Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and more recently Kim Kardashian west are wearing a sleek extra long hairstyle. Even Beyonce joined in the action using the extra glossy hair of Cher (and a little rhyme there) as inspiration.

But the truth is even before Kim's interpretation of a 1970's disco songstress there were many others that attempted to sport the look.

Crystal Gayle's rapunzel-like locks are a perfect example. The literarly floor-length hair was a staple of her country music persona. Black China's long blonde braids and Beyonce's gleaming, center parted blonde locks worked perfectly against her shimmery gown and diamond necklace.

Beyonce looked amazing during Coachella in long luscious curls. Is there anything she can do wrong?

Looking forward to rocking the bold Rapunzel look this season? Shop all the essentials below!

If no amount of hair masks, leave-in conditioners or DIY-egg-treatments are working to revive your dry, damaged and brittle hair, it might be time to reassess how you style and care for your hair before accepting you'll look like a one-hit glam rocker.

Try changing up these six things that you might be doing wrong:

1. Heat styling too often - Over-styling on high heat can quickly damage your hair. Wind it down to low or medium-low heat and always use heat protectants.

2. Using an old hair dryer - Using an old hair dryer or not cleaning out the air vents can clog up your hair dryer, making it work less effectively, and making you use more heat to achieve your hair style.

3. Not using UV protectant - Don’t forget your hair when it comes to sun protection - look for hair products with UV protection built in or find a hair sunscreen.

4. Using heat for every style - Give your hair a rest from heat by using heatless options to create your desired hair style - leaving your hair in braids overnight creates beautiful curls and waves.

5. Using the wrong products - Harsh chemicals such as alcohol or sulfates can strip your hair of its natural moisture. Instead, go for sulfate-free formulas and use coconut or jojoba oil products.

6. You don’t change it up - Wearing your hair in the same way every day can cause your hair strands to weaken, particularly at your parting or where your hair is most stretched. Switch it up to help keep your hair strong.

We have seen it in celebs like Zendaya, Rita Ora and Solange Knowles, the curly afro is making a huge comeback for 2017. To achieve this awesone hair style Celebrity Hairstylist @jenatkin says that good hair volume actually starts in the shower. Choose a voluminizing shampoo to give the right body to your curly hair, then, you can apply a spray to define your curls and finish with a pomade in the tip of the curls to keep them in place. January is a great month for fashion, as it rolls award season as well as wedding season into one huge ball of high fashion goodness. Which usually also means that Bollywood's celebs are flaunting their finest out in the streets, leading to some killer best dressed lists! Here's this week's roundup:

1) Katrina Kaif: Kat was recently spotted in a gorgeous nude gown, complete with white embroidery and embellishments all over. Paired with a neutral glowy face of makeup, this look is summery glam at it's finest!

2) Sonakshi Sinha: We love love loved her white lehenga look, complete with the most stunning white and green jewellery to match. Not to mention that fierce winged eyeliner to bring an extra hit of desi swag to her outfit!

3) Sarah Jane Dias: Contrasting with Sonakshi's opulent white lehenga, Sarah was recently spotted in a grungy all-black outfit, which was paired perfectly with a dark smoky eye and relaxed curls in her hair. We thought her night out look was an absolute winner, and flaunted her body perfectly!

4) Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra: Back to the shaadi vibes, Alia was spotted at a friend's wedding in a beautiful white lehenga too! And the perfect accessory to her outfit? Sidharth Malhotra in a suit, of course! The two looked amazing together, and Alia's petite frame in that outfit was goals af.

5) Sonam Kapoor: It ain't no best dressed list without a mention of Sonam Kapoor, amirite? She shared some photos of a black and white ensemble she wore recently, and we think it's lovely! Preppy fashion was taken to a whole new level, as she paired her simple white top and black skirt with black boots and a coat to match.

The short haired look has been on trend throughout 2016, where multiple celebs and YouTubers have ditched their long locks for a short cropped do. But with short hair comes the struggle of styling it, which can get a little monotonous. So of course we turned to the celeb world for help, where some of our faves show us how they care for and style their short tresses. Read on for some celeb inspired ways to style your hair!

a) Run a curler through it:
Emily Ratajkowski flaunted her new short hairdo at the Golden Globes this year, and we thought she had it styled perfectly! Just like her, you can add some dimension to your hair with some loosely defined curls. This style tends to hold for longer, and looks nicer as it loosens up over the days! Don't forget to add some hairspray so it holds in place.

b) Mess it up:
Kaley Cuoco chopped off her hair earlier in 2016 as well, and soon began to flaunt some adorably messy waves in her hair on the red carpet. If you want the look for yourself, try spraying some slat spray into your hair before scrunching it up lightly in your hands. You'll be left with undefined and messy waves, giving your look a more chilled out vibe.

c) Try an upto:
With short hair, putting your hair up is a very quick and easy option for you. Try a braided updo like Julianne Hough, which will add a touch of glam to any outfit or makeup looks! Smooth down any flyaway hairs by spraying hairspray on an old toothbrush and running it over them. We assure you, this trick will have you looking put together through the day!

We've been awaiting this film ever since filming began in 2015, and the trailer is finally out! Starring Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan, and Shahid Kapoor, Rangoon is a period drama set in the midst of World War 2 and India's struggle for independence.

Kangana plays a dancer named Julia, who is reluctantly shipped off to Burma by Saif to engage the troops and boost morale. There, she meets Shahid Kapoor, and romance quickly brews. As time goes, a love triangle forms, where both men demand for her to choose.

In terms of fashion, it seems that the film has a classic 40s aesthetic. Tea dresses, red lips and ringlet curls in the hair for women, and tuxedos with prominent moustaches and for the men.

If you found yourself inspired by this vibe and want to try it out for yourself, we have some Rangoon inspired pieces below! Shop our edit, and get the Rangoon look!

With every passing year, women move a giant step forward. Even if applied to Bollywood, the ladies are kicking some serious ass! And since this realisation came to us on WCW, we thought it would be only appropriate to highlight our top 5 moments where girls made an impact in 2016. Read on!

1) Alia Bhatt in Udta Punjab
If you watched this film, then you know what we're talking about. And if not, it's time to find out! Alia Bhatt's award winning performance in controversial film Udta Punjab had all eyes on her, and justifiably so! This girl has some serious acting chops, and we can't wait to see where she goes in 2017!

2) Deepika Padukone's Hollywood Takeover
When Vin Diesel met Deepika Padukone, sparks were meant to fly on-screen. And that's exactly what happened on the sets of XXX! Deeps plays a leather clad, ass-kicking girl boss in the film, which marks the official start of her Hollywood takeover. Definitely a stellar moment of 2016.

3) Priyanka Chopra... All Year!
Where do we even start with this one? From busting Indian stereotypes on international platforms, to being appointed an ambassador at UNICEF, this girl is initiating change everywhere she goes. We're sure that she will only soar higher in 2017!

4) Saiyami Kher's Debut
This new kid on the block made her Bollywood debut this year, and she definitely left a mark! And in promoting the movie, she established herself as someone who is here to stay. Not to mention, we're such suckers for those curls!

5) Vaani Kapoor's Fitness
With her new film Befikre still in theatres, Vaani Kapoor's killer body have been on full display everywhere you look. Her hard work definitely shows, and is inspiring us to get our own sh*t together too!
