Kim has been killing it with her outfits lately! I love the cut out design from her bodysuit and i'm really into her cleopatra bob, i think it suits her more than the long wavy hair that she previously had. photo credit: @kimkardashian on twitter #beauty #fashion #outfit #hair #look

Nowadays when I see long hair for me is just meh! I'm obsessed with short hair right now since I recently cut my own! So, I really loved how the blunt bob of the picture was styled. Those very loose waves just in the front add this romantic touch to the girl and at the same thing frames her face perfectly. Not forgetting the gorgeous head clip too. photo credit: @manrepeller on twitter #hair #hairstyle #bob #look

In summer, pared-down basics are everything and boy do we love a bodysuit. Sleek, simple and perfect for pretty much every occasion, the bodysuit sits somewhere between your best-fitting top and feel-good lingerie.

Got a night out with the girls planned? A wrap skirt and long-sleeved bodysuit is a fail-safe look for desk to dark – just change from flats to a pair of block-heeled sandals and add a stack of bangles.

For your holiday wardrobe, it’s all about simple sleeveless styles in bold colours and textures. Think ribbed one-pieces with halter-necks and deep V-necks to pair with cut-off denim shorts and boho-inspired wide-leg trousers.

For the weekend, a simple black or white number with jeans and a designer tote is guaranteed to become your go-to – simply add oversized sunnies for instant cool.

Collared shirts are the deal at the moment. Either with Victorian collars or minimalist sharp cut collars, if there is a collar it is trendy. Perfect for office style, these collar shirts will look perfect with your pencil skirts or wide leg trousers. Choose the sleeveless ones if you can’t deal with the hot weather… #collar #collaredshirt #shirt #top #blouse #trend #fashion #style #streetstyle

Sometimes the simplest trends are the best ones. Let’s be honest, on those days when you’ve ‘nothing to wear’ you can’t do much better than black jeans, a white shirt and a blazer. Sometimes less is more and that’s certainly the case with this summer’s hottest footwear trend…

Pool slides hit the runway a few seasons back and now they’re everywhere. We’ve seen classic monochrome iterations from Givenchy, studded slides from Chloé and our bejewelled designs in colourful satin by Miu Miu.

The high street also has an impressive line-up on offer – from Zara and Topshop to Mango, you’ll find pool slides at every turn. Now, the slide silhouette is simple and ridiculously easy to wear, meaning you can amp things up a little with the design.

We love knotted and embellished styles, metallics to give those all-white summer looks a lift and neon for summer festival ensembles with denim cut-offs and glitter. Try satin, faux shearling or gingham for a cool textural look, or go super simple in a vacay-ready rubber pair.

Sure a trip to the beach is an excuse to rock your designer bikini but if you’re planning on surfing, sailing or spiking a volleyball, that Joanna Ortiz number might not cut it.

If you’re the kind of girl who loves her beach sports but refuses to compromise on style, we’ve got the perfect edit and a few styling tips for you…

Go for a statement neon bikini in a classic triangle style and pair it with a pair of comfy shorts a baseball cap and a cool slogan tee. Don’t forget to slather on that SPF.

Style a white bandeau top with denim cut-offs and high-top sneakers. Finish your look with a straw hat and boho ankle bracelets for effortless surf-inspired chic.

You can still look luxe, opt for a metallic swimsuit and wrap-around sunnies and rock your hair in a slick high ponytail. Ready for the big game at the beach? Shop the best looks from our summer sports edit below…

Sun exposure, salty water, chlorine and frequent washes can make hair dull and brittle so summer can be a tough season for your tresses. We looked to our panel of beauty experts for a few tips on how to protect your hair during the warmer months.

Fancy having stunning holiday hair all summer long?...

Trim on the regular

Having your hair cut on a regular basis means preventing split ends before they can move up your strands. Book your hair appointment as a preventative measure even if your hair is already in a good condition. Every four to six months should do the trick.

Moisture locked

The sun can have a drying effect on your hair so it's essential to begin a regular regime of deep moisturizing. Apply serum on a weekly or fortnightly basis that will restore the moisture levels. For extra protection apply a hydrating mask for fine or dyed hair.

Wear a hat

Invest in cool fedora hats that will protect your hair and scalp as well as your face from the sun's harmful rays. This season we absolutely love a wide-brimmed hat with a cute bow or boho embroidery.

UV spray

Opt for a generous spritz of UV heat protector before you head out the door in summer. This seems like a small measure to take but it’ll make a ton of difference to your hair and scalp on sunny days.

Now go ahead and enjoy the summer sun with reckless abandon. Shop our favourite haircare products from the  edit below...

A bit more elegant than jeans, but also suitable for a casual environment, slightly cut trousers are a costume workhorse. You can combine them with almost anything from basic t-shirts to eye-catching tops, and they'll look perfect. Keep in mind that they should reach just above the ankles and rub the legs but never squeeze them. Credits: Pinterest
