The cold shoulder. What is it? The cold shoulder trend has been around for seasons and is still going strong!  You may have heard of the expressions: cold shoulder, off the shoulder, the one shoulder. Originating from the 1960s, the Bardot top, or off the shoulder top, has evolved into a modern staple. It can be seen on the runway from high end brands like Victoria Beckham and Ellery to Beaufille and Rosetta Getty who have modernised it and found varying innovative twists for the classic design. Here are 5 reasons why we love this trend and how to wear it well:

MADE TO FLATTER: Its flattering for everyone, all ages, body shapes and sizes. AND did you know that shoulders are one of the parts of your body that never age?

VERSATILITY: The one shoulder can be seen in everyday staples, evening wear, streetwear, workwear even gowns and wedding dresses!

DAY TO NIGHT Wear it to the office or on a night out! You can take the cold shoulder anywhere and wear it proudly!

QUICK FASHION FIX: A statement trend, it is easily recognisable as a modern update your look!

STYLE WITH: Tops can we worn with your favourite pair of trousers or jeans, skirts and dresses are great easy pieces to style up or down with shoes and accessories. Its basically really easy to wear!

We are still loving the cold shoulder and will continue to in 2018, from white bardot shift dresses to off the shoulder crochet tops. Best of all you can find them on sale in our selection below!

Summer has arrived.

It’s the time we’ve all been waiting for and after endless days of rain and grey weather, we couldn’t be happier to welcome the good weather. Even if that means we have to go through a few days of scorching heat…

Because as we saw from last week’s heatwave, global warming is most definitely a thing and we’re not used to weather reaching levels that high in the UK.

Luckily, all hope isn’t lost as we’ve got the best outfits to tackle the heatwave with utmost style. Because no one knows when the air conditioning is going to breakdown….

The first item we recommend investing in is a pair of wide-leg culottes. Perfect for a day in the office, they’re a comfortable way to cover you legs and look great paired with heels and a light blouse.

Another go-to outfit when it gets warm is the all-white look. There’s nothing worse than wearing dark colours in the sun, and this season all-white outfits have been spotted among all our favourite bloggers so you have every reason to try out the trend yourself.

A must this season is also the crochet top. Best worn with a simple bandeau underneath, it’s the coolest way to add a touch of colour to a casual outfit on a summery day.

Another item that you should definitely add to your summer wardrobe if you haven’t already is a white shirt dress. It’s a classic, but we can guarantee it’s not going anywhere and it can be styled a bajillion different ways so there's no reason not to get yourself one.

Finally, the ultimate evening outfit for the summer is the chiffon dress. If you’re unsure what style to go for, opt for flowers and warm tones - it’s hands down the most elegant way to manage the heat with style!

Now click through the gallery to see the outfits and then shop them below! Hurry, most of the items are up to 50% off...

Crochet is not just for older women! If worn the correct garment and styled properly, it can look incredibly chic and stylist. What we love about crochet is it is extremely versatile and looks good in every form of garment you can think of! You don't have to be a certain type of person to rock crochet, and no matter girly or boho -- we can tell you just how you should style it. Here are some outfit ideas to inspire you.

Skirt
You'd think it's pretty conservative to wear a crochet skirt, but trust us it's not! A beautiful crochet skirt looks good with almost everything. Style these with cotton crop tops, shirts, with a sling bag or oxfords, you'll look incredibly gorgeous no matter what!

Tops
Who doesn't love a crochet top? Wear a crochet crop top with denims, skirts or trousers and we promise the top will always emerge as a star. You can also wear these underneath blazers or shirts for a modified look.

Shorts
The best kind of crochet shorts are the denim ones which have a small crochet patch on them. If you're not a fan of that combination, a simple crochet shorts in white or beige colour always works! If your shorts are bright and neon colour, team them up with a more subtle top and you'll be ready for fun evening with friends.

Dress
What's a dress without a crochet hem? The answer is boring. Team them with oxfords, brogues and a satchel bag.

An easiest way to quickly change the way you look and feel is by changing your hair, because isn't life too short for boring hairdo? Like always, our major inspiration are our b-town divas and they have dictated beauty trends to us yet again! This time around, they have showed us five different hairstyles we should be trying this fall. Trust us, they aren't very time consuming.

Loose fishtail braid
Messy has never looked this sexy! Take inspiration from Deepika and wear a loose, messy fishtail braid to work today. They look best when worn on everything crochet -- from dresses to crop tops.

Middle part
If you're the kind who doesn't like messy and wants to make a bold style statement, chances are you're going to want to wear the middle part all day every day! Use some gel or setting spray in your hair and wear this look with an embellished dress and you're almost red carpet ready!

Side braids + bun
Sonam perfectly embodies an ideal Indian woman in this look with a classy sari and perfectly done hairdo! When it's too much to let your hair down in this humid weather, tie a messy bun and let loose strands of hair which can then be neatly tired into braids on the sides for a traditional yet chic look. This look is best worn with a sari!

Beach-y Waves
Dresse tom-boy like but still want to retain some femininity? Best way to do so is by wearing your hair in waves and sporting the look with distressed denims and a crop top. Take a cue from our fave diva, Sonakshi Sinha.

Curly + Half bun
We always save the best for the last! If you're a fan of bombers and denims, then you know already that curly hair looks best with it. It's time to get adventurous and pull out our tongs to try some cozy curls tomorrow morning just like Prachi!

We recently spotted Alia Bhatt arriving at Mumbai airport in an uber chic, all denim ensemble. What's more is she topped off this cool attire with a long white coat which looked both comfortable and chic. The lace work on her top is a very refreshing break from the usual denim on denim and adds a slight twist to her look.

We'd like to try on this look on ourselves, so we have picked a few of our fave denim tops and pants which we think you may be interested in too! Check them out.
