Yes, double denim is back. The classic Canadian tuxedo comprising of a denim shirt and pair of trousers is making a comeback but this time it's getting a very European facelift. Although the combination still relies on the mix of trousers and shirt but this time that shirt is getting an update. The simple button-down shirt is replaced by a mis-buttoned denim jacket or the denim of the jacket and pair of trousers is briefly interrupted by a chunky roll-neck sweater or a frilly long dress.

Go for the ultimate Canadian tuxedo moment by pairing the denim jacket blankly with a pair of denim trousers or try a denim skirt or culottes for effect. This platitudinous trend's re-emergence is attributed to Creative Director of Vetements Demna Gvasalia who first ignited the idea during the SS17 menswear collection.

Because really, you can never have enough denim! Double denim is an eye catching style trick that has been around for ages, but the trick to pulling off a high fashion version is incorporating the latest pieces.

This season, try including denim items like cropped jeans, raw-edged flared culottes, and lighter chambray tops. Boxy denim jackets and any embroidered denim will also work to update your look!

It's official, 2016 is the year of Ugly-Pretty. Those pieces reminiscent of your science teacher's wardrobe, or maybe your mom's dated outfits, are suddenly in style. How do you rock ugly-pretty as a fashionista? I'm so into it, so here's my take.

Wedge boots? Definitely, very 90's chic and walkable. Slouchy sweaters? Hell yes, they're comfy! Culottes? YES, they're flattering on literally everybody. Flared jeans? Get used to 'em! Anything but skinny jeans! Double Denim? When done right (different colored denims) it's fab. 90's style beanies, uh yes! Bad Hair day solved! Sweater Pants and Glove Shoes? Uh, say what?

Whether you're ready for a style change this 2016, why not take a peek on these ugly but pretty style pieces that will be a big for 2016!

Gigi Hadid stepped out to dinner in Sydney rocking a denim on denim look, or as some people call it, a Canadian tuxedo!

She looked gorgeous while down under, in dark rinse cropped jeans and a light button down denim top. She completed the outfit with white sneakers, mirrored sunglasses, and a golden bracelet.

Get her casually wavy hair with sea salt spray, or check out the hair care picks below. We're excited to see double date outfits from Gigi's setting up her best pal Kendall with Nick Jonas.
