You know how some things simply work well together, no questions asked? Like peanut butter and jelly, gin and tonic and of course, all-white ensembles and summer days…

There's something about nailing an all-white outfit that makes you feel and look extra elegant despite the heat. White is our go-to during the summer months and the head-to-toe look is having a moment right now, which is great, if you can get it right. Read on for our tips on how to nail the trend with ease…

White denim

A white pair of jeans is the ideal base, allowing you to experiment with a whole host of options. Opt for faithful cuts that you’d usually rock in blue or black washes and team with a white tee or a silk blouse. Too hot for jeans? Try pressed denim culottes or a distressed off-white skirt for a rock’n’roll twist on the look.

White shoes

White mules were basically invented for summer but if you don’t fancy wearing a heel for your day-to-day, opt for a cool pair of pool slides and pair them with a white summer dress or your jeans.

Plain white tee

You just can't go wrong with a white tee at any time of year. Tuck yours into your jeans or a cool white skirt complete with a wrap front or ruffles. The trick with all white is to break up your profile a little so don’t be afraid to go bold.

White tailoring

A white suit jacket is a stock piece that won’t let you down. Use yours to jazz up your jeans, toughen a skirt or give a maxi dress a little more of an edge. Nothing beats a classic pantsuit so rock the matching white pants with a cool cami top and block heels for desk-to-dark flair.

Warmer weather, brighter days and longer nights mean after-work drinks and dinners are now high on the agenda. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a little afternoon sun on a Friday after a long week at work.

Regrettably, going from boardroom to bar can pose a number of outfit-related conundrums, but don’t fret. We’ve put together a few tips and a helpful edit to ensure you rock your way through Friday and into the weekend via your favourite haunts in style.

Colour pop

A little colour never hurt anybody and if you’re planning on heading out after work, a statement flash of colour or print works a charm. Elevate your office-ready look with a colourful jacket, printed skirt, bright shoes or some next-level statement earrings in pink, neon yellow or coral orange.

Layer up

You won’t be able to get away with a bralette and high-waisted shorts in your daily meetings – that goes without saying – however, you can rock an off-duty summer look at work if you opt for light layers. Team a leather mini with block-heeled sandals and a lacy cami, then layer a smart shirt or cool tee, add pared-down accessories and you’re good to go.

Well heeled

Desk to dark shoes are a great investment. A classic court is always office appropriate so don’t be afraid to don those Louboutins. If it’s a warm day, opt for a heeled sandal or a platform for a more low-key approach.

Accessorise

A few statement accessories can transform any outfit. Lend your pared-down look a little flair with oversized earrings, a luxe designer bag, gold-toned bangles and delicate layered necklaces to offset your décolletage.

As spring inches in day by day, daffodil by daffodil, the weather gets a little lighter and a little brighter. It’s an exciting relief from the oppressive cold of winter, but poses new problems for our wardrobes, as the fluctuating temperatures of this transitional period have us choosing outfits in the morning sunshine which by lunchtime are shivering, inappropriate messes under afternoon cloud. The answer to this issue, however, is simple: layering. Now I don’t just mean adding a chunky-knit jumper to a minidress, but layering at base level - so perhaps add a jersey turtleneck under that dress. Wearing a striped long-sleeve tee under a short-sleeved block colour or graphic tee (very in right now) ensures that you’re covered for rain or shine, and protects against those pesky random goosebumps. Styling like this even works for night-out looks, like blogger Megan Ellaby’s above, as mesh tees provide a slightly dressier alternative without causing overheating in crowded bars. Try a shimmery, high-neck mesh top under a loose, black cami, or a band tee for a grungier vibe. Day to night, winter to spring, you’re covered for all occasions and seasons with a layered tee. I am definitely a style over practicality girl. However, more and more I am refusing to buy shoes that I know - deep, deep down - will ruin my feet. Every now and again, a trend comes along that sees the miraculous fusion of style and practicality. The disco jumper is just this. Actually it is very cold outside and no I don't really want to wear a cami. It a sparkly or sequinned jumper hey presto we can be warm and still be in seasonal style. This #DorothyPerkins (image from their website) piece is only £21 but you can buy them all over the high street from #Topshop to #Reiss. What do you think of this new party trend?

