this grey shirt, it's so cool. I love unique clothing pieces that actually look wearable. And this one it's definitely a great option. The whole different and little-detached sleeves are such a great concept I can see this piece work really well even for office meetings. This winter season has been one of our best yet simply because it has defied the normality of winter clothing: such as the dab colour palette of the normcore of yesteryear and instead it's invested in optimism, celebration, sparkles and bold colours. Take the floral bomber jacket for example that shows no signs of going away. Actually, it's one of the biggest trends this winter and one of the best pieces for Spring so believe us when we say it will be a great investment!

That silky, embroidered bomber jacket has been extremely popular mainly due to its versatility. It can be incorporated into any athleisure or sports attire, you can wear it with jeans on your morning commute or with your cute party dress on Saturday night. The fashion pack agrees. From eccentric styles at Gucci to high street offerings that would make any girl jealous.

Whatever you call it, what is clear is that the military or camouflage trend is very fashionable. The shops have filled with these dark green tones, persimmons and browns, for what? Clothing stores have been filled with these patterns that also feel pretty good and are not very complicated to combine.Have a look at our gallery for more inspiration!Credits: Pinterest

You probably heard about the controversy surrounding one of H&M’s kids slogan hoodies earlier this month by now. Which got us thinking about the perils of wearing a seemingly innocent slogan without considering the repercussions. Because as that story showed, you might not be offended by the message spelled out but other people who see you in real life and/or on social media in it might be and they could aggressively confront you about it. Swear words (disguised or not) and double entendres are most problematic as you have no idea of knowing what meaning individuals place of different words or phrases. On the other hand, why should you and your clothing be censored? One of fashion’s fundamental principles is freedom of expression and we are lucky enough to live in a country where we can wear what we want. While there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed (nothing discriminatory, racist, homophobic, sexist etc), you should be able to wear your sense of humour or thoughtfully share your opinion should you wish.

As a general rule of thumb, though, we’d say if you’re in doubt, don’t wear it out. Stick to the positive, easy-to-laugh at, empowering and motivational phrases that are sure to spark a smile or provoke conversation. Also be sure that you believe in and stand by what your hoodie says as you will be judged by it. Dior arguably sparked the new wave of slogan clothing with their ‘We should all be feminists’ t-shirt, inspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s powerful Ted talk and essay, and printing or embroidering words on a warmer hoodie is a winter-perfect upgrade.

We’ve rounded up our favourite slogan hoodies for women, men and children for you to shop in our edit below.

Kate Moss turned 44 today, and for more than 20 years she has been infusing the fashion industry with her unique sense of grunge and boho style, her edge and her overall completely effortlessly elegant aesthetic. The truth is that she has had an excellent training of top designers, stylists and fellow models that have worked with her. So she has developed her unique formula of Kate Moss style that relies on a few simple style rules. Shopcade investigates.

1. Go for an edgy denim

We 've always associated denim with Kate Moss but she's always gone for the denim underdog - the styles that weren't on trend at the time. From low-cut skinny jeans to wide -legged jeans and animal print she's worn all kind of styles and it has always been ahead of their time. Kudos!

2. Quality

Moss is not a fan of the high street. Even though she has launched many successful fashion lines with Topshop she always goes for quality. One of her favourite past times is discovering second-hand clothing from Portobello market.

3. Timeless Prints

You could say that Moss is a print queen. She loves her leopard print, polka dots and a few 70s funky patterns. But she always goes for the ones with classic appeal. She would never go too crazy which explains her effortless yet edgy look.

4. Jewellery

When she wants to draw attention from the clothes she turns to jewellery and diamonds to be exact. From 19th-century drop earrings to sapphire and ruby bangles she knows how to make any dab outfit spark.

As we were looking for the must-have item of the week one kept creeping up: the Timberland boot. Even though styling them can be proven a difficult process it's actually one of the most stylish pieces of clothing you can own. Their clunky, chunky nature similar to that of Dr Marten boots instantly gives off an edgy vibe that can elevate any piece of clothing.

