Libra, your time has come and although your naturally intuitive nature means you’re generally pretty good at shopping for yourself, you often find it hard to make decisions. Fear not, because we’ve created a handy guide and an edit of pieces that were made for you.

Airy pastel tones of pink and light blue are your jam, reflecting your calming, loving and very likeable character. These pale hues bring a calming and likeable presence to Libra's personality. Blue represents your clarity and balance, while pink showcases your propensity for love – you are ruled by Venus after all.

So Libra, your love for all things chiffon, crepe and voluminous is never ending due to your interest in breezy and elegant silhouettes, but a well-fitting pair of blue jeans and a fuzzy blush-toned jumper will do just as well for you on off-duty days.

Your sign is among the most social and popular meaning a party-ready look is your go-to. A great line-up of mix and match accessories is essential for balancing your outfit and we know how much you love balance.

The sign of the scales is blessed with a natural sense of right and wrong, making you very focused on justice, honesty, and fairness – is that a politically-charged slogan tee we spy in your autumn line-up?

Now that it’s Libra season your sign ushers in the coming of gorgeous autumn sunshine but as your ruling planet of Venus is currently in retrograde, remember to dress for yourself and don’t worry about the opinions of others. Spend more time shopping for and rocking pieces that are personal to you.

Because Libra sees both sides of every situation, they can have trouble making up their minds. We know how much you love to please others, but don't forget to treat yourself too. If in doubt, just buy both pairs of shoes. You deserve them, Libra.

Shop the Libra season edit below and let a little bit of you shine through…

When it comes to injecting your home with color, purple probably isn’t the most obvious choice. But ever since Pantone announced Ultra Violet as the color of the year, the shade has been popping up on Pinterest and Instagram more than ever.

Described as a blue-based purple, Ultra Violet is associated with iconic musicians such as Prince, David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix, and this particular shade has always had a mystical or spiritual quality.

It's also a deeply calming hue. Purple-toned lighting is often used in meditation spaces, so it’s the perfect color to work into your everyday living space.

If you’re looking to add subtle hints of Ultra Violet, try cushions, candles and coffee table books throughout the room. Bed linen is also an easy way to try the trend – break up the color with pillows in different tones.

Incorporate the color in your kitchen by teaming purple chairs with a natural wood table, or invest in a single armchair in plush velvet – it will look great with gold and marble finishes.

Shop the edit below for our favourite ways to take on the trend, whatever your budget…

If you haven’t already added a handful of vitamin-rich products to your beauty line-up it’s high time you considered it. Whether you opt for a cream, mask, gel or capsule, these are the health-giving heroes you should be looking for…

Vitamin C is loved by beauty buffs for its collage-boosting properties. Fighting free radical damage – caused by UV rays, pollution, smoking and other environmental factors – Vitamin C is your go-to for reversing UV damage and hyperpigmentation. Use your products before applying sunscreen and make up in the morning.

Vitamin E is ideal for preventing dryness as it reduces water loss in your skin cells. It’s also pretty good at defending you from free radicals and calming inflammation. Vitamin E reduces water loss in skin cells, which keeps dryness at bay. Use Vitamin E all day, every day – especially in sunny weather or after a trip to the beach.

Vitamin A is lauded for its ability to strengthen skin cells, reducing wrinkles and helping with skin problems like psoriasis and acne. Encouraging collagen production and shedding old skin cells, save your Vitamin A for your before-bed routine.

Our bodies make Vitamin D naturally when our skin is exposed to the sun but too much sun can lead to skin damage. Maintain the perfect balance and your overall skin health will be impeccable. An anti-inflammatory, Vitamin D stimulates cell turnover and boosts skin elasticity and radiance helping you to get your glow on.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in stress. We all know what it's like when pressure mounts at work and at home. Despite your hardest efforts to relax it's challenging to unwind without a little help. But you deserve to relax and luckily there are many successful stress busters that can help relieve your anxiety in less than 15 minutes.

We picked out a few of our favourites to help you out. Here are best ways to fight stress and relax wherever you are...

Meditate

Just a few minutes of practice per day can help ease stress. According to research, a daily meditation session can transform the brain's neural pathways making you more resilient to stress and better at regulating your thoughts.

Get fit

Exercise is your go-to tip to combat those strung-out feelings because believe it or not, putting physical stress on your body through exercise can help relieve mental stress.

People who exercise regularly are less like to experience anxiety because exercise lowers the body's stress hormones and helps release endorphins aka the all-natural happiness drug.

Take supplements

There are several supplements that are used to reduce stress and anxiety. Look for supplements that feature ingredients such as Omega-3 fatty acids, green tea, Lemon balm or valerian root known for its ability to relax the body and aid a gentler sleep.

Editor’s tip: Don't forget to consult your doctor before taking supplements as some can interact with medications or have side effects.

Light a candle

Invest in a few soothing essential oils or burn a scented candle to reduce your feelings of anxiety. Some scents, such as lavender, rose, bergamot, chamomile and orange blossom, are incredibly calming.

Spa at home

Indulge in a luxurious spa experience at home. Simply prepare a bath with salts, scrubs, scents and music and get your pamper on.

Avoid procrastination

The best way to take control of your stress is to work on eliminating your  triggers. A big one is procrastination.Instead of stressing about all the things you should have been doing, take charge, be proactive and wave goodbye to procrastination. Get yourself a notepad and get into the habit of making a to-do list every day and prioritizing your tasks.

Ready to unwind? Which of these tips will you be trying? Head to our edit and shop all the essentials for a stress-free week now...

Stockholm home of designer Amelia Widell, featured on #ELLEDecoration has my heart fluttering. The pastel, sorbet shades are calming but alive and sophisticated. I aspire to have a wall clad in this many frames. There is something about the treasure trove of books and photos that should look cluttered but instead gives the whole room personality. Would you use a room like this as inspiration? Image: ELLE Decoration #decor #interiordesign #interiors #home #homestyle #hygge #scandinavian #interiordesigner #design #homeware

Looking for some cool and calming colours for your bathroom? We highly recommend introducing some orange and gold as seen in the above picture.

There are plenty of appropriately coloured furnishing you can add, such as orange towels, gold and silver towel racks, a wonderful wooden bathroom cabinet and why not add a nice white frame mirror.

The addition of these colours will give your bathroom a royal and inspired look, making it a worthwhile visit every time!

Looking forward to Tibi's Spring/Summer show at New York Fashion Week this year? The brand is known for its unique basics in soft colors. You'll find a lot of solid calming colors, pastels and navy and black and whites.

Tibi's pieces are super wearable- there are a lot of slightly oversized sweaters, shift dresses, and work appropriate skirts. Tibi's slightly unique brand always shows through in the asymmetric hemlines or unusual silhouettes.

There's something especially serene about the colour teal.

This may be something to do with it its visual representation of the Earth's oceans, but regardless of reason we here at Shopcade believe it to be one of the most calming colours you can include in your outfit.

The above picture is a perfect example of how to wear teal, and our friend combines a hypnotic teal skirt with a beautiful long white shirt and a gorgeous blue and white striped coat.

When I dream of you...

You're dressed in all blue...

The colour blue is scientifically proven to have a calming effect on the human brain. It is also said to stimulate creativity, and definitely looks great to wear.

We're loving this simple all blue outfit which features just a pair of blue heels and a beautiful blue lace dress. We're especially loving the dark blue tone, one that's perfect for hot summer evenings!