The grunge look is all about dark colours and edgy pieces that don't need much else to make a statement. Leather encapsulates this perfectly, and can give you just that necessary hit of grunge glam to your look. If you're looking to bring your inner leather-clad badass out to play, keep these styling tips in mind:

1) Less is more:
The way to make your leather outfit seem effortless is to actually be effortless with it. Find yourself a black leather midi skirt, tuck a cute oversized cami into it, and put on some black pumps. Not only do you have an edgy af look on your hands, it can also pass as something perfect for a more upscale night out!

2) Disperse the leather:
We won't bore you with the basic leather bags and shoes, but we will encourage you to add little leathery goodness in your other accessories. A statement leather choker, or some fraying pieces tied around your wrists as bracelets can be a great way to add the grunge vibe without going too far out.

3) Colour is your friend:
If you want to kick up the drama even further, then get your leather clothing in a colour other than black. Pair it with something neutral and extra feminine for an interesting dash of contrast to your look. Yellow strappy leather top with a nude skirt and pumps? Yes please!

Reverse layering is everywhere these days. The idea is that instead of layering heavier pieces to cover light pieces, you can let the layers show by wearing lighter pieces on top of heavier pieces. For instance, wearing a lacy cami on top of a button down shirt to add an extra pop of dimension. If you wanna learn how to master this look, then keep on reading!

a) Combine different aesthetics: Like the example above, you can totally mix different vibes to create a fresh and funky look. A button down is a tried and tested classic, but if paired with a lacy cami on top, it will provide just a little bit of boudoir to your look. You have to try it!

b) Play with length: The statement sleeve is everything this season, so why not make that your own! Wear a shorter sleeved bomber jacket on top of a full sleeved top for a warm and comfy outfit that's still on fleet!

c) Make friends with colour: With regular layering, the topmost piece of clothing is usually the one you would expect to shine the most. But with reverse layering, you don't have to worry about that. So go on, wear those tops with long armpits or a cutouts with bright and colourful innerwear! And if you're feeling extra daring, try a sheer top with a neon coloured bra. Nothing more empowering than flaunting yourself sometimes!

Bollywood's celebs are queens at looking amazing everywhere they go. With the new year bringing in new films and new fashion, it seems like the perfect opportunity for these beauties to flaunt their new personal styles! Here's the creme de la creme of this week -

1) Shraddha Kapoor: This stunner has been promoting her new film OK Jaanu all over the place, and has been sporting some beautiful outfits in the process! Our favourite of the week was an easy and breezy blue number, complete with some black pumps and lace accents to match.

2) Alia Bhatt: Our undying crush on her style was reinforced after we saw her in this chic and casual outfit on Instagram. Nothing can beat a ripped jeans-cami-heels look, but Alia made it pop with the addition of a metallic olive green trench coat. We think she looks amazing!

3) Deepika Padukone: Deepika is back in town to promote her new film XXX, and we're elated to have her home! She was spotted with Ranveer Singh in an adorable glittery red number, which was giving us serious flapper girl vibes. Flaunt those collarbones, girl!

4) Parineeti Chopra: Little Miss Chopra embraced the minimalist aesthetic this week, and shared a photo of herself in a stunning white bodycon dress! She paired her dress with some nude flats and bright pink sunglasses, giving her look a feminine touch.

November 19th marks the date of one of the biggest events of 2016 — The Global Citizen Festival, which took place in Mumbai. Headlined by the incomparable Coldplay, Jay-Z, and Demi Lovato, this gigantic charity festival had us all mesmerised. Some of Bollywood's biggest names showed support to their cause as well, and were spotted at the event sporting some incredible fashion. Here are our picks for best dressed -

1) Parineeti Chopra:
Parineeti stole the show with her outfit, wearing a classic white button down shirt dress paired with olive green thigh-high boots and a chunky waistbelt. Her look had us absolutely floored!