One of the biggest fans of the Timberland boot (apart from 90s RnB stars and Rihanna) is fashion editor Veronika Heilbrunner. She wears them with denim and softens the look by adding a faux fur coat. Or she edges up a regular long black dress by throwing on a pair of Timberlands. Who said that a classic Channel suit should be worn with a pair of conventional black slingbacks? Not Veronika. Her footwear boot of choice is again the Timberland boot. If you' re looking for a more urban approach go back to that early 90s styling or Rihanna's version and sport them with oversized trousers, denim more specifically. Voila! You're Timbaland ready!

Head to our gallery for more style inspiration and shop your favourite Timbaland boot style from our expert edit below.

As we keep our track on our New Year New You content organising and planning for a more fruitful and productive year, we couldn't leave out the amazing Japanese organizing consultant and author Marie Kondo. Her bestselling book "The ", had helped myriads of men and women to tidy up their house, environment even their personal and professional lives. Here are a few of her secrets to success:

Lesson 1 Tackle Categories, Not Rooms

Even though we tend to take on one room at a time Kondo's advice is to tidy by category and deal with each category separately, for example, tackle all your books at once. Begin with clothing, go through more emotional items later such as books and old photographs.

Lesson 2 Respect Your Ownership

One of the best ways to avoid messiness is to truly value each item. You wouldn't leave that dress on the floor if you really respect it right?

Lesson 3 Get Over Nostalgia

Make two categories of things that are worth saving such as your sentimental memorabilia and the ones that are kept by habit or laziness. Throw the second category away and start storing the first.

Lesson 4 Purge is Good

One of her best rules is to keep only what gives you joy and it's much easier than you think. Start by putting on some music that makes you equally joyful.

Lesson 5 Go for the fold not the hang

Once the purge session is over it's time for storing. Rather than folding Kondo thinks a lot of our clothing would be "happier" folded in a dresser.

Lesson 6 The Fold

Her vertical folding technique makes everything easy to spot and hard to mess up. FOlded this way clothing looks like fabric origami ready to line your drawers in neat rows.

Months after Tiffany & Co. New York opened their first in store cafe, because we all need a coffee whilst we peruse Diamonds, Gucci Garden, Florence, has opened a restaurant in the experiential store. Three Michelin Star chefs take the reigns on the creation of Gucci tortellini and even Gucci scampi. International Editor of Vogue Suzy Menkes muses that perhaps this is the demise of fast fashion. Clothing is an experience and dining on your trip to Gucci creates just that. And aren't those interiors just divine? Image: The Guardian

This is the hue that sets women apart (the winter just denotes the season and warm clothing it colours). Some, who we secretly envy, can keep a bright white outfit bright white for the whole day. It suggests a certain lifestyle devoid of dirt and clumsy spills of red wine, and maybe even a private car as transport to avoid any flying pollution particles. Expensive looking and elegant head to toe or via a cosy coat that hides other colours underneath, it’s worth noting that there is more than one shade- which you’ll know if you’ve ever looked at a paint chart. They’re distinguished by warm and icy undertones so you can pick the best one for your skin tone and avoid looking washed out or ashy.

But what about the dry cleaning bills? Because the fantasy life above is just that, fantasy, for the many of us. A single stain or speck utterly ruins the effect and you’ll stress checking everywhere you sit and everything that touches you for as long as you’re wearing it. White accessories are marginally less risky to sport. In fact, maybe it’s safer to stand or stay indoors or head out armed with a spot cleaning kit for little emergencies. Which means you won’t really be enjoying your day. The way to minimise the cons and maximise the pros is to wear a pop of winter white instead- one piece that will brighten and purify the rest of your look. Say a white knit with jeans or an all black outfit with on-trend black boots.

Add winter white if you’re meticulous enough via our expert edit below.

We all have an LBD at the back of our wardrobe. A timeless classic that will always be a necessity. Last week Yara Shahidi was spotted in NYC styling the black dress a little differently. For a day look she has layered a dress over a chic white shirt, another clothing repertoire must-have. Playing with both feminine and masculine looks this is sharp, fun and incredibly cool.
