’t want to emulate the evergreen outfit Audrey Hepburn rocked in the all-time hit Breakfast at Tiffany’s? Simply altering the length of the dress to a shorter one, the rest of the look—choker necklace, hairstyle, and all—remains eternally on trend!

If you know anything about Taylor Swift, you know that the American pop star is a sweetheart, and loves to dress the part. Tay usually rocks her skater skirts, crop tops, and pastel sweaters. But at the Met Gala, she went for something totally different.

Taylor was one of the best-dressed celebs at the star-studded night, in a daring metallic snakeskin dress with side cutouts, black lace-up ribbon heels, and black lipstick. Wear this look as an alternative to occasion wear!

Supermodel Heidi Klum channeled her inner femme fatale in her latest shoot for Hunger magazine.

The normally cheerful blonde model appears in the spread decked out in black, in a daring high-slit black gown, tops with lace-up fronts, and a mysterious wide-brimmed hat with an eye cutout.

She borrows from bondage aesthetics, with a loose rope around her neck, hazy cigarette smoke, and long lacquered nails.

Spring is in the air! With the beautiful sunshine and happy songbirds come darling new accessories and fresh looks!

This spring, add a pop of color to your wardrobe with an indigo and salmon colorblocked silk scarf, or a candy striped satchel purse.

The best & brightest sandals of the season are by far platform sandals, but cutout flats, espadrilles, and wedges are always a complementary addition to spring outfits!

Boho chic is one style that combines style and comfort gorgeously. How to rock this trend, you ask? Here are a few of our fav celebs you can take a cue from!

Sonam Kapoor
This long, semi-pleated crimson tunic by Sohaya pairs beautifully with an oxidised silver necklace and plain black sandals.

Monica Dogra
Here, the skirt is the hero of the outfit. Choose a colourful printed midi skirt like this one by Manish Arora, and pair it with white for a summery, boho look.

Anushka Sharma
Short-shorts, a short tunic top, and tassels galore! By keeping it all-black, Anushka delivers a more subtle version of boho chic that you can rock if you like to stay away from bright colours.

Katrina Kaif
Another easy way to rock this trend is a printed maxi dress with slouchy cutout sleeves and bead work, like this Rebecca Taylor dress Katrina recently rocked.

Alia Bhatt
A short, white cotton dress is the perfect outfit for the sweltering summer. Choose one with a cute, boho pattern like this Hemant & Nandita creation that Alia donned.

Athiya Shetty
‘Tis the perfect season to rock bright hues! Choose a bright yellow dress with simple boho-esque patterns, like this Nishka Lulla dress Athiya wore.