2) Varun Dhawan:
Varun has been sporting some really funky vibes lately, and this event was no exception. Sporting a highlighter-orange sweatshirt with ripped jeans and white sneakers, we thought he gave comfort fashion a whole new definition!

3) Sophie Choudry:
We've always had a little soft spot for Sophie's immaculate fashion sense, and we're so happy to have caught another glimpse of it at the festival! She kept it simple and cute in a white strappy bustier and black pants, paired with heeled sneakers and a cute little choker necklace.

4) Sonakshi Sinha:
Olive green is one of the most popular fashion trends this season, and Sonakshi Sinha is here to remind us why! We absolutely loved Sonakshi's monochrome aesthetic, where she wore a black strappy cami with an olive tie-up skirt and oversized cardigan.

Shraddha Kapoor has been absolutely slaying the style game lately with her ensembles for her various Rock On 2 promotional events!

We've been seeing a new look posted by her stylist Sanam Ratansi almost everyday, so we decided to put all of the awesome looks together to give you some fashionspiration.

The colours Shraddha has favoured the most in her recent outfits are black and blue—she rocked a fringed all-black ensemble and a black suit, and a blue cocktail dress, and three different outfits with jeans, a denim shirt, and a denim vest respectively.

But despite favouring these hues, Shraddha did switch it up a little here and there! On one occasion she chose to rock a red cold-shoulder top, and on another occasion she wore chrome yellow high-waisted pants (which looked super comfy!) and a grey cami top.

On the whole, the vibe we get from Shraddha's recent style is a laid-back yet stylish one. We love it!

We recently brought you the complete 90s style guide, so you know that we're a big fan of 90s fashion, and trends making comebacks. When we spotted Alia Bhatt rocking a cool B&W outfit recently (see gallery above), we were instantly transfixed by another 90s trend that can be worn even today—reverse layering.

And Alia's not the only one who's rocking this style. It was all over the spring runways last year too! This trend, reminiscent of the uber stylish Cher Horowitz from Clueless, is pretty simple: all you have to do is layer a camisole or strappy slip dress over a t-shirt.

This is a great way to put a unique spin to your outfit without getting outrageously experimental, and that's what we love most about it. And you don't just have to stick to t-shirts either—feel free to swap it out for a turtleneck if you live in a cold place and want to make the outfit more winter appropriate. If you want a summery look, choose a cami/slip dress with a floral pattern or in a bright colour, and go for darker tones for a more fall-ish look. Or go monochromatic, or even pair clashing prints if you're feeling bold. The sky's the limit when it comes to fashion!

It's finally time for our end-of-the-week compilation of the best celebrity outfits we saw in the past week!

Here are our top 5 picks.

(P.S.: Once you're done seeing the looks, you can shop them all below!)

Alia Bhatt in denim on denim
Alia rocked a light denim cami top and jeans, which she finished with a long white jacket and black slip-ons. The definition of stylish while travelling!

Sayami Kher in lehenga + crop top
We always love a little Indo-western sartorial magic, so we obviously adore this lehenga + crop top combo that Sayami rocked at a recent event.

Jennifer Winget in embellished jeans
This outfit was the perfect combination of chic and funky, in our opinion—a crisp white shirt with an elegant gold stripe down the middle, embellished jeans, and classic nude pumps.

Taapsee Pannu in a striped dress
Taapsee has caught our eye ever since her superb performance in Pink, and she gave us major nautical vibes in this striped dress.

Kareena Kapoor Khan in olive green
Oh, mama mia! It's no secret that Kareena's been slaying us with her maternity style lately, but this outfit was on a whole new level. Bebo looked absolutely smouldering in this olive green maxi with a thigh-high slit! And we love that she kept the footwear nude so that the focus would be on the dress.
