Crochet everything! I’m guessing people can’t get enough of festivals. Even though Coachella is long gone… Festival styles are re-emerging in streetstyles. Crochet is surely surprising as now it became a part of our daily life. You can style a crochet top with your favourite denim short or wear a crochet dress with your sandals, because festival feeling is not going anywhere! #festival #style #coachella #crochet #fashion #streetstyle #trend

Festival season is still on trend. Even though Coachella ended almost a month ago, the trends are still going on! Sequins and glitter styles have taken over swimsuits. Are you looking for a way to stand out in your beachwear style? Sparkling swimsuits should be your go-to piece. You can even style them with your denim shorts for a night out during the summer. #fashion #swimsuit #bikini #swimwear #summer #sequin #glitter #sparkle

Forget muted tones and sleek silhouettes, this spring designers are opting for maximalism, and the bolder and brighter the better. One of our favourite takes on the trend comes from Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz and luxury online retailer mytheresa.com. The pair have collaborated to create a statement nine-piece capsule collection sold exclusively at mytheresa.com

Known for contrasting vibrant, festive design with flattering and creative shapes, Johanna looked to the stylish city of Cartagena for the collection’s inspiration. ‘For me, Cartagena is visual poetry,’ says Johanna. ‘The essence of the place is a conductor of creative energy and inspiration. It is the hometown of magical realism.’

Oversized polka dots on silk, voluminous ruffles and striking tropical prints are the focus of this collection with thigh-high splits and deep V-neck styles adding extra flair. The collection includes maxi dresses, statement tops, swimsuits and kimonos - perfect for brightening up your wardrobe for SS18.

Whether you’re jetting off to warmer climes, getting festival-ready for Coachella this month or simply looking to maximise your new-season wardrobe, this exclusive collection inspired by sunny Spanish resorts is the one you’ve been waiting for.

Want to see more? Head to our gallery for inspiration and shop the capsule collection from our edit below...

The collection launches globally on mytheresa.com from April 11 2018.

Coachella may be over but we’re still totally inspired by those California desert vibes. Whether it’s our favourite bloggers sunning it up in Joshua Tree or gorgeous shots of cute stores in mountain towns, the Cali aesthetic is all over Instagram and has stolen our hearts.

We love the laid-back boho décor typically found in cool desert homes, so we decided to create an edit and a few insider tips to help you nail the look in your space for less.

How to create a desert-inspired boho home look…

Go greener

Now, the desert wouldn’t be the desert without a few cacti so the first thing on your list should be desert plants. Whether you opt for a family of tiny succulents or a statement aloe, bringing green indoors not only looks great, it’s proven to boost your mood. If, however, you’re a notorious plant killer, opt for a few plastic plants – there are some amazing ones to be found in our edit.

Mix your textures

Want to nail that boho look? Mix up your fabrics and patterns and don’t be afraid to layer clashing cushions and throws. A statement rug and a few scatter pillows can go a long way.

Go west

Desert-inspired homes always pay homage to the Wild West so whether you drape ponchos over your chairs, opt for bull-horn accessories or invest in a wall hanging, channel a little American history with your interiors look.

Light it up

The California desert is one of the brightest, sunniest spots on earth so filling your room with light is a must. Go for metallic accents and mirrors to brighten your space and clash light tones with pops of colour. Extra lamps are always a good idea too.

Strawberry Blonde hair is one of the hottest hair colour trends of 2018. As Coachella is past us you would think the festival vibes are over. But no! You can carry the festival vibes with you at all times with strawberry blonde hair. Take inspiration from Blake Lively or Paris Jackson. They’re loving it so I’m sure you’ll love it too. #strawberry #blonde #haircolour #hair #style #trend #festival

My last Coachella look had to be this pastel peach dream. Again a co-ord proves it can't be beaten. I am obsessed with the colours here - the ideal summer combo. The style of the slightly structured two piece with the boho scarf thrown over is a beautiful summer styling technique. The scarf brings the co-ord into the laid back festival vibe perfectly. Who doesn't love a co-ord? I get very excited when it gets to summer and I can start seeking new two pieces. They are endless style fun and easy to mix and match with clothes you already have hanging up. I just love this two piece. The cut of both pieces is fab. the neck line is very flattering and a great length of crop with the high waisted trousers. I like that the trousers and flares but they aren't quite fitted. A denim jacket thrown over is all the outfit needs to be complete. Image: Getty Images

Another fabulous Coachella look. This is very feminine and 'girly' but the fringing is quite heavy which strikes a great balance. I love the bell sleeves on the jacket. The pastels and pinks update a truly seventies look. A great outfit to pair with cowboy boots to totally complete the vibe of the era. Of course the round sunglasses are Annie to that seventies style too. Perfect festival wear. Image: Getty Images

This is without a doubt my favourite Coachella Street Style look of all the ones I've seen - and there are A LOT. Coachella ootds are all over Instagram but this one has to be the best. I just love how amazingly curated this looks. The double denim for starters is just great. The aspect that stands out the most has to be the crocheted shorts that perfectly coordinate with the fringing on the jacket. I mean, just wow - what a Coachella look. Image: Getty Images

I call this hairstyle the Farrah Fawcett Ponytail.  Never a messy ponytail has looked so good, Coachella is delivering so many cool hairstyles lately.  photo credit: @telva on twitter #hair #coachella #hairstyle #festival
